Angry Birds Epic Trick or Treat Castle Dungeon is unlocked after passing Pumpkin Plateau level 1, which is only a few levels past the Mountain Pig Castle. It’s a tough castle, but definitely not one of the hardest. As usual, it’s a 5-wave battle. For help you can borrow on of your friends’ birds in addition to two of your own. Alternatively, you can use Piggy McCool as a default friend, or pay to use one of the Mighty Eagle’s more-elite birds.

Got 2* with level 18 birds: Vet Paladin, Vet Cannoneer, McCool.
I think when I completed the level the first time, the enemies were at level 15. They immediately upgraded to level 18. Can’t get far enough to get many snoutlings, even.
Played this today on autoplay to get snoutlings with McCool, Elite Paladin and Vet Cannoneer. As expected auto-play has problems getting past wave 1, and never gets past wave 2; however, this isn’t so bad if you are trying to collect snoutlings, because McCool collects 2 coins every time you attack, and the undead keep coming back for more. There is also the occasional wealthy rogue. Got anywhere from ~20 to ~150 snoutlings per round. Average was almost 70!
Now at level 29; Mc Cool at 27. On auto-play I am mostly getting ~60 per round with a couple of 100’s and 150’s. Always get through wave 1, but never wave 2.
2 things: first of all, either i played it before the update, because i got a 2 star with only matilda and red. secondly, that guy looks like darth vader
