The best strategy for Airfield Chase level 9-6 is to fire the Blue bird horizontally through the two ice blocks and the sand block in the upper-middle of the level. This will cause the crane to fall to the left and destroy the right side of the level. Use the first Yellow bird through the left side of the structure, aiming for the gas cans. If you don’t get them on the first try, use the next Yellow bird for the explosion. Use the remaining birds to reach the cages in the middle of the level, if necessary. The score in the video below is 108,970.

Issue with Angry Birds 2 and windows
114k possible with 2 birds… But bird 1 is hard.
Bird 1: shoot in high arc and split it so that when it splits up, it breaks up in such a way that all 3 mini blue birds are spread out. If I could describe it better, I would. What I *can* describe is the result. Done right all three mini birds will come back down in such a way that one breaks the ice atop each of the three structures… Setting off blue TNT and leaving only one or two cages from the middle section.
Bird 2: aim straight at remaining cages (usually the two that are on the bottom of 2nd structure (on rolling platform).
Okay… Better method.
132k+. 1 bird.
Aim 1st bird a little more than 50 degrees and split after about 1 second. Forget about 1st two structures. Here is where you aim:
Note the first set of two horizontal ice planks on the far structure. They are the two that have a small solid ice block in between them. That’s the area you are aiming at, but for a one bird shot to work, your goal is not really the ice (though it helps).
Your goal is to destroy the sand blocks around it. Destroying the upper sand block will make the far structure fall to the left. Destroying the sand blocks below the ice planks will allow the falling structure to hit and knock down the first structure. This is the key, because if both sand blocks below the ice remain it will block the falling structure from falling to the left.
Everything destroyed. I repeated this a second time in about 10 minutes, so it’s definitely not a fluke.
Here is a screenshot:
I’ve repeated the 1 bird solution, this time yielding nearly 139k…
…only this time I was able to capture a screenshot that shows the trajectory of the 1st bird, as well as when to split it. Much easier than trying to explain it.
click here for a SCREENSHOT that depicts the trajectory of Bird 1 as well as when and where to split it.
THANK YOU LOOX, I got 140k with your method.
141050 with thanks to loox
Thanks, that screen shot simplified what needed to be done. Got 133800 in a 1 bird shot. There were probably 10 other times when everything was gone except for 1 caged bird. Very frustrating.
Awesome strat @loox…Thank you!!! I still haven’t been able to get it with one birdie but I can see now the possibility is there!
Also for those of you that haven’t gotten the one birdie yet and are looking for a good place to aim the second bird to get the birds in the first structure and gasoline…send yellow bird in a very high arch to come down thru the glass plank above the two gas cans and this should take care of the first structure.
Thanks for the detailed strat loox! Been trying this one for awhile. Finally got a 1-birder, but alas only 134k so far…
loox, thanks for the screenshot. I’ve found that if I aim at a slightly higher angle and split just after the top of the mountain (when zoomed out all the way) that the shortest of the three blues will crash through the ice plank supporting the first structure and that the furthest blue will hit the sandblock supporting the furthest structure. That and a little luck seems to yield a pretty consistent 1-birder. Luck of falling debris from that point…
Thanks for the screen-shot, this is the way to describe a strategy in a proper manner.
@loox awesome strategy, raised my score by 5k, thank you.
Thanks!
I use your strategy. My score up 5K!

I actually used the same strat as @loox posted before checking the thread. Those sand locks have to go to have any chance at a one birder.
139080/1
many thx to @loox for the great strat.
here my video:
https://youtu.be/LztlonbFp2Q
Used the same strategy as @loox, thank you. Got the one bird solution a number of times by hitting the sand blocks. There is a bit of luck in the sequence of debris destruction and debris falling.
thank you loox, first try worked on your method!
