Our strategy for Blossom River Level #4 is to fling the Orange bird toward the largest marmoset on the left side of the level. It’s possible that debris from the Orange bird’s expansion could hit the nearby TNT, resulting in a one-bird clear. If not, an easy shot awaits. The score in the video below is 85,490.

Quick – before the level times out, send the second bird up to the TNT up top! Extra points are well worth it!
That is, if the first shot sends debris to hit lower TNT.
Oh yessssss! Definitely worth a few tries…
I managed 99k without setting off the TNT. Not top score, but it will do for now.
@Burbman — Any tips on getting the first bird to take out the TNT and the left marmoset?
@mvnla2 – Aim just a little higher than the walkthrough vid. I hit the stack of stones about the middle of the longer lower one.
Activating just before impact with the stack also helps throwing stuff right towards the TNT.
Definitely yes ! From around 80k up to 103k. Great !
Anyone figured out the feather here? Is there a hidden object that needs destroying?
Exactly what I wanted to ask. Any tips, anyone? Can’t get it higher than 96%?
@burbman EDIT: just got it and that’s how I did it: First bird – upwards, it has to go parabolically to enter the “valley” perfectly. On the top of hill use his power. Second bird – aim for the long piece of wood. If done correctly the whole structure will collapse. Third bird – right into the TNT. Fourth bird – drop egg on the debris from previously fallen structure. Now here’s trick I did. Since flinging ME in the right direction didn’t give me higher score than 96%, which was btw a really lucky one (mostly it was between 85-90%) I try going LEFT. The sardine slid on the platform, went into the water then ME came and cleared out the very rest of the structure on the left shore. As you can see on the picture, the right one is pretty much standing but I guess it really doesn’t matter. So I am going to go on limb here and say that clearing the left side is the way to go.

