Our strategy for Poached Eggs level 2-13 is to fire the Yellow bird head-on into the wooden block on the left side. Fire the Black bird into the newly-formed gap, detonating as deep into the structure as possible. If necessary, use the next Black bird to pop any remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 70,460.
Version 2022:
80k
1st bird as same as video
2nd b/b- Actually more the deeper the more the debris yields me less points instead what I did was to actually land it on the left columns above the pig and there was debris flying around.
I found that the farther the 2nd bird went to the right edge of the pig chamber before exploding, the higher my score was. Breaking through the floor plank, however is BAD, because you don’t get as high a collateral damage.
I second that! This way I got 87450!
Here’s the video
me too score was 88240
Thanks E-Star, with your vid I got 91,390!
Thanks for the great tip @e-star! Got me above average.
@e-star, I couldn’t agree more with your method, but it’s not really helping me to go above my old score of 88220. Another thing I’ve noticed is that this is a typical rinse and repeat cycle level. Thank you anyhow for sharing your strat with us.
@e-star you ROCK!
4 years later! Wow, who knew right! Thanks @knichy you make me *blush*
1st bird high-arc to the woods
2nd one low-arc in lowest stone board. If the bird manages to kepp rolling after flatting the pig, while further, the higher score to get.
P.D.: I’m just in average score
Strategy as presented in the videos of AMslimfordy and e-star above. Increased the score a little.
I find it easiest to break the wood block with the Yellow, then have the Black bird follow the same trajectory, while just breaking one or two blocks. Collateral damage upon collapse does the rest of the work for you.
First shot, same as video, but make sure both stone planks fall to open up a clear shot for bomb, if not reset. Score after first bird was 7k
Bomb bird sent in a little higher than I would have liked, but it ended well, nearly destroying everything, for a score of 92,700!
Good call on that, but I’ve yet to reach your score, even with all the resets it’s giving me a hard time to accumulate collateral points.
Today I was able to raise the score a 1000 points at a time, went from 88220 to the above posted score, but I don’t think it’ll go any higher.
Seems you get a better score by not zooming Ol’ Yeller bird at the wooden target. Imagine that. Aloha.
indeed for the stones to roll off the bird, the bird must be there (and not have bounced away). apart from the 1st, i was also flinging the 2nd a bit differently from the videos, making it break through the horizontal slab in the second layer, to make the bird fall on top of (but not break through) the one in the first layer. if things go right a stone then pushes it further to the right, into the corner, before it explodes. i aim by letting the sling almost completely cover the tip of the right brow of the bird. this yielded 70k+ scores every 10 minutes or so for me, with my best attempt thusfar (93,710) leaving quite some debris on the right.
Actually, the harder you hit with Yellow, the more unstable the structure becomes.
God @werewolf your new avatar is scaring.
@werewolf69 does have a really horrifying avatar this time! aaaahhhhhh…my granny goose avatar nearly ran off the board. I think that is wolfie’s intention! He wants to scare all of us away. Not taking that one. My avatar just got some silver spray in a super soaker – Back Wolfie – Back! LOL.
@GypsyBird — Thanks for the new tidbit for the day. I’d heard of the effect of silver bullets, but didn’t know about silver spray. Much friendlier.
You bet @mvnla2! I figured we need to keep this non-lethal so the silver spray is just a mild and temporary deterrent. LOL.
That’s a lot of fame and recognition I’m getting from posting an artist’s rendition of an angry werewolf, I may have to pay him royalties if this keeps up.
My original avatar is a real life picture of me during full moon every month, and no one ever made a fuss about it, I’ll leave the one I’m using now for a few more days to scare up some more interesting comments from my fellow players.
Happy Hunting! Just don’t do it around me, I might confuse you for a sheep or chicken.
@surfcow. I’ve hit the speed thrust on YB and he will stay there and when he disappears the other two stone planks will roll off – high as just over 7k with first bird; however, I did just now gain about 4k more points to my final score by just tossing YB without excelerating him. 1st bird yielded just over 5k and the bomb bird went right in the pocket. I manually popped him this time. Great suggestion to not tap YB after the fling! Thanks.
My higher scores also came from not accelerating the yellow bird, thank you @surfcow. I’ve also been aiming a little higher with the 2nd bird, going through the plank above the 1st little piggie. Either way, this is still a level where you have to keep flinging til you get the right collateral damage.
Thank you @surfcow and @karen68 using both your tips and the refresh button several hundred times it paid off.
Congrats on Top Score @doug! I honestly did think anyone would top the previous score. Great job! Enjoy your new puppy!
thx to @surfcow and @karen68 for tips

U can keep hitting the very bottom untl the hole thing calapses
Fling Chuck into the first wood block on the left. Fling Bomb into around the same spot. This should cause the whole structure to fall over and I got a score of 86,920 with this method.
This score I got using Classics. Again it might be a bit easier on there due to wood destruction, but basically I did the same things as said above. 1st bird I used a tiny bit above the wood block but still breaking it with three stone blocks falling down. That helps you to make a little bit of room for Bomb to get in and explode. 2nd bird launch into the area and land on the first layer of stone but better not to break the first stone. Most levels it’s good to go on the bottom but I’ve noticed not for this level surprisingly to me. But if you aim Bomb at the correct place you should gets lots of destruction from wood and stone resulting in higher scores.

@discobeaks both of your Classics tips are spot on. Hitting just above the wood block on the first shot can destabilize the entire structure in a helpful way provided it doesn’t collapse before the second shot. For the second shot, I tried to get Bomb to snuggle up to the middle horizontal wood block without breaking through the stone slab, just as you suggest. I let him explode on his own to allow time for more stone to accumulate around him first. 98k so far.

I managed to get over 1k above your score! Basically I used the same strat on classics but I managed to break over 1k up! I never thought I would raise the score that high up. Close to 100k but a little far off. But I don’t care, I can’t believe I went over it by over 1k. I don’t see this score increasing higher than this due to how little debris there is left but I am happy with it! Feels like a big achievement in this levels potential!
