Our strategy for Angry Birds Birdday Party (Birthday Party) level 19-10 is to fling a Pink bird into the cake in the top-right corner of the level. The bubbles should release the floating structure and, with a little luck, the TNT can fall perfectly into the gap and clear the entire level. The score in the video below is 116,700.
More destruction with two birds, better score than with one.
I used two birds for a score of 123900 so far but there are more points to be had.
First bird is high lob to come down in the gap between the second and third tower by second pig from he left. It’s better if she bounces off the wood a little and settles near the cement just left of that pig. The deeper she gets in, the better. Her bubbles will lift everything up and ignite tnt, clearing the whole left side.
Second bird to go like the walkthrough’s first shot. Have her go through the cake and activate her bubbles under the cement plank attached to the floating balloon pig. The balloons should get popped which releases the tnt. At the very least, the left one needs to be popped so the tnt will drop left and not right. The key is to get the tnt to go slightly left then drop straight down. When it ignites, it should send the remaining pigs and debris in both directions! I know higher scores are possible as there was still plenty of debris left over ;-)
You need a lot of luck to do a 3-star with one bird, because the TNT always detonate before it can get into any gap to make itself useful.
Slightly different method. This is another classic case of flattering to deceive. Relatively low 3 star target and then it quickly adds up the score to prevent further birds being used. Ok! Sent first bird to the far right over the top of the cake, it came to rest against the two wooden blocks. The hanging TNT was then lifted and tilted anti clockwise and fell left into the gap. All pigs were destroyed, a one birder!; but the score wasn’t that high; forwarned is forearmed, so rapidly used another bird to pick up the large amount of debris which had accumulated to the left.Good luck.
Nice method, had tried this before reading your post but lost confidence in its result. Trick is to move fast before the level shuts down. Didn’t get the 130,000+ like your score, but still reached my highest on a level that was frustrating me. Thanks for your advice.
Correction, forgot to post the score before writing this
did as written, 2 birds got me 132,580. it seemed that stopping the first pink bird beforehand, before it reaches the two wooden blocks, say at the right side of the cake, increased the chances of the tnt falling to the left (instead of drifting away to the right) into the gap (by making lifted stuff cut the rope of the left balloon; on the other hand this increased the chances of the tnt exploding prematurely by being hit by that same stuff). after that it’s a matter of aiming the 2nd quickly. quite an easy level (got my current ok score fairly quickly, say within 20 mins).
Thanks @Dr O’Neski, got the level to be cleared like you described. first try and 124K. Very useful tip you gave. Again, thank you.
This method, but didn’t do a great job with the second bird….so I used the third bird to pick up/fluff the debris and gathered more points.
Absolutely agree @steviep147. After the thrill passes of getting a few decent scores with the 1-birder, start being ready to fling the second bird at the largest pile of debris to lift as much as possible. This increases the 1-bird score at least 4-5K if done properly. GL!
Well, I see I am now the top score on today’s challege. Although I achieved this some time ago, I know I used @steviep147 excellent strat — rapidly firing a second bird to pick up debris after what would have been a one-birder with a much lower score. GL everyone — this is a score that can be beat.
Top banana. Well done. Doubt that it will be bettered for some time to come.
Finally got the 1-Birder as on video, not a great score, but for now I’m satisfied, I’ll return to raise it some more in the near future.
I seem to have done much better this time around, increased my old score by 14k+ and used 2 Birds instead. Happy Hunting everyone!
I cannot believe this. For the first time ever I have the top score. A very very very lucky one bird! I hope this bodes well for 2013. Of course I have no idea how I did it. Sorry
A very Happy New Year to everyone in the Nest and especially to the hardworking and talented people who run the site. Thank you all
Followed the ABN video created by Sal for AMslimfordy, probably an inside staff joke.
The different result was the tnt went deep into the cavity where the two pigs sit creating greater distruction.
Thanks to @vuelva for the post on activating the Pink Bird prior to hitting the wood blocks. Sets a consistant pattern of the tnt dropping to the left when lifted by PB.
Got 131k like the walkthrough, I seemed to get better results letting the pink bird land & settle beside the 2 wooden blocks, then allowing the bubbles to activate on their own. The TNT fell right down into the gap onto the 2 pigs.
@Kathy when you get here, I agree with karen68 although I’m still trying to up my score, I’ve tried other strats but they haven’t gotten me higher than I am now. Good luck in space! I hope all your efforts pay off!! :)
Hey @Kimmiecv i went with @lesleyg start didn’t see Karens but i will try it:)
We’re almost done:)
Nice score @Kathy! Did you get the Big Bang? I tried lesleygs too but I finally gave up and moved on!!! :)
@Kimmiecv I’m confused i thought the big bang is in 11? Either way I’m off to space:) (((( hugs))))
Yes it is @Kathy I was wondering if you got it is all.
Lol @KimmIecv nope didn’t get it yet..going to start space now see ya tomorrow
well, i have no idea what strategy to use as there seems to be several ways of attacking this board… for my 126k score i believe I just crash!!ed into the first tower… all i know for sure is that the TNT went off and i think a piece of debris hit the floating thing and it’s TNT dropped and then went BOOM!…. both blasts were solid and at the end of the first bird I had 91,000 and change, and had 2 pigs left…. 2nd bird i wiped the pigs out and collected 10,000 to get me to the score listed by my name, until i beat it, lol
here’s @yuriyigolkin ‘s vid for those haveiing trouble visualizing a 130k+ strat like I was.
@eweber any pointers or tips how you got such a great score?
The two first birds as described by @steviep147. Continue to pick up the rest of the debris which are around the the right gap:
140 are possible with a better management of the debris and with the cake!
Nice one champ!
Thanks for the strategy.
I have been trying to refine it for a few days and here it goes.
The first bird must slightly push the top wood block (below the cloud) so that the TNT falls to the left in the gap created.
Here is a good trajectory (but others are possible): http://angrybir.de/18HQ19F
I found out that taking care of the right part is best with the second bird. It is launched high like this: http://angrybir.de/18HQeKa
It must be launched without waiting for the results of the first bird, its goal being to lift stone debris from left and right to maximize the damages.
A soon as the second bird starts to lift debris, the 3rd bird is launched low at (hopefully) a small moderately damaged wooden gap. Done properly it will lift 4 to 5 remaining stone blocks. Its trajectory is like this: http://angrybir.de/18HQA3s
(although with this try the gap wasn’t available)
And here is the reward when it goes quite well : http://angrybir.de/17Jb0UV
Sorry, I didn’t get the time to take a screenshot before the score screen, everything was going real fast.
Hope it helps.
140130 with 3 birds. Revisited. Same strategy.
This time I have a screenshot after the third bird.
And the highscore screenshot.
@asher I played this level for hours trying to replicate what you describe. Finally manged to get the timing and the aim for the second and third shots just right and was astonished to get 141k. I have been replaying all of the Birdday Party levels and so appreciate all the strats and screenshots you have posted. Thanks!
Thanks @bastieroxxor and @asher! I tried a lot of different strats but this one paid off for me.
Thanks to all who gave strategies – this one was doing my head in !