Thanks @lukazzz – I will keep at it!
@Lukazzz — This is the only level where I am missing a feather, so any additional details greatly appreciated. What “valley” are you talking about, and what does the first bird do? How far left does the sardine can go. I have tried this several times, and I haven’t seen ME yet, just an off-screen boom.
@mvnla2 Did you get it? Sorry, I am really bad at describing things. I meant that nice “valley” where the bird can roll once it falls down. Here’s the photo and the path of the first bird.
http://angrybir.de/1gm2vWB
As the “how far left does the sardine go” thing – far left, it definitely should not be seen on the screen, because it’s not the boom that matters but the ME ascending. But I see some nesters have made it the “normal way” so it is possible. Now that I think of it, my method is kind of strange…
@Lukazzz — Whoot! Got it! Some extra tips:
OB should just clear the higher stone blocks on the lower left, hit the TNT an continue down next to the wood platform on the lower right. Inflate OB just as he reaches the wood platform. He should clear the entire right platform. Second bird aim for the TNT on top; gives you more time for the next shots. 3rd bird as Lukazzz said. OK if lower left not totally destroyed, but better if it is. Use Matilda to clean up lower level.
Now, for that tricky sardine-can shot:
Partial power in steep arc to left. Sardine can should land on big bunch of vegetation on top left of slingshot island and fall into water. May be OK if falls directly into water. ME should take out remains of lower left and stones on upper right. Best to practice this multiple times until you can see ME coming back up in right spot. Good Luck!
Got the feather by clearing the bottom with the 4 birds – orange into the first structure, first yellow to clear as much of the middle including the arrow, next yellow to the TNT then quickly using white to clear anything left at the bottom!! Sardine can up to top to land next to the structure – good luck!
Finally! This strat worked for me. I had been doing similar but using 2nd yellow bird to take out top then flinging the sardine through the tunnel. Couldn’t get much above 90%. Just a few tries with your strat and the final feather has been completed, Thank you!
Got the feather, but took along time!
@andy2501 — What strat did you use?
@burbman — Any luck with the feather?
Should be @andy2510
I used all 4 birds to clear as much debris as possible then flung the sardine can backwards at a slight angle and not too hard so that the eagle clears the stubborn debris from the top right of the upper level and the floating debris from the bottom left.
Good luck!!
My Eagle two cents…
I sent orange to the standing stone pile and activated just before touching. This was the best way to clear the “floor” near the arrow. (The yellow birds have too narrow a path to get much done there.)
Then send yellows depending on what happened to bottom TNT.
1. If TNT detonated, use a yellow on remains of left structure. Then use one to far right wood.
2. If bottom TNT remains, use a yellow on it, then another to any wood remaining at the bottom.
Matilda – any stone debris on the far left is the best use.
Eagle – send to top. It may or may not blow the TNT up there. Either way ok; the eagle will get all stone up there. That’s how I did it after 3 days and trying all other methods many times. Good luck all!
I’ve never posted here before, but the comments have been such a help! I finally got the feather by using all the birds to clear everything from the bottom level, then flung the sardine can up into the top valley. The Eagle easily cleans off the entire top. And this was alter two days of hair-pulling frustration. Hope this helps somebody!
@mvnla2 – I eventually came to the conclusion that the feather on this level is awarded by a random number generator. I finally achieved it, but on that particular run, the lower TNT and the pile of rocks next to it were left untouched. I expected a mid eighties score and was surprised to see the counter go to 100%. No complaints, but I still don’t understand what it was and was not counting.
There are lots of ME levels where a few insignificant pieces have the key points for 100% ex: Bumpers, metal wheels, stone balls, and in B. River, black inner tubes. On this level, for me, it is the top stones.
I sent Orange low through the vertical wood planks in the first structure. Inflate however makes you happy. It leaves some scattered stones.
Yellow high into the plank beneath the top TNT, trying to push, -not blast- as many as you can over the edge. I say push, because you want to keep as many as you can out of the water. This is the key shot. If you knock all the stones off, you don’t need to throw the sardine can up there.
Next Yellow into the largest pile of wood debris, or hit the arrow and bottom TNT if it looks like the stones will do more damage. It’s not really needed, Eagle will usually detonate TNT
White bird same as Orange. Egg the remaining stones and throw the bird corpse into the bottom level and hopefully hit any rubble.
Sardine Can just to the right of the arrow, adjusting for debris.
@rat9 Heeellllppp? I can’t even make average here. m don’t have a clue what I’m doing wrong. . I’m flinging OB into the blue glass and then yb up to to the tnt.whhhiinneee
There, there @Kathy. Take a deep breath and get out of the area where they’re trying to get a feather. You want a good score, not a feather. Forget about this blue glass which you’re fixated on. Get some sleep and see me in the morning.
morning @rat9 ;) Pa I got it:) thank you. .
Thanks all for the replies! Still haven’t gotten the feather yet, but will keep trying. @Lukazzz @Andy2510 @Maiasatara @Dimmerdiva
BTW —@Maiasatara — Interesting name, not to mention hard to spell. Does it mean something?
One of the hardest level to feather.
But finished getting it in 5 mn.
Orange bird to the first bottom structure. Yellow to down TNT. Yellow to clear down right structure. Matilda to clear debris.
Mighty to upper TNT. Almost everything was cleared for 100%
The key is to clear the stones from the first structure on the left. Left quite a bit of debris on the top and right piles and it still granted me 100% so long as I cleared the left pile… Which pretty much needs to be done by placing the can just below the sling on the launch platform. It was easy when I finally stopped over-thinking it. No power-up required for sure.
Got my best score when the second bird took out the wood below the upper TNT and stones.
The TNT and three stone balls drop down just a bit before going off. The result was the stone balls hit the stack of stones lower and knocked them all over the edge onto the wood…..lots of wood destruction for extra points.
I concur @myselfandme. Shoot just under the TNT. Higher angles/arcs seem to get better clearance.
My early days Top Score was beeten. I suppose so by the way. To pass over 100K I used high lob with OB aiming Big marmoset U-box. This push explosion of the baloon both side with more power. 2nd shoot under the TNT.
@mvnla2 – several years ago I was working on a story taking place in India and needed character names. The “Satara” comes from that. The “Maia” I’ve always liked and saw it on a Scottish list during the name research. (I’m also part Scot.) I thought they sounded good together and use it as my login everywhere. A few people have asked recently! My egocentric view of your name here hopes it is relevant to L.A. – I lived there and REALLY want to go back. I get to think of it every time I see a post from you!
@Maiasatara — Yep, I live in LA and my initials are MV, see my profile for more details. Also, if you want to chat more with nesters, stop by the Bloated Pig in the old forum (also found under Community on the gold bar at the top of the cage).
Foo! Page!
First shot into the side just about at the blue(glass?) beam and inflate at hit and second like video.
thanks
The key of high scores : the stack of stones has to drop vertically, with all stones together, on the wooden structure, as left as possible. With the second bird, after first bird cleared all the marmoset and left structure. Luck needed.
There’s a lot of luck needed, it’s tough to get the stack of stones to drop straight down intact. It usually just tips over the edge & scatters.
I used a flatter arc to the wood below the TNT, & had a bit more luck from the yellow bird falling down off the cliff to do more damage below.
Only took a few thousand flings to crack 100k ;)

Orange Bird high lob to the stack of stone blocks. Yellow bird high to the wood lock under TNT. 96K
like @terribletom, thx and thx to @myselfiandme.
@karen68 many thx for picture
here a video with 98k:

Thanks to @terribletom @myselfiandme @karen68 for the strategy tips and suggestions. Also thanks to @comex666 for the video. With the first bird I zoomed in and buried the peek of the bird about half way into the base of the sling. It aided in more consistent placement of the bird into the big monkey and exploding the stones to the right tnt box.
After gazillions of throws hitting (not hitting TNT) I finally got it right using the same technique as everyone else. Agree with the assessment by @czarci om method and luck.

To any of you have been playing “Piggy Farm” lately….. There is quite a difference going from levels where getting a high score depends almost entirely on destruction from the deflating Orange Bird to this level where the deflating does practically nothing. On this level, I keep expecting damage that doesn’t happen.
92740/2
Just over average following the high lob 1st and TNT 2nd strategy so I will need to do better. These levels where there’s not much difference between average and the high score are tough.
