Like the video, Big Red did more damage than usual, did not use th3 last bird.

Like the video except I used the first bird differently. Instead of going in a high arc I found that it was more effective to go through the neck just below the balloons. By doing so it is easier to lift the stones and release the caged bird. The rest was down to Lady Luck.

I have scored several 238,000+ following this method (with a high of 244,480 so far):

Fist bird — fling Stella so she breaks the bone just in front of the first pig on the lower left – should pick up lower stones and red fruit thingy, usually looking for 28,000+ here (33,000+ if I kill the small pig above the red fruit by tower) — https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/realfish/album/picture/24413/

Second bird, this is the CRUCIAL shot — you can fling Terrance so he hits all balloons but does not touch any of the stones or planks, he continues on and demolishes the stone tower just to the left of Matilda — https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/realfish/album/picture/24414/

Here is where you have to decide based on the damage done by Terrance – one time I did not use any more birds because one of the stone balls bounced and hit the top area where the TNT is and everything came crashing down, more often than not I use the third bird like the video, there is usually no need to use the last bird (Mathilda) — https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/realfish/album/picture/24415/

Thank you for the detailed post. Obtained 5k more in points. Found this second bird a challenge in only hitting the balloons but it does work and the stones bouncing off the pad does a lot of destruction to the right side. The last bird was for bonus points.

253230 with 3 birds using @realfish strategy ;-)

The only real special thing is that it was my first attempt.
I spent 4-5 shots to align Stella to get the 33k mentioned, and then Terence was ok from the start, and the Blues were perfect.

First time something like that happened to me. I could use it more often.

I’ve been following the strategy outlined by @realfish (thanks!!!) above but man is that pig in the bottom right corner tough to get consistently. So far the best I can manage is 219900/4 which is 10K below average.

@Jtb I’m have the same issue with that Stubborn little Oinker on the far right! I’ve been trying @jrsquonk first shot with Stella, then proceeding with @realfish strat, I did manage above average, thanks to both Flingers mentioned!
@Asher Nice Flinging, also been trying to practice with Stella, but not doing me any good!

As I go along they just keep getting harder 😕

@kathy So 2.5 years later or so I’m back at this level again for the daily challenge. Funny how some things never change. At least we’re still above average with our current scores!

249850/3. The first shot with this strat is different. I was messing around with @realfish‘s strat trying to maximize points when I discovered this. I aimed for the end of the vertical bone immediately to the right of the left bottom pig. If you hit it juuussst right, usually after killing the pig, you destroy that bone and Stella drops into the slot occupied by that bone. I’ve gotten as much as 43K after the first shot with this strat. Then, I proceeded with the @realfish second shot and the usual third shot that everyone seems to be using. I never took out the upper right structure with debris from the second shot.
