‘New’ golden eggs question
im missing one banana to complete the 15th but i dont knw where it is…..i also need one more pineapple ..on smugglers’ den 2-6 its to hard to get it i dont knw how to throw the red bird backward….any suggestions….
Video will be up later tonight.
Hit the lowest horizontal board in the first tower to shatter it and take that whole tower out. Then you do the same thing on the second tower to clear the level. 97180 so far…
I already had my stars and 93K here, but this is much easier! 95K on my first try, 98K on the second! Thanks.
You lucky … !
I’ve done this exact thing probably 20 times and never made it more than 91K, my rec. is 95K in this nad I thought it could be improved with this method, but no.
Luckily I’ve got plenty of time in work to work with this one! ;)
I followed your strat, and watched as the second bird caused the rest of the structure to collapse and take out the marmosets for 100k.
Thanks @rambeaux – your strat gave me a greatly improved score for the Challenge. It was simple and easy to follow. I’ve tried several of the 1 bird solutions but couldn’t get them to work for me. Will continue to try to improve but you gave me a leg up. Thanks again.
Thanks for this strategy! I just could not get the one in the video to get me more than 91000 or so…
Thanks @rambeaux, that was easy and repeatable. Improved my score by 10K!
Excellent strat – this is the way to go!!
106400 – totally fluked a one bird strike on this level – hit the first tower just under the steel triangle and it spun into the next one and collapsed the whole lot..!
100870 did the same on the first shot & for the 2nd shot depends on how the structure collapsed from the 1st bird. But I’m gona try to top or score the same as Beer_and_gravy wish me luck & Happy Easter!!
I know I didn’t try long enough but as Beer_and_Gravy said, it’s total fluke cant do it & I’m off to the nxt level!
Using rambeaux’s method I fluked a 109,390. The triangle block on the first tower fell on the left leg of the second, starting a chain that pushed the connecting piece to the third enough to make it topple too.
…with one bird at the bottom horizontal piece of the first tower.
100,930
The trick is to hit the diagonal piece at the bottom of the first tower in such a way that nothing breaks (I use a half power shot). I shoot toward the top of the diagonal piece just below the horizontal one. The first tower collapse in such a way that the horizontal piece between the tower 1 and 2 is pulled and takes tower 2 with it. The pull effect always happen but tower 2 doesn’t always come with it. It is relatively easy to start the collapse but it requires a little luck to get all the marmosets.
After one hour trying your trick, i’ve never seen tower 2 collapses. Grrrrrr . And on iPhone is difficult to select half power with my big finger Who hide the bird…. :-(
Thank you very much, indeed. How could you figure out this one bird strategy? Been trying quite some time, and on very few occasions saw 2nd tower moving after 1st hit. Finally, everything collapsed taking down all the marmosets and enough of the material to collect 109800 lucky score points.
i think, i used the same like @eweber many thx
here a video with 101k:
https://youtu.be/vDY5KlWMWuk
Used the same one bird strategy. Thanks @eweber for posting. Also thanks to @comex666 for the video and @lowergravity for the tip on tapping the screen to launch the red bird which was new information for me. Obtained the one bird solution three times.
After many, many tries, success! Great imagination to come up with this strategy! Thank you for sharing.
Just achieved top score using this method, thanks for sharing manu.
A hint for those having trouble with half power pulls: instead of dragging bird, just tap next to the bird and let go. Takes some practice but soon you’ll get the hang of it.
@lowergravity, thanks for this tip – Been playing AB for so long & I never knew just tapping the screen could do this. The closer to the slingshot you tap, the lower the power of the shot. Amazing. Got Manu’s shot to work for me & up my score by 9k. Thank you!
99.110 – 3 birds. Took 1 tower at a time (lower bar)
I hit the bottom right where the first horizontal and vertical wood planks meet at point on bottom of left first structure and it clears first structure, did the same thing on second structure wich causes the third to go too.
Do you mean the joint between the diagnol wood leaning against the first structure?
Got it..96290 can probably do better, just trying to get through for now. Ty again AA for leading the way..along with all the help from our freinds, we will get by:)
Wow Kathy, you’re passing levels pretty quick, great job!
BTW ABN feels dead overnight.
Well I been playing for about 12 hours straight lol..so not that quickly…amd in response to your post on badges… I am getting a new battery tommorow…think that may solve the freezing problem. May be over heating..ty for yoor concern:)(lol maybe 12 hours straight making phone overheat lol)…
I was trying to do this using Manu’s idea, but that half power shot is really hard to do. I ended up hitting near the top of the front diagonal plank, it broke & the 1st tower fell but the momentum moved through those horizontal planks & caused the 3rd tower to collapse as well, I guess a kind of Newton’s cradle effect? (My physics is a bit rusty.) 2nd bird then demolished the 2nd tower. I haven’t been able to repeat this, though I will keep trying, I was so surprised I’m not sure exactly where my 1st bird hit.
First bird directly into the left horizontal board. If you don’t have about 25,000 points, adjust your aim a little. In addition to the points, you don’t want much rubble on the ground preventing the next collapse. Second shot at or just under the very top triangle. There are many ways the resulting collapse can happen and not all of them are particularly good but they are fun to watch, and a fair amount of the time it is good enough so you can get an easy third shot and score 90,000 to 95,000 points. Less frequently you get a two birder and a 100,000+ score.
I followed the method suggested by @rambeaux and found it to work quite thoroughly. Thank you Rambeaux.
