Our strategy for Carnival Upheaval level 8-7 is to launch Blu into the wooden roof of the main structure. If the first gap is still covered, clear it with the first White bird. Next, bomb as close to the middle tower as possible in the left gap, and then bomb the exposed right tower. The score in the video below is 80,070.

91940 – 1 fatty bomber left again. Blue destroyed more of the wood pieces, the triangular stone piece fell left and broke the horizontal wood piece that was left. Fatty bomber into the hole and 3nd fatty bomber to the rightmost column left.

92910 – used bluebird to smash into lower stone wall (where monkey is). This caused the left hand side of the structure to collapse. Then used 2 egg bombers to finish the rest off, leaving 1 egg bomber spare.
Interestingly I scored 88,000 doing the same thing however the level would not end because the blue bird was bouncing on that blue/pink trampoline!! I thought the game would eventually end but after 10 mins, the bird kept bouncing. In the end I had to close the game down and start again! Sounds like a little bug that needs fixing :)

had the same problem, i think I only had 85000, but the blue bird was still stuck bouncing on the trampoline thingy, and it never ended, even walked away from the game for 5 minutes and it was still going… :(

I’ve experienced this same bug more than once. Very annoying when it’s lost me my best 2 scores! Oh well.

I’m sitting on 92,040 and that stupid blue bird is just bouncing and bouncing. This is the second time my 3 star has been ruined.

133,300 Not sure how I got this score I followed the video except put a high trajectory on the bluebird and it came down on the left of center and everything blew up and all the white bombers were left over. I tried many times to duplicate it but never came close
Did this happen to anyone else? My highest score before this was 78,860. I posted it and felt I needed an explanation.

I got 93910 by shooting the blue bird on a high arc, landing on the right edge of the wooden structure. On one of about 50 tries for this, enough of the RHS collapsed to allow bird 2 to be shot high arc into the gap on the right, destroying all but the left stone structure. The third bird took this out.

I have played level 8-7 no less than a 100 times. After about 25-30, I came looking for help. Walk-through showed me everything I was already doing, except I could break the 80K mark. My highest score was 79,190. Doing everything exact as shown kept getting me even lower scores. I decided the game hated me. Out of frustration I went to youtube and watched a few alternative was of beating the level..(all of which I had tried in various forms already). Was ready to give up until I saw a video uploaded by iEverything01 ; some of the techniques I had already used, but there was 1 thing that was done different than anything I had tried using the last Fatty Bomber to take out the far right blocks and monkey. Took a few tries, but I did it. Finally got 3 stars (81,840). So if you’re still stuck, give iEverything01 on youtube a watch. Perhaps it will help you as well. Many thanks goes out to iEverything01 for saving my sanity!

91650 after a gazillion attempts. Then the b/b was stuck on the bouncy thing and I was really worried but after a little while the game ended so it was cool. Thanks everyone who highlited the bug so it could be fixed before I got to it and for your tips that got me this score. Luv you all.

I finally managed to get above average similar to @misterparon but got 89500 and was glad to get above average. This level was brutal trying to get the wood to break with first bird!!!

Am replaying RIO in HD and struggled to match previous score, let alone better it. Thanks to the video link supplied by @misterparon I eventually managed a couple thou improvement. Agree with AngryAdvisor though, this level was brutal, especially landing that first shot. Happy days, I’m moving right along now.

Thanks @comex666 for the video. Was able to complete this level as you presented but the higher points I could not obtain. Did get above average and it was a fun level to play.
