Our strategy for Mighty Hoax level 4-11 is to fire the first White bird just above the first pig, bombing as late as possible. With the next White bird, try to destroy the horizontal wooden block supporting the middle of the structure. Doing so will clear all remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 90,070.
Version 2022:
The video method works really well. I just run that first white bird a touch higher than the video, giving a bit more time to launch the egg.
One bird a hair above the first pig and it all collapses for 99,720. Same as truck driver said.
Managed this one with one pig using the method above and a bit of luck. Apparently if you fire the first white just right it destroys all birds, but with just 83780 points. Three stars however and that was good enough :)
I keep getting in the lower 90 range using one birds, not sure how to get 10k more. Would be nice for somebody to share some hints.
Just look at the video, you can clearly get over 100k with 1 bird. Just need the lucky fall of debris (= lots of tries). Btw this can be done in 2 ways, I’m not sure which of those is best in the long run. The first is like the video, 2nd is very low (as close to the wood as possible), dropping the egg just left of the first stone block. I don’t remember if I got my high with the first or second.
@ Vaporizer: Thanks for your tip on dropping the egg just left of the first stone block. My high score is 90,590 My problem is I had to use 2 birds because the first white bird killed all of the pigs, it did not penetrate the pit where the chest, diamonds, etc are. Is it just luck to wipe out that bottom plank to get down there or should I try an arc’d aim? I’m aiming straight across & it’s not busting up that board.
@Shelly i had to aim at a little bit of an arc , just slightly to come down and drop egg, on pig otherwise had a hard time getting egg to drop on pig ..took a while but i ended up with a lucky bounce off top of tower with the dead wb dropping to break plank and all ham and chest…gl:)
@kathy, if i can choose which bird i’d rather not playing with, it’ll definitely be White! Those guys are so NOT cool! They’re consistently (as a negative one) whining on something upon launch (read – ugly, unpatriotic birds), have magnificently (as a negative one) awful curving range, and a (defo a negative one) bad habit to NOT release the eggs as i wish them to (ummm, that or i have a miserable hand-eye coordination). THEY’RE SOOO NOT COOL (anger management needed – *while looking at @lesleyg*)… :(
@birdjo definitely not your hand eye coordinates wb always gives me trouble ..she’s selfish with those eggs!!
*LOL at @kathy*… :D
Hey @mecstaveler yep I got it alooong time ago lol so i get no puppy:(
It was pure luck following the video; )
Good luck everyone; )
@kathy hey, I came in to see what the challenge is, and you have high score!! Cool!
Boy, I’d sure like to drop an egg on Matilda’s head! She really is waaay too greedy with her eggs. GAH!
@mecstaveler I also always have trouble with WB I think everyone does!! I got my score on a tiny phone so i don’t think it matter.right now I’m trying on my tablet.
I think if you arc herva tad bit and you gotta tap before her fat belly get to close its a difficult shot! ! Good luck; )
@kathy I get so irritated with her when she doesn’t drop an egg and just sits, “Plop” on a brick with her big bottomus (Having an effect on nothing)…. It’s soooooo frustrating! Congrats on high score!
I hear ya @mecstaveler she sure is a Sstubborn biii..rd stingy with that egg
Thanks I’m glad i got to keep my#1 :)
@kathy I just joined the challenge and see your high score still stands! Awesome! I am having getting wb (Matilda?) to drop her egg!!! As always. It’s like, for me, the response to touch is delayed. It makes it so HARD to get the wb to drop her egg when I need her to. I wonder if the bird responds better on a PC? It could, of course, just be me and not a touch screen issue. Good luck!
I think it was more of a personal preference, @vaporizer. As long as we trigger the egg-drop at exact spot, the damage caused by the explosion and the bouncing direction afterward is comparable (luck factor aside). I personally prefer high-arc shots, releasing the eggs on the way down. It feels like we have that “extra margin for errors” this way compared to direct low-arcs towards given structure (please note that White’s main treat is the toppling bounce, not the egg bomb which can only cause very minor damage). Ironically, my current 96k was with a low-arc one… :D
I wonder if @Kathy remembers how she did this?
Hi bill..i actolually followed the video…but i got luck with the wb body bouncing down and breaking the wooden plank..hardly repeatable was just dumb luck :) gl
Thanks, as always
1 bird – 93 K [good enuff 4 me} dropped just left of the 1rst pig
I have to thank you, @kathy. If you hadn’t chosen this as the level of the day at the Bloated Pig, I wouldn’t have tried this one again :).
One bird-100990. Drop egg bomb on the lower thin horizontal stone block on the left (the one just above the pig to the right of helmet pig). If the bomb destroys the stone and crumbles the thick stone under the pig, the debris can all fall down and kill all the pigs. I’ve gotten a few one birders with scores in the 90s and finally 100k. Thanks again, kathy. Your encouragement is great!!
I hope this link is correct. If not, go to the forum page and click on the Bloated Pig! It’s a great place to visit :)

