Can anyone explain why the scoring is so much higher now? I used to be able to get in the top 10 by following the videos here. Now, all of the sudden, I am lucky to break the top 20! WTH?!?!
@khfiredog The scores have gotten higher because Rovio has grouped “equal level” players together making everyone more competitive and thus, driving up the scores. There are good arguments for and against grouping us this way but I’m sure it has substantialy increased P/U purchases so doubt it will change. I’ve already dropped back down to level 6 and still having a tough time. A bit tough on the ego for sure.
One more question..what is bluestacks and why/how does it give you more points? Doesn’t seem like a fair game that way.
Bluestacks allows PC users to download Android Apps with slightly higher scoring capabilities in ABF. Google “Bluestacks” and follow instructions. It slows down some older PCs.
Bluestacks is an Android emulator; basically making your PC an Android device. It will not always give a player more of an advantage over others. Each device or its OS seems to differ slightly when playing. You will see some players reporting good scores using iPad, iPhones, Android phones/tablets, or PCs all depending on the logistics and/or design of a level. Some levels I get better scores on my tablet versus my phone which are both Android. Some weeks you will see players reporting a tournament as favoring PC play.
