Angry Birds Rio Blossom River Walkthrough Level #2

Our strategy for Blossom River Level #2 is to launch Big Brother into the first stone tower. On the right side of the level, the chained stones should cause the primary structure to collapse, while debris should clear the marmoset on the left. The score in the video below is 114,940.

I too, same strategy as ABN video. The tnt also exploded. Was able to complete the strategy a number of times but could not break into 124k scoring range. Not much debris remaining for points.

Went in just a hair higher than the video and kind of skipped stone along the way disrupting everything and crashed into the right side tower. Was fun to watch

Found there is a sweetspot on the top left corner of the top stone. Just can’t get the first marmoset with that shot…yet!

Going hihger look like solves a problem of right side clearence and cases left side clearance problem. I improced +1K but it’s hard work to do.

Directly into the plank sticking out from under the top 2 stones. Key is getting the tnt, of course, and I have no idea how or why it happened. Had a few 116K scores without the tnt, but have only had it blow one time.

@zebung the slower the right structure collapses, the more likely it will kick the wooden base over onto the TNT. At least that’s the only way I’ve ever seen it blow.

Went high to the top of the right tower. Occasionally the top of the tower tilts left throwing BB backwards to topple everything on the deck to the left. Bottom of the tower falls right to denote TNT. Not high score, but close, with some debris left for possible high score. High score will require complete destruction with one bird.

This is a level where luck reigns supreme. It appears that any shot at the horizontal plank or above can give a high score. In my case, I shot at the intersection of the plank and the rectangular block above it. Very similar to the video.

I think I was aiming for about the same spot, just skimming over the horizontal plank. Finally got a decent collapse & managed to set off the TNT as well.

I’ve had a few hundred failed 1-bird attempts, so went back and refined my two bird strat to at least
Two very similar 2-bird strats that consistently yield 3-stars and often into the “11teens”

First bird over the top and into the vertical block on top of the one the chain is attached to. best placement is to hit that block and barely graze the square block below. one of two things happens – either it pulls the chain dropping both far structures and blowing the TNT, or the chain pulls Big Red back. A good first toss score is above 63K
Second bird slightly above horizontal, activate just as it hits the second wood support.

Second is a minor variation on the first, but the first bird goes over the structures through that marmie on the stone block everyone else seems to hit with their 1-birders, breaks the chain, destroys the tower, bounces off the wheelhouse and back into the structure the chain was attached to.

I just tried it once more while writing this up and went from 115,810 to 115,880 so it’s a good solid way to either get out of the basement or consistently 3-start it. If you could get as much destruction with a one-birder you’d be approaching the top spot.
Just for S&Gs I’ve thrown 3 for a total destructo tally and 3-stared at 106 with two fractured blocks left, so I think 116 is the practical 2-bird limit

This level is crazy difficult to get above average. I’m still about 600 under average but my score only ranks at # 302.
