Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley Walkthrough Level 23 (6-8)

Our strategy for Beach Volley level 6-8 is to lob the first two Black birds into the gap between the left and middle structures. Fire the third Black bird to the right tower, blasting away the remaining marmosets. The score in the video below is 119,470.

Hit the red flag, takes out the left structure. Use 2nd blackbird to take out the base of the middle piece (if you’re lucky it brings down a bit of the structure on the right as well. Last birds takes out the rest.

1.-Shoot the bird on the umbrella, eliminating the entire tower, (32,000 points).
2.-Second bird, the base of the structure, trying to reach the sand blocks the shot. (over 110,000 points)
3.-Third bird must pass over wooden box and slip into blocks of ice.
(142,350 points)

Acemillan, I don’t understand what ur saying. Bounce off umbrella or shoot bird just over umbrella to 1st structure?

I think he means aim it so it baaaarely makes it over the umbrella and then explode it yourself.

Alternatively, if you aim low enough, the bomb will fall through to the ice on it’s own.
At least this is what I did. The idea is to destroy the ice so when the second bird brings down the structure, it had farther to fall and most all the stones break, including the big balls. It also pushes the explosion rightward doing some more damage, but I think clearing the ice is the key.

i think you’re right. 148,140. i just clear the umbrella…and detonate manually the instant you break the first block you hit. then second shot as described. i did my third shot at about a 15 degree up angle, and detonate manually immediately. almost total destruction…maybe a dozen blocks left.

This is basically what I did, with a slightly different third bird, aimed towards the front of the remaining structure so that the explosion forced debris towards the final monkey finishing it off. I couldn’t get that bird to get into the ice unfortunately. I got 134k, and there was a lot of concrete remaining!

145360. First bird shot low over umbrella, landed on ice. Second bird close to sand blocks next to stone triangle. Third bird on top of first hollow stone square was able to take out the rest.

Used your first two birds as described but flung the third bomb bird further to the right in order to get the far right monkey. Thanks for the post @birdvictory.

Shot 1st bird at 1st tower. It and part of the main structure came down. Use the 2nd bird to clear the main structure. Use the 3rd bird to destroy the monkeys at the end.

I aim first bird high arch and it comes down thru the vertical stone slab just to left of third monkey on top of box and comes down thru bottom monkey sitting on sand just right of the ice, this takes out whole left structure, ice and flag..sometimes to flag will plung right and cause damage to the middle structure too but this is not nessiacary, then you have a clear shot for the second bird to hit the base of the main middle structure by triangle and sand blocks at bottom. This clear shot allows for almost the whole middle structure to blow. third shot to last monkey. Very repeatable due to the clear shot at the base of middle structure, being able to go in low and get it all is key to high score.

1st bird into the left gap, then the 2nd into the main structure. If triggered correctly you’d only need 2, and net 3-stars with 129840.

same method. 2 birder 141,150 1st bird through the gap, roll over ice and explode on the 1st sand box(45k+) with this explosion the gate will be open to enter the main structure. with 2nd bird bring down everything (131k)

Acemillan has the right 1st shot on this, if u get the timing right u get 32k instead of 27, after that the 2nd is easy just aim it a little higher, the 3rd u just have to trust to luck, my 156k score wasnt lucky at all, i even got 154 with falling the right structure falling to the right instead of breaking the ice and falling to the left. Its pretty straightforward, 160k+ is definitely possible on a good day ;-)

“TwosDay” (2/22/2022) must have been that “good day” for me, @crivit. I had been trying to up my score of 148000 to get into the top 100 on this level by trying to mimic the shots in the always helpful @comex666 video. I didn’t get quite the level of destruction on the second bird, but shot the third bird a little lower than usual and things just kept dropping and breaking. Frankly, I was more than a little surprised to add more than 4000 (162320) to the previous high score . I was half asleep flinging on auto-pilot last night when I got my score so I didn’t notice too many details, but I’ve been using the same shots as in misterparon’s video. The 3rd shot can fall all the way down to the hollow stone squares, it doesn’t quite get there in his video, but I’ve been detonating it right before it hits the bottom, so maybe it’s pretty much the same thing. I’m also finding it doesn’t work too often so it takes some luck. I know when I hit 157k, the marmoset & the left half of the far right structure fell to the left, & the rest fell to the right. There was very little debris left, & I didn’t get all the ice on the right.
1st shot should give 32-34k, 2nd you’re looking for 110k+. Happy flinging! :)

Great score @karen68, sometimes those ‘I’ll just have one more’ shots are the money shot, don,t know whether it is because we are so tired and the fingers do what they have been doing for hours and the brain says “get this one right and you can go to bed” or what lol,. that is what happened to me last night and I was glad to put the iPad down and the head on the pillow, I think I have the ‘addict, badge firmly in my grasp.

Same strat described as acemillan above and @misterperon ‘s video with two differences. On my score the first bomb bird scooted all the way to the base of the central tower leaving two weaked blocks holding it up score 40k. Shot two went all the way past center of the tower taking out all the sand AND Causing the third tower to fall to the left clearing for a direct shot on the last tower. A score 120k. Last bird underneath the last tower causing it to fall left and taking out more debris.

After flinging for an hour this morning I came to this conclusion. You must clear ALL ice and stone on left of main structure with first shot. Any left will sap energy from falling pieces in shot two. @misterparon has the best video to show first shot. Then you must get to the sandblocks with second shot to insure complete collapse of structure and breaking of rock balls. It is the third shot that has me stumped. The placement in the video doesn’t seem to work for me. Can’t explain it but it escapes me somehow. Maybe @karen68 has it with early detonation. I will fling on…

I followed the strat by @birdvictory, and it worked out pretty good for me, unfortunately, it’s that last shot that only comes out right once every 5 attempts and not always with the same amount of destruction, but nonetheless I was able to raise my old score by 27k+, and as usual I’m stopped dead in my tracks by an unseen barrier. Agggh – if I had a buck for every time I was at 140 with the entire right structure there, or mid 140’s with that blasted last marmie wearing a stone for a hat, I’d buy a new device with a bigger screen. Stuck at 143 but KNOW there are points there for me.
