One strategy for Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers level 24-5 is to arc Blue birds through the icy base of the right tower. As it falls to the left, the TNT can detonate against the lower structure to clear the level. The score in the video below is 94,600.
If you have a different strategy for completing this level feel free to leave a comment below.
80k 2*
81k 3*
Used the strategy in the video but kept playing to obtain more points. The 3Ps really do work.
The debris destruction varies with the Blue Birds on how they hit the glass block and how the right tower falls to destroy wood, glass and stone.
Keep flinging and enjoy the results of a higher points total.
A complete ridiculous level. In my opinion there’s only one strat possible here, that’s the same as the video shows (thanks @sal9). The outcome is always a surprise. I played this game a few 100 times, each time other score, they vary from 86-98k (in my case)
Alternative method, aim the initial shot through the balloon onto the front vertical timber of the tower. Tower collapses, debris hits the TNT, and the cart rolls and hits the front tower, getting the pig, without the TNT going off. Score — 95.7K
You are probably referring to level 23-4?
There’s only one basic strategy, but much possible variation in angle of lob and point of release.
I came heartbreakingly close to breaking 101k with a lower angle lob.

One key to high score here = getting the middle horizontal stone slab to slide left on top of the rolling bluebird.
I agree that there’s only one viable strategy here, but you can increase your odds of getting a good score with it by aiming so the bottom blue bounces off the plane’s tail and follows top blue into the tower. As it collapses, the two blues become feathery little ball bearings, making the tower collapse with more force. They can also make the stone plank slide off afterward, which helps crush debris remaining from the first collapse.
Nice description @kelani, ‘feathery little ball bearings’, I like that! It’s what I had been doing but it’s now done with more merriment. Thanks for the chuckle
Ditto on enjoying the “feathery little ball bearings,” @kelani! Nice to get a laugh on a repetitive level!
Tip for better scores: don’t kill the most right pig, just break the glass. This makes the upper part of the most right construction roll over the pig to the left, killing the pig at the end. The falling concrete gives better destruction below.
@bernersenn this is how I’ve been flinging this one. If the blue bird stays where it is after it breaks the glass then both the bird & the pig can act as a fulcrum together to roll the stone plank off as well.
The trajectory I used is in the screenshot, I use the clouds in the background to help with the split point.

@karen68 , thanks for the extended explanation. Strong flinging!
@Karen68 Nice strategy. All these ball bearings and fulcrums should make the engineers happy. :)
On PC the background is different, but Rovio thoughtfully left us two references in the background. Zoom out full and aim so the sling is close to the left corner of the bright green grass on the background mountain. You want to see daylight between them. Now make the sling’s parallel to the angle of the background tower’s base. Now look above the plane. In the background is a watch tower with a ladder. Split above the left half of the tower’s roof. If your aim is right, you should fly about 1/4″ above it.
@karen68, thanks for the strategy, just got my score up to 99,030
I’m finding that a higher trajectory shot seems to much more consistently return higher scores than a lower trajectory first shot. This level also seems for no apparent reason to return scores that can vary significantly from one toss to another for seemingly similar amounts of destruction.
I come back around to this level every once in awhile to put in a few flings looking to add a few extra points to my best score. Wondering if and when this level might make it back to the Challenge again?
Well @uncle-b, after 5 1/2 years of waiting, your wish has become true. There is more to this level than first meets the eye. I expect to see the high score fall.
I just scored 102,290 points using just the blue birds.
The only advice I can offer is to try to get the topmost bluebird to land on the ledge, in place of the vertical ice pillar, by the lower pig in the far right tower.
This way, the horizontal stone piece that supports the upper portion of the tower can roll down the hill.
This gave me a score of 82,290 points, with 2 birds left unused.

Good luck and happy flinging to all !!!
One bird, played like everybody else, trying to follow advice of @karen68. After two hours of flinging, I got lucky and scored over 82k before the remaining birds counted. @sweetp – my screenshot https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/annach/album/picture/27466/
I am of course very grateful to @meanguy and @annach for proving my prediction correct. I tried as they did but to no avail. I may well return to try another day.
Good flinging, keep safe!
Interesting to note that the last time this level came up for the Challenge was the last day that I worked in the office before Covid struck and I started working from home. Although I continued working for the same company for four more years, I never went back, not even for one day. There is of course no connection between that fact and my improved Angry Birds scores from that day on…
😂
99k but the TNT didn’t explode. Not sure how much that cost me.
I’ve had the same several times sadly. Improved my score by circa 500 by using BS on auto mode. Don’t know why I bother really. RNG 😂
Now this is most odd. I reverted back to version 4.2.0 (which must have been one of the versions that a lot of people were playing back in the day when most these comments were written) and ran it using Nox. In that configuration the left hand side always self collapses giving a head start of up to 42k. This is almost certainly an advantage and ought to pave the way to a new top score, given patience. I clocked up just over 100k after only a few attempts so watch this space…
Tied for top spot after a bit of R&R on this level, thanks to the self-collapse.
