Angry Birds Jurassic Pork Level 36-14 Walkthrough

This shall evermore be known as, “The giant prehistoric dragonfly level”.
We clear it in two for 144K, but there is great potential for a 1-birda here. Toss the first red into the gap over the dragonfly’s eye and watch the pieces fall as red continues to bounce off of the pad and knock off more bits. The pigs were all gone, but there was still a big chunk left so we bounced a second red off of the pad and into the remains to clear the level.

@realfish Thanks! This one really takes a lot of skill.
I used the same shot as in the walkthrough by the way, for anyone still trying.

Decided to keep trying and lo and behold — top score. Here is a screen shot of trajectory for a one birder for 154060, underneath it shows high core…

Thanks for the head-up @realfish. Same score as you, which unless it falls down by itself, is going to be it. The only thing I don’t understand is how @angrychicken missed out on 140 points!

154160/1. On my very first try. Shot red into the gap just above the eye and lucked out I guess.

As an aside here @admins With everything, and I mean everything, destroyed how can scores be more than 154180? Just asking!

@reinehr could you please proof your score?

@bernersenn Thanks. I’m not saying it’s not possible by the way just that when this sort of thing happens I would expect a screen shot of the event or else no high score. In this scenario it seems quite clear that any score above 154,150 is not actually possible without assistance. Prove me wrong I say!

Before I got the 1 birder, my 2 birder score was 144300, so 154300 is possible. Max or not? We can’t see what’s remaining outside of the screen area…

Small variations are possible based on how many times blocks are damaged prior to being completely destroyed. A lucky bounce here or there could pick up an extra 10 or 20 points per block.

One bird solution…red bird in the gap above the left side cat’s eye. It appears one of the keys to a higher score is in the bounce of the bird not to go to the left and destroy everything in the middle prior to the last pig.
I can provide proof to my score even though it is not the high score.

154120 with 1 bird. That was tough to get but fun to watch. I think the trick to higher scores is how many times red makes contact. Since there’s complete destruction that’s the only thing I can think of.

@Jtb Nice score lol! I guess 154k is the going rate, depends on how much patience one has to increase in rank, I’m settling lol, too frustrating when red bounces Off the bouncy!
Congrats to all who had the patience to get the max score 🐣

I suspect that the variation in total destruction scores has something to do with hidden features that may be worth points. For example, when the piggie drops straight down, it bounces off of something in mid-air that can’t be seen. Falling objects and sometimes birds get deflected when they strike something that can’t be seen. I suspect that these unseen obstacles have something to do with “pins” holding up the dragonfly structure. These pins are visible on other levels, but not this one.

By jrsquonk (@jrsquonk)Score: 154,260

OK, I just confirmed my suspicions. The bird was flying through open space. It hit something unseen that deflected it, and 20 points got added to the score. Oh, and at least one of the “pins” occasionally appears for a short time. I suspect that four of the pins can be found on each wing base. If you picture the two triangles that form the wing base as a square, I think there is a pin at the center of each square. There are also pins somewhere under the dragonfly head, and another one way up high under the tail. There may be more.

Following the walkthrough to try and get above average

Rank: Avian Overlord with 17070 points

I’m sending the bird a bit higher, roughly to the right half of the white triangle whose low right corner is just above the vertical mandible of the dragonfly. It seems that this gives 1-bird total desctruction more frequently than using the “gap above the eye” strategy.
