Walkthrough video and non power-up strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level 5 Week 80, which began the week of November 25th, 2013. Our strategy for this level is to fling Orange just above the stone tree, so that he lands on the wooden blocks on the main structure. Orange should slice through and detonate the tnt, destroying all the pigs. The score in the video below is 102,460.

Is the Stone Crusher much better than the Golden Sling?
This is a repeat level. No P/U’s.. Orange Bird through left side of structure. If lucky, should blow TNT. Yellow bird to clean up!!100.4k
110 one bird. no p/u, gold sling (although works with normal sling too.)
put mouse arrow on tip of right yellow bird’s beak … expand manually. if you hit the right timing, massive destructions.
Different method. Gold Sling, aim Orange Bird on an angle, so that is cuts through stone tree, and breaks wood support of structure. Inflate Manually….if done in correct spot of structure, everything blows sky high. 1 bird No P/U’s. 123.6k

Gold Sling/Orange Bird on an angle through the stone tree, and into the left wood support/left room. Inflate manually before the bird gets to the wall with the TNT. BOOM……Everything explodes, and blows sky high!! 135K No P/U’s

I gave it a try for about 20 times, 3 times everything went sky high. On the last one, just about everything became history. Glass tree gone, stone tree..just a few bits left…and the rest…almost everything gone.

Terribletom–I’ve tried this a million times and can get a good explosion but can’t get the StoneTree (or other tree). I can’t score over 115k. What am I doing wrong?! BP Thanks!

I found it easier to come in with Orange through the roof, he falls on the inside of the first room, through the ladder and up next to the blocks holding the wall up. I found manual activation really throws everything into the air. Got 115,120 with one birds that way.
Orange bird with high arc at the middle, worked better for me if it landed somewhere near the wooden steps. One bird and 106k.
I agree with this – had a Lucky shot: OB near the steps but went right taking out most there, but a piece of Wood fell on left piggie – 109k w/o PU.

If you let the bird land on the the table just left of the stairs you can get higher scores… got nearly 120k
You got it exactly right there and the timing of the blow is also important.125k like this.my bird looked like getting off the table as soon as it landed so i blew it up manually and a one birder with 95k on board.the table is the key.I say anything b/w 85-92k with first bird is more than enough although room for improvement.

Well, you can ask your friend or simply follow the power up walkthrough in the first comment.
My tournament buddies are okay with using bird-coin-purchased slings, but no pu,s. PC 124,650. First bird stone sling, flinging the bird just over the ice tree into the stone one popping it manually as it enters between branches. This can completely decimate both trees, but will leave the structure untouched. You will be hoping for major damage to both trees with the stone tree parts ramming into the structure leaving you a good second shot.
If you’ve got a semi-clear shot to the TNT use the wood sling and dart your second bird into the TNT. There wasn’t much debris when it was done.
I’ve seen the stone tree parts get pretty close to detonating the TNT on the first shot which would cause a one birder with large destruction potential, but I may never.
The regular sling will not do the damage you need on the first shot. The best it can do to the stone tree is cause some cracks and fling it. These three slings actually make a difference in some circumstances.
Repeatably, upped score 200 points.
Normal sling, no PU’s. Just need to activate ob before landing. One bird + many attempts = nice score 123610. See screen below.

I aimed right above the stone tree, orange bird went to the middle. inflated manually, and seemed to have hit a sweet spot… everything blew up, got a score from 146.960
140,970…2 birds….first orange bird was with a KS just above stone tree and into building blowing TNT and most of debris.
Second bird was wingman with SS aimed the two trees which weren’t that damaged to get the rest of the points.
120720 doing just like the video – no powerups.
129 by aiming into the stone tree – bird continued on into the structure and all hell broke loose
125,820 normal sling, one bird. Aim a high arc through the wooden part of the roof and land on the pig sitting on the bench (not the one in the chair). Once it hits the pig/bench it should then land near the stairs and the stone wall. If it lands on the stairs and breaks them it will not work. But once it is next to the stairs/walls you inflate and everything goes boom. Should yield 114k easily. 125 is a little more difficult. Same strategy as @alexwarrior I believe. Platform: PC
Also, I could see this having more success on tablets – especially if you fling it at the very tip of the stone tree which should cause it to break into the other room, allowing for a chance hit the sweet “kill button” spot. Will report back if I have more success on a tablet.

Fling the orange bird up high so it goes through the glass structure on the right and it will inflate and destroy almost everything, my score is 126,890

@bambenio, just try Gold Sling, SS/KS Orange bird, same method but manually inflate before the bird hits the wall with the TNT!!! Most of everything is vaporized. Blast goes up and outwards!! Happy Flinging!!

score 131010 using only the orange bird and no PU. using the stone slingshot, pull back and keep the slingshot level. orange bird will shoot through the stone tree, into the first (left) room of the building, and the into the TNT blowing up everything and the debris will get the pig by the tree if the initial contact did not. plus flying debris will take down some of the glass tree as well. no need for power ups or multiple birds.

Nice score @dmitri ! I was under the assumption that the Golden Sling had the powers of all other special slings combined. Is this not true? Do you know? Thanks!
@dseufert, what I’ve found is that the golden one doesn’t work exactly the same way on each material as the specialized slings. It’s not a difference of power, though, as far as I can tell, but rather it doesn’t hit exactly the same.
Other guys on our FB group have been getting similar results as in my video, using the same strat, but with the golden and bone slings. However, you need to change a bit the aiming spot and timing.
