The Angry Birds team released a brand new holiday song today that was composed exclusively for the Angry Birds Wreck the Halls holiday special. Performed by Finnish singer Osmo Ikonen the Angry Birds Peace Song implores the birds and pigs to put aside their differences this holiday season. Can’t we all just get along?! Let’s hope they don’t heed this advice.

Actually, I can’t stand the song. It’s rather annoying. Can’t put my finger on it, but had to stop about 45 seconds into it as it was eating at my nerves. I sure hope they don’t make that the default background on anything.
That jazzy R&B style isn’t for everyone, myself included. But, listening to it as a one-off, I’ll call it mildly interesting, and leave it at that.
I like this song, maybe they could add it to next christmas theme.
It would be kinda awkward that a person would be singing in this game’s background music, but maybe they’d add it as a bonus on Christmas day 2011 or something.

Nice song, but just one problem: Birds getting along with pigs… just wrong, after all, the birds sacrificed HUNDREDS of their lives to save 3 eggs and now they want to get along with the pigs… that’s right bird leader, hope they don’t heed that advice.
The AB Peace song is great. It has a rhythm and a beat. Let’s admit this, that Osmo Ikonen can sing.
A voice which is a cross between Michael Buble and Frank Sinatra.
On the other hand, the message of the song is another story. It is one that all ABs fans will not agree with or support. That I can understand.
Overall, the song is enjoyable.
