Angry Birds Rio Beach Volley Walkthrough Level 15 (5-15)

The best strategy for Beach Volley level 5-15 is to lob the White bird to bomb between the first and second structures, ricocheting the bird into the tower atop the level. Fire a few Black birds towards the bottom of the right stone tower to clear the level. The score in the video below is 156,240.

Used the four bird almost like the ABN video for this level. The last two were in slightly different locations because of the debris piles. Tried using three birds but gained more than 10k in the debris with the fourth bird.

The trick on this level is to drop the egg between the first two structures. If done well, the left structure is destroyed as well as enough of the skull to be able to place a bomb right in the middle of the jaw. The skull will explode clearing all the left side of the board and leaving the second skull wide open. Second bomb need to hit and explode on the left side of the jaw of the last structure before it hit the sand. I manage to pretty much clear everyting and didn’t ned the last bomb. 185400

There are 2 great strats to choose from for the Challenge today, I’m curious which one my fellow flingers are using.

I improved using Manu’s great strat. His tip for the 3rd shot, about detonating the bomb after hitting the right skull but before hitting the sand made the difference, I was letting it drop down before detonating.
1st shot scores vary quite a bit, my best was 90k; usual scores were 65-80k range. Most of the left half of the skull needs to fall to make a good 2nd shot, or at least be cracked.
The 2nd shot has to go through the remains of the skull & detonate close to the right corner of the platform the skull sits on to clear out the middle. Good score is 115k+.
Then the 3rd like Manu describes. I scored 182k with 3 birds, also managed 175k with all 4 using this strat.

If I have time later I’ll have to give crivit’s strat a try.

I’m working on an alternative strat that I found on the net which gave me 184k so far with quite some stones left.
1st bird at a 20 degree angle drop egg on the ice and take down top house. This should yield a score of 45-47k with 2 monkeys killed. Best is if white bird drops back at the tree this makes the 3rd shot easier.
2nd aim at the sharp spot of the floating island so bb will drop next to the 2nd skull of stones. Best is when the far monkey is still alive that wont make the 4th shot stressful ;)
3rd shot at the very bottom of the 1st skull of stones.
Then hurry the hell up and shoot the 4th to break the remaining stones before the level ends! Like I said before, if the far monkey is still alive you can take
more patience shooting at it.

I should have put 45-47k with THREE monkeys killed above.
With 3 perfect shots without having to shoot the last bird the 190k mark is possible I know by now, but something inside my mind always wants that last bird to be released quickly :-)

I’ve been alternating between @eweber and @crivit for challenge today and only ONCE did I better my previous 164k and that was a 173k with crivit’s method. I haven’t had to ask this in a while but are there platform differences on this level? I have never seen anything above 24k with the first shot that’s supposed to average 44-45k and am still 15k away from the high and 10k away from top 10. Other than the quick time-out possibly costing a few thousand I’m not sure what I’m missing. Tough one! Good luck with your last hour, all!

instead of that I posted screenshots of the first 3 shots in my album now for those that are interested. 187k score is a 4-birder with the same shots btw.
If u can make that 5 stones on the far right that are stuck together tumble, you can get a bonus of 3-6k. With this 190k is also possible with 4 birds.
