Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Walkthrough Level #8

Our strategy for Golden Beachball level 8 is to lob the first Yellow bird into the middle of the structure, aiming for the central TNT. Fire the next Yellow bird head-on into the largest box on the left side of the level. Finish with a direct shot at the TNT on the right side. The score in the video below is 81,370.

My first bird took out the left side (like the 2nd bird in the video). Now, with luck and help from 2 TNTs and gravity, one bird can take out the rest.

That helps, Johnson. Taking the left side first does make things easier. Got 81,760, but I’m sure 90k+ is easy. It’s just me that have to use the third bird. :(

Got 88,540 using 2 birds. I shot the 1st bird up high and shot it down just left of the middle beach ball in between the 2 towers (and both TNT’s got off easier if you go this way 1st for some reason), leaving eveything except the 1st tower. I than used the 2nd bird taking out the first tower on the left (like the 1st bird shot on the video above). Good luck

Got 89570. Did it backwards. First birds aimed straight at the top left corner of the large wood crate at the base of the front tower. This took out all of the front tower. Second bird aimed straight into the heart of the second tower to hit the TNT and finish it all off.

@surfcow, although I’m fairly new here at the nest, I’ve been following your (required reading at the academy) long and sometimes whimsical discourses of all that whirls, shifts and traverses that bovine mind of yours, and I must say that I’m shocked and in awe that you only wrote 1 sentence and a short one at that.

I imagine that the other nesters that have become addicted to your fits of speaking in tongues (funny gibberish) must also feel disappointed at not having to read at least 5 paragraphs of all that says nothing.

I realize that your post is about 18 mos. old, which could signify that you weren’t yet qualified and approved by the beef industry to propagate mad cow disease. I certainly hope that the next time I read one of your infamous quotes, it’ll be at least a minimum of 3 paragraphs.

Used the same strategy thanks @phat59 for posting. Tried to figure out a way to get extra points by destroying the wood where the green and blue birds are in the lower middle. It appears to be related to the luck of the sequence of destruction with the two bird solution. I suspect with all the destruction of the wood the scores over 100k might be obtained.

Did it same as phat59 with two birds. If three of the small wood pieces remaining had been destroyed, I think it would have been at least 94k.

Got mine with two birds…I aimed first bird low at left side of left structure at the bottom of the big crate and wooden plank then you have a clear path to the tnt’s so second bird at the middle TNT which ignited the other as well.

thanks @gordo402. However, this is insufficient proof of the high score. If you would please replay the level and take a screenshot of the 3-star tally score. Your current high score will be shown under the current session score, as this example: Screenshot_20160709-164011.png
Also, please provide the tally screenshot for ALL of your highscores in the leaderboards, as is customary for all players. Thank you!

Please read the FAQ page section on Leaderboards:

Thank you @sweetp for making me aware of this. I have never read the FAQ page. I will try to go back through and post screens and comments. I did try to comment each time I got a good score but some were removed over time. I played nothing but RIO for many years trying to get high scores. Just recently started Seasons, but not quit as dedicated as I was with RIO. I think this is what you are looking for.

misterparon’s strat looks great, but much more tricky than it looks. Because of the way YB “jumps and quivers” when you pull him right up to the pole for a tight shot, judging the correct acute angle is really difficult. Tried countless times already and just can’t get it right. Oh well – just keep flinging!!

You need two very well-aimed shots and a lot of luck on this level. Unfortunately the video from @misterparon is no longer available so I’m left just flinging two birds.