@wanda @kathy chose this level for the challenge? I always wondered how the challenge levels are picked. I agree with @wands…never in a million years would I be putting myself through this level again, except for the fact it’s the Challenge level! @kathy , you did good, picking this level as it certainly is a “challenge”!
@mecstaveler no I didn’t choose it this time. .the challenge originated at the bloated pig where the 5 team members would take turns choosing level of the day. Since then the Admins art the Nest incorporated it as the challenge so actually @Ripsy who is part of bp team picks the levels months inn advance and submits them to the admins.
Hope that isn’t to confusing:/
Uhmm this is the second time this has been level of the day.
I choose it way back the first time. .@mecstaveler
I find the key to a one birdie is to come in right at the vertical middle wood plank and try to drop bomb on the middle horizontal stone plank that sits just at the top right of first helmet pig’s head. You want bomb to hit horizontal stone plank tip sticking out above helmet pig’s head and have wb hit the vertical wood plank there in the middle. This will usually cause alot of destruction in the middle and hope a cement block breaks thru bottom wood.
@lesleyg are we on the same page, or what?? :)
@wanda…that’s so CRAZY!!! when I wrote mine…yours was not here yet? We must have been typing almost at the same time or maybe my page wasn’t refreshed…great minds!!! I copied and pasted mine in the BP right after I wrote it and then I saw your post there, lol…Crazy!!!
I think mine was delayed because I included the link to the BP :)
It was because you had two url links in your post. A mention also counts as a link.
We do our best to approve them in a timely maner.
Thanks, @sal9. I figured it was something like that :). I’m glad I got the copy and paste part figured out correctly! You guys all do an amazing job keeping up with everything on the site. Thanks for all of the hard work.
Two-birders here can score pretty well with a method similar to the one-birder. If you release the egg just to the left of the first pig, you can get the white bird’s carcass to fall quite repeatably down onto the damaged stone block and wood plank, breaking through both and clearing most of the level. You should be left with a debris field that looks much like what the video shows after the first bird, but with the hams and the two damaged stone blocks on the corner all gone. Dropping the egg low onto this corner will then wipe out all but about five blocks from the level.
96k with a 2-birder is about all we can get from this level, @austinrhl. A 1-birder maxed-out at approx. 106k… :)
Can someone help me to get mighty eagle feather from this one? I have destroyed everything several times and can only get 98%, so I dont really know what should I do…
The video method helped me a lot, added 13k to my high. Above average now, so I’m happy!
One shot….white bird to near right of tower, drop egg, and tower collapses inward, destroying almost everything. 99K on Facebook, No Powerups used!!
Yay, after 2 weeks of horrible horrible scores, I got a good score today. Leading at the moment – FOR NOW! Not a lot of commentary to add to the 1 bird solution as discussed by @lesleyg and @wanda above. HOWEVER….
One thing I can say, is that I went for the flatter approach with Mathilda rather than a high lob. I generally prefer the high lob, because I tend to fly into the structures a lot with Mathilda. That is because I want to wait to the very last possible moment. As said above, the high lob tends to take that problem away.
One further thing that I had some success with today, was, with the flatter approach, TO FLING MATHILDA SLOWER. That also aided for Mathilda to become part of the destruction more, rather than flying away into the open air. Helped a lot getting 2 birders over 90k.

Great flinging @jaydee !! Wtg!!
Thanks @kathy . Your score is mind blowing. Not likely to be beaten. You RULE!!!! ;-)
Thanks @jaydee it blows my mind even! One of my very very few top scores . It was pure luck!! Ssowwy everyone it was hard to beat:(
Sorry @kathy, I was lucky enough to beat your score wich lasted quite a while, and by 20 points only!!! ?
Following the post “levels worth another try” from @bonneypattycat, I decided to play again this one and after 20 min I got a score of 103610.
I am not sure this level is easier than previously. I have the feeling it mainly depends on the “L factor”. I did not do anything particular but to send the white bird flat and detonated it just before impact with the left pig. Then you just to have to pray that the bottom wood pieces break. The bottom right part remained intact so 106k is probably feasible in my opinion.
Here is a screenshot of my highscore: https://imageshack.us/i/pbIqUE2Op
Good luck!
I have been sitting out today, thinking I hadn’t unlocked this level. I just realized I was looking at level 5-11, not level 4-11…I went back a screen in the game to see if I had unlocked the level, and, oh yeah. The whole of level 4 has 3-stars. All the wasted time..my ability to get confused still surprises me! Ack!
Awws @mecstaveler that stinks:(
Better luck tomorrow:)
This level is insane. No Matter where you put the egg nothing happens. I think this level is totally up to the AB-gods. I’m going to barbecue some pork tonight and see what’s gonna happen
my score is 78,190
The one bird method works very well in Classics. 104k

Well this is pretty embarrassing to post, but I did manage to beat my high score by 89 points on this level for today’s Challenge, using the “low and late, repeat, repeat” one bird strat.

Congrats to @karen68 for that blow out score!
Oops. Forgot the @sweetp
Don’t think there is a video showing the 1 bird solution so I made one. It scored 101k but as you will see there is a lot more in it and if you get lucky maybe a 🐶
https://youtu.be/_ddHdjwo6fc
107520 with one bird.
Thanks a lot to @steviep147 for the video. I have not played this level for years and it was a perfect reminder on how to do it :-)
Aim low, drop late, break the horizontal stone plank and… restart. Most of the time. Pretty much every time.
Here is the final result.
And this is the highscore screenshot.
All the screenshots are also available in high res here in one set.
@sweetp
Great score 👍glad to help. I think I can do it but I have no time.
Thanks for the video @steviep147 and @asher @karen68 for the descriptions.
One birder as others described on AB Classic, dropping the egg late and low over the thick wooden block to the left of the first pig.
Got a really lucky collapse for 113999. Only 2 cracked blocks left.

I don’t use this platform but very well done on a terrific score. 😁
@karen68 It was so much fun to watch your video! Right up there with the best AB clears ever!
@catsnbirds one heck of a lucky collapse for sure!
107110/1 still using ABO not Classics. Too late for a pup. Not sure there is much between the two for mortals. Shame you didn’t get 1 more point @karen68.
