Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level #3 Week 2 (this tournament began the week of May, 28th 2012). Wait, there must be something wrong with my glasses as I’m seeing double. Oh well. A good strategy is to aim the first blue bird straight ahead breaking as much glass as possible. Now fling the yellow bird at a low arch with the goal of blowing up the TNT in the middle. With a little luck that should finish things off. The score in the video is 183,280.
Our Angry Birds Friends Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars and highscores with and without Power Ups. If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

has anyone managed to get the diamond using the green bird? Just to see if it gives just 500 points or more…
i got it with 1000 point not that much help u to make a high score !!
Has anyone hit the diamond and fruit underneath the launch pad? Wondering if there are enough points in those to use the boomerang bird? I’ll try & give results if successful.
Never mind, dumb question as the boomerang bird is last.
Someone posted this question on another level for this tourney.. but I’ll add a quick note to this one.
The boomerang bird, just doesn’t fly back in any direction suitable for this. When you click, he returns, but comes back at a downwards angle. To get the diamond or fruit, he would have to angle upwards… or at best, straight back, and I have tried countless times… just not happening.
I’ve been trying all afternoon, and I *just* managed to hit the diamond. Nothing particularly special happened, and I didn’t even see how many points it garnered.
I launched the boomerang bird anyway and managed to get the diamond. Score changed by about 2K. My best score was a 2-birder for 180,580.
1000 points shelly… nothing special
Thanks to everyone who tried and responded. When I see things like that it always makes me curious. Who knows, one of these days they might actually make it worth our while instead of teasing/fooling us with “pretties”
Got a one birder with only one glass not shattered 193 750 so the maximum should be 194 250..
Not necessarily. You can’t see everything down there to be sure it has shattered. I’ve had the same one piece of glass not shattered as you, and still only managed 191k. On the other hand, I’ve used more birds just to see how much damage I could get, and my max number is more like 196 or 197. Good luck getting that though.
Wouldn’t it be special if this could be zero-birded for 200k! I’ve been trying, but haven’t even been able to blow the TNT yet. I feel like I have been close though.
and if that’s a real score, it has been done.
I was just able to get 194,010 with a one birder. Nothing was left but who knows what actually shattered below
Just a small query. Does a two-bird solution yields the same points as a one birder?
More than likely.. no. There’s definitely a barrier between what points you get with one bird, vs two.. and then either using your power ups or not.
On this level, I see more people capping between 181 and 184, and the top so far, 192 using just one bird. So, as Bill suggested, “if” a zero bird using say, the shake, leads to total destruction without birds.. we know what levels we can get maximum pts using just the birds, and then split from there, what you can get using power ups.
Take level 1 for instance.. Rovio definitely designed that one to use power ups if you’re going to attain maximum pts, because without them, most of us aren’t getting any more than around 140 to 145K on average.
Level 2 can apparently be taken down with just the shake.. as most of us using one or two birds, max out around 120K… myself hitting only 118K.
@iammighty Morph is exactly right. I believe a two-bird solution would max out at about 184 – 185, where as a 1 birder can break 190+.
Thanks all. I was trying to see if a two birder(easy methode to be used) can yield me the same score as a one birdie(harder methode!) Thanks again!
For this level (3) using all birds trying to get as much damage as possible, I have maxed out the last digit with 6k, and almost 7k, putting the max 1-birder at 196k, 2-birder at 186k… that’s a weird explanation, I know. But you have to knock down all the glass. This is going to be extremely rare. If it were me, I’d get my one good run, even if it’s not absolutely perfect, and move on, which is what I did.
@AMslimfordy, it’s ok, I was referring to both levels 2 and 3 in a way, since that’s where the conversation was kinda headed, so as I was writing, I lost track of which thread I was writing on.
diamond gives nothing but 1000 points…
This is my video for this score:
