That’s right! Angry Birds Chrome has been updated to v1.2.0 and includes a BUNCH of new goodness. It’s truly a massive update! To get started just head over to chrome.angrybirds.com. This update arrives on the same day as the Wreck the Halls update to Angry Birds Seasons. Details of this update and some helpful links are listed below:
- 42 new levels in the Mighty Hoax
- 25 new levels in Season’s Greedings. Like the the original Seasons Greedings and Wreck the Halls you get one level per day for 25 days.
- 3 unlockable bonus levels at the end of Season’s Greedings. Click here for known codes.
- Special Samsung Galaxy Note level (1-5) that’s tied to the Winter Wonderland competition. We have a walkthrough for this level here.
- 3 new Chrome Dimension logos. We will be hunting these down and adding them to the list shortly.
- Ability to log in and save your progress! (see warning about this below)
- The Mighty Eagle! Yes, the Mighty Eagle has landed on Chrome as a $0.99 USD in-app purchase, which obviously stores on your account. You can try it for free in Poached Eggs before committing to the purchase. We have walkthroughs for some of the more challenging levels here.

- If you don’t see the new version look for the following text at the bottom of the play window, “A new version is ready. Click to upgrade.” Once click you will get a prompt asking your to restart your game. Click okay and Chrome will update. Your progress should remain and now you’ll see all the new goodness.
- The ability to disable ads. After you click the X to close an ad you’ll be prompted with a message stating, “Tired of ads? Remove ads for 1 week for $0.99; 1 month for $1.99; forever for $3.99”.
- Warning: The log-in ability does not seem to store your progress in the cloud. Perhaps it stores your Mighty Eagle and/or ad-removal purchases, but we haven’t confirmed this yet. So if you want to backup or transfer your progress, be sure to check out our Chrome backup guide.

Sounds like something went rather haywire on your update. Try closing out your browser and trying again. All the levels looked right to me.

i can’t play the game in chrome :/ it doesn’t start

I have the same problem with the HD version. When it hangs, I close the tab, the reopen it in SD. I seem to only have the problem when starting the first level in each chapter. Almost like it’s got something to do with the Angry birds screens that come up. If it isn’t the first level, I have no problem with HD.
I cant get the feather on level 5-12… I checked the ME walkthroughs here on ABN and there is no walkthrough so that would mean it is an easy ME level?
Anyone has achieved Total Destruction on this level on Chrome?
PS. Same thing for level 3-6: Just leaving one block is enough to prevent TD… Maybe the thresholds are off?

its funny, I finally could play the game, but it has a few of levels of the seasons greedings played, 2 actually, but in the main screen has 47 stars, but i’ve never play the levels.

You’d have to buy the mighty eagle for 99 cents. Try playing episode one to launch the eagle for free.

The first 15 levels of angry birds have a free trial of using the mighty eagle. Just click the eagle eye on the top-left of the screen to use it.

I found these in the purchase ad for AB Chrome in the Chrome App Store.
purchase ad? Angry Birds Chrome is still beta and therefore 100% free. Why would anyone wanna buy something which is already given free?
The Chrome update contains ads, and they are rather intrusive. If you pay, you get rid of the ads. There is also a charge for the eagle. I’m not complaining, Rovio is very generous with their games, and it’s only $3.99 for adfree and .99 for ME. Much less expensive than most games.
I meant that pop up that appears when you get the game in the Chrome App Store.

Boy am I ever confused!!! Can I get The Mighty Eagle on the PC? Is it available for sale for the PC? I don’t have a phone that can download stuff to. Don’t want to use Chrome, just want to play it on the PC w/o the Net.
Also:
I have all three AB games for the PC and just want to know what updates are available since say, end of November, if any. Anything new, must have my Angry Birdeeze!!!

The Mighty Eagle is not yet available for the PC version, but this update makes it look very promising.

These levels are different to iPhone. Levels 1,2 and 3 all have an extra red bird!

Yes that’s what I meant, Android and iOS have the same number of birds, Chrome has an extra bird on these levels. ;-)

Anyone know if there is anything special when you get the Galaxy Note on level 5 of Seasons Greedings, or is it just 10,000 points? When I first launched AB tonight there was something about learning how to win a Galaxy Note, but it disappeared so fast I didn’t get a chance to see it.

I usually play AB on my iPhone. But lately I have been playing on different platforms (my husband has it on his Dell that has a touch screen). A few days ago I got a kindle fire as a birthday gift. Naturally the first games I bought were AB, seasons and Rio. But I noticed the eagle is missing. I’m new to anything that isn’t iOS or windows so, did I “do it right”? Is the mighty eagle available for the fire yet? I got the regular paid version of AB not the hd one, does that make a difference?

I’m pretty sure the Mighty Eagle is only available on IOS, on some devices when you are in a Barnes and Noble, (I can’t remember the specifics on the B&N thing), in the Chrome version on the computer, and the original Angry Birds on Android for T-Mobile customers.

Okay, thanks for the info. I knew it was in the Nook (the thing from B&N) but I wasn’t sure about other devices. It’s a little strange going from playing on an iPhone to the Fire. I wonder if there are plans to bring the eagle to other devices. Ah well, a girl can dream. :)
I think there may be plans, They enabled it in Android, and now in Chrome, so hopefully they are working on getting it on all devices. (I don’t know that for sure, but since it is appearing on other platforms, it’s making me hopeful). It was on Android in Sept, and now two months later it’s in Chrome.
There was something, I think it was on Rovio’s Twitter, about asking other wireless providers to make it so their users could get ME. I know they were supposed to be working on a bad piggy bank, but possibly for now they wanted wireless companies to do something like T-Mobile did so more Android devices would have it. I think the Fire is the Amazon tablet? If so, I’m pretty sure it’s Android, so you could try bugging Amazon about working with Rovio to get it on their device!
It’s not in every Android yet, as I still can’t get ME on my Xoom tab, since I’m a Verizon customer, not T-Mobile. But I can get in on my Nook color, (a locked Android device), in the store, which ain’t easy for me to do as those fifty-three ft trailers require a lot of room, and malls tend to dislike them, except when bringing a load.
Confusing and discouraging. If I had it to do over again, knowing what I know now, I would have made different choices. Too late to change now, as I don’t wish to start completely over from the beginning again.
If Verizon has user forums, try starting a discussion about the Mighty Eagle, or try asking on their Twitter account. Possibly all they would have to do is enable some way of buying it like T-Mobile did. I don’t know if they are responsive on their forums or their Twitter or not, but it’s worth a try. With T-Mobile, we can actually talk to people at the company, especially on twitter, and you can get results if your request is reasonable.

No luck here, I’m afraid :( I keep looking, but without any luck, I don’t know if anyone else has found them. Personally, I wonder of the code will be available when the GE is available on Wreck the Halls, but that’s just speculation.

The Chrome ones are a bit more detailed, including different facial features and shiny helmets and such. You can check out some of our walkthrough videos for the Chrome Dimension levels to see.
