Angry Birds Rio Golden Beachball Walkthrough Level #20

Our strategy for Golden Beachball level 20 is to launch the Yellow bird through the floating sand blocks on the far top-right of the level. Those blocks should crush the cages below. Fire the White bird under the first platform, dropping the bomb to ricochet the bird through the middle structure. Depending on the destruction, use another bird to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 126,510.

Two birds possible. First bird like video. Second bird drop the egg earlier as in the video to break the left cage.
If you get lucky the white bird will go through the cage, and clear the sand block of the top structure. This will clear the whole level. 139800

Thanks for the strat! I used similar second shot and have current high score. It seemed to work best if WB hit top sand blocks in the middle and the the upper cage dropped down, igniting the dynamite and creating glorious havoc!

What an ultimate fun Rio level ;-)
Here’s a few tips that may help increase your score:
First bird same as video and @traneric‘s strat.
Second bird send earlier as mentioned but have WB go through the coconut so the coconut gets thrown up along with WB. WB does her job taking out the sand blocks from the top structure…meanwhile the coconut ricochets down to land on the bottom center tnt…once everything explodes, you get an extra 5K for that coconut and every other one you take out with a direct hit!!!
I have also got several 145K+ scores with a third bird to get extra debris & coconuts…if you can take out two coconuts with one bird, that’s 10k right there ;-) You can do the same first two shots but sometimes the top structure doesn’t fall completely so you can send YB to clean up the remaining sand blocks up top causing more debris and coconuts to get crushed.

Youhoooou, thank you @lesleyg !! I have used your precious tips to improve my score of 144k+, and after a long fight with the “rebel” coconuts, which were more efficient to slow my White bird instead of making more debris, i finally got it !! I know it’s a looong time already that you have left that Rio’s level but i wanted to tell you ;-)

I don’t understand TD on this level at all. Finally got it, but there was so much stuff left, I almost reset before it finished tallying the score.

I used a slightly different strat. I shot the yellow bird through the sand blocks supporting the large stone structure with the cage inside. The resulting chain reaction took out just about everything. White bird as clean up.

This is the strat I used as well. First bird through the sandblocks to the left of and under the large structure in the middle. With collateral damage luck, most of the level will clear.

Then WB to the middle and get it to riccochet through the upper right sandblocks, making the stones and the bonusfish fall down and clear the rest.

I’ve managed several scores between 150-153k with 3 birds. I’m having trouble getting yhe first bird cage, so I need the 3rd yellow bird to get that and some collateral. If you manage to get the coconut as well 160k with 3 birds should be possible. haven’t been able to link the shots yet

I went this route but neither picked off the top right floating island. However, the dropped egg did blow up two coconuts for an extra 10k. Third bird like the first in the video to drop the top right island and take out the stuff below it. Not much debris left. 158420 w/3

This is the way I played this one but I was never able to clear it with 2 birds, the 1st birdcage on the left always survived the 1st shot so I needed to use the yellow bird. There’s usually some sand blocks left underneath from the lower left structure (where the purple bird was hanging) so I aim the yellow just underneath the cage so it gets slowed by the wood. This way it tends to drop down & go through the blocks under the cage & then some of the blocks further below for a few extra points. I managed to get one of the coconuts with the dropped egg.

When the fruit of the palm was broken, I paid attention to the 5K point thing that I got.
The first bird drops a central upper building in order to drop the fruit of the palm.
After having dropped an egg by about the same orbit, can drop the second bird to a stone of the top right corner.
The third only helps the left bird.
I think that probability to disturb the fruit of the palm by many stones which the second bird drops goes up it.

Just as an encouragement to other flingers out there, I played this level about 40-50 times before I got any score over about 135k. Luckily that time it was 151k. This is another one of those levels where persistence pays off.

3-birder
first bird high arc (1:00), activate near the palm, bird fly under the palm, hit the sand-bank, stones with cage fall to the left.
second bird under the left cage, activate, bird hit the right sand-bank (under the coconut), bird hit the rest of top structure.
third bird hit the sand-bank under the glass-fish.

Thanks @comex666 for the strategy and video. The tip for the second bird was challenging to complete but was able to pull it off a few times and have the egg hit the structure below. This score was with nothing in the air. Everything was on the ground so there maybe some luck with the destruction sequence to obtain the higher scores. Fun level to play.