Lol I thought I was the only one with the one bird trick.135550 blue bird at medium level take out sand block on far tower it collapsed the rest.:)
@Kathy, that only happens on iPhones, it has to, I’m surprised anyone can even see the Blue Bird on such a miniscule screen, I’d even go as far as saying that on those tiny devices all you need to do is close your eyes and tap the screen, LOL. Talk soon.
@WereWolf69. The blues are very hard to seee..lol try space the shot line mixes with the stars ..I would probably be a great shooter if I had a bigger screen ;)
See ya soon..
ohh what only happens on iPhone?
@Kathy, those wild 1-Bird shots. You know, sometimes I’m waiting for the game to end and tally up, and I’m waiting and waiting, until I realize that in the slingshot is a tiny Blue Bird that has to be seen with a magnifying glass, and I still have one more shot left. Talk soon.
Over 140k on first attempt with two birds. On second attempt, got 141360 with one bird. Aimed the bird with a shallower arc and tapped it close to the crane. At the split, the uppers bird hits the sand block at the end of the crane arm, the middle and bottom birds hits the horizontal glass plates. This caused the vertical part of the crane to fall forward taking almost everything out.
Note: to get the high score, the two gas cans needs to also explode which helps to destroy most of the sand blocks and wood members around it.
Exactly the same way 141150, but it requires also a lot of luck. My succes ratio of finishing with 1 bird was roughly 2% (2 out of 100 attempts) and achieving over 140K took more, then 600 attempts. So I consider this a pretty hard way…
My method was to have the same 1st shot in the video, but the cages in the middle broke. Then I shot the yellow bird in the same shot as the video but blew up the gas cans.
This is also a 2-Birder, first shoot the Blue Bird at a medium arc and split just after reaching the glass taking out the glass and sandblock (just like in the original video), the crane should tumble to the left and release all the birds in the right and middle section.
Now shoot your Yellow Bird at a slightly downward angle just over the spotlight and through the 2 vertical wood blocks to release the birds in the lower section and Yellow Bird should continue until hitting the gas cans, which will in turn release the birds in the upper section.
Thanks @BirdLeader welcome back :) ty @Amslimfordy ;) it’s tough when I come home from Work and try to reply to notification ..I can’t imagine how you do it slim..but ty for reply :)
I got a notification that @WereWolf69 mentioned me in a comment ..the comment was in my notification ..but not here…and I did not have the notify me button checked off here:/ strange I also got another one earlier saying. @Amslimfordy commented on meet the team. I went there and there was no new comment? Not sure why this is.happening but I would like .to reply to WereWolf69 he was telling me something about iPhone I guess slim will see this since I mentioned him;) ty oh I just clicked the notify below..
Was it this comment? It’s possible his comment was in moderation and the notification was sent out early. Not sure.
The WereWolf one is above, as BirdLeader linked. You will be notified if someone @ mentions you on ANY page, regardless of whether you have subscribed to it or not.
I did comment on the “Meet the Team” page, but I was only testing something and deleted the comment soon thereafter.
I shoot for 3 hours and score a 1 bird kill for only 133460 points, kinda spoils the appetite for more playing. I did the first shot as in the video and everything started falling down but there was a lot of debris not destroyed.
Its been ages since anyone commented here, but just in case anyone is still looking for help, I have a hint. The strat above by loox is best I think, but I couldn’t work out the trajectory, and the screenshot won’t open in my iPad. So, if you have the same problem try this:
Fully zoomed in (everything as big as possible) – Pull the first BB down in the slingshot to prepare for a high lob. In the background you should see a patch of paler green, and as you pull the slingshot closer to the wooden support, this patch will become a small round spot. Don’t obscure this spot with the slingshot. Release and tap to split BB as soon as he leaves the sling. Rightmost small blue should take out the top sand-block under the crane, the middle one the 2 lower sand-blocks, and the last one the horizontal glass panel in the left. This should cause the crane to collapse, and the petrol cans to blow up the left structure.
Takes a few tries to get it just right, but this way I got a 1-birder for almost 140k. Repeatable too.
