Here is our Angry Birds Birdday Party (Birthday Party) walkthrough video that will help you unlock the Secret Cake Achievement found level 18-15. If you have a different method for obtaining this that you think is easier feel free to leave a comment below explaining your strategy. The steps for obtaining the secret cake achievement are as follows:
- Use the Yellow Bird or the Orange Bird to hit the TNT and destroy the donut on the far right hand side. You need to leave some debris above the TNT that is adjacent to the piece of cake. When you complete the other steps this debris will hopefully fall down and blow up the TNT.
- Destroy the treasure chest that appears BEHIND the slingshot platform with White Bird.
- If no debris falls through and you have an opening, you can still try to fling the Boomerang Bird into the gap to hit the TNT and get the cake! This won’t be an easy shot.

Yes it really is, But Not easier . I tried several times. But I got it . Know my problem are 18-8 , 18-11 , and 18-12 I did only 2 stars each. SO I ned your help . Or any other fun of this site . Working many hours and still stuck . So any help is good.thanks .

Just Try a lot and find out how to shoot your bird and use ability when and where its hard but it’s a way
What’s the point of getting the secret cake? Does it get you an extra level or golden egg? If it does, I haven’t seen where it does that yet.
It’s necessary for the 60th achievement. Otherwise, it’s just a lot of fun.
I’ve gotten the cake multiple times but never see any achievement notice or big cake pop up.
Both of them (the achievement and the big cake) only show up the 1st time. Check your achievements in GameCenter to see if you already got it. The achievement appears at the bottom of the list.
It just showed up in Game Center- guess I missed it the first time!
Same here. I was able to blow the TNT and the donut in one shot, then the chest showed up- hit that, and then nothing. This is the second time I have had a bug where I can’t get a response. Bummer.
There’s 1 more step. You need to actually get the slice of cake. Trigger the final TNT.
how do you get achievments?
Achievements are only available for iOS devices with GameCenter.
So, for Androiders it’s just a “Hey, cool. Meh.”?

It’s not a whole lot more than that for iOS users. Maybe in the future it will be a “Golden Egg” level.

i didn’t get the donut, just flung the white bird backwards (no chest there, just some balloons) and got the achievement too (unless something colapsed in the end and hit the donut after it wasn’t on the screen anymore, but i doubt that, people should try it wthout the donut
I don’t believe it is possible without the donut. What were you previous 2 shots (Yellow and Orange)? If you just flung them into the main structure, there is a high probability that you triggered the bottom TNT anyways.
Edit: OK, you can indeed break the chest without it being there. I’ve confirmed it. However, I don’t believe this is easier.
1) That’s a very difficult shot.
2) You still need to get something to go down the hole created.
You might as well just cause damage to the main structure and pop the donut.
you can take the yellow bird and knock over the top stone block on the far right. That block will then hit the donut and r eal the treasure chest
I had balloons behind the slingshot, too — not a chest. Also when you say “donut” are you referring to the cave-like opening underneath? It’s just a bit confusing: get the donut, get the cake (and there are donuts in Angry Birds sometimes), but I gather that “get the donut” in this context means to ignite the TNT inside the cave. I’m not sure I did that, either. I got the upper TNT but not the lower, but I then shot the white bird backwards anyway and got the achievement to my surprise. And I definitely saw balloons but not a chest.

Yeah everything happend exactly as in the video except the acievement showing up.. :/ ive restarted my ipod an tried the level multiple times. Guess its a bug?
Sometimes it takes time for achievements to appear in GameCenter. You could try logging out and back in to GameCenter manually.
Have gotten the treasure chest twice. Direct hit with wb egg. Still no cake! I’m missing 1 star,MIS that my problem?
You are missing the last piece of the puzzle: You need to hit the (now-exposed) TNT in the middle of the level. Fuji got a bit “lucky” in his shot, and is actually a bit upset about it since he wanted to demonstrate this last shot with the Boomerang Bird.

omg i got the cake but not the achievement T___T most of the achievement names changed to japanese after the update …maybe thats the problem?…:(
May want to go check either your iPhone or GameCenter settings.
The achievement may take a little time to appear.
Once I get the cake, what happens? Is there a bonus level? I don’t have an gamecenter because i’m on Android.

Another possibility for getting the TNT when the hole opens up is to drop the egg/bomb from the right height onto the Treasure Chest – the white bird then shoots up and off to the right and will come down (eventually) through the hole onto the TNT!

Oh and you answer a lot of questions so can you answer this one the first time I thought I got it but I did not hit the TNT so I did not get anything but when I tried again the treasure chest was gone but the cake was still there and I do not have the achievement in game center and I do not need to update anything.

Sometimes there is a delay after gaining an achievement before it shows up in the game center list.
What does getting the piece of cake achievement do? I got it and dont see anything different. It just said congratulations you’ve earned….. Is there another level or something I am missing?
on iphones and ipads you get an achievement through gamecenter: cakemonger.

i thought there’s an extra level for getting it.., coz in angry birds seasons mooncake episode collect all mooncake fragment and you gain an extra level…

PC Version. I hate to appear dense, but can the cake achievement be obtained one time only? I open the hole, and drop the stones on the TNT, everything blows, the slice of cake disappears, but doesn’t come up on the screen like it did the first time.

Thanks for clearing up that question. I saw the treasure chest and didn’t know what was going on,since I hadn’t read this page yet. Now it makes sense. Maybe someday I will make the jump to Apple and get all of these neat achievements and extras :). Still so much fun, even without the ME and achievements.

On iOS you earn an achievement, but it is mostly just a tidbit.

If you get the cake, there will be a splitscreen, but no achievment. There are no achievments yet for PC, but they will come soon. :)

It took me a few tries, but I did get the piece of cake. I only had a tiny piece of brick in the slot, but it was enough. :) I thought this one was fun and something different.
I don’t think this works for the Mac version.. I’ve popped the Chest and Nothing happened
