Our strategy for Angry Birds Birdday Party (Birthday Party) Cake 4 level 3 is to sling the Boomerang bird over the structure, spinning back through the wooden blocks at the base. Make sure all pigs in the middle are popped. Then drop the tower on the left side with a Yellow bird. The 3-star threshold is a little high, so it may take a few tries. The score in the video below is 98,960.

108240/2 mostly as per the video but with a double roll (the same 1st but a different 2nd albeit with the same intended effect):
1st) low over the structure. reverse to make top of structure roll on top of the bird to the right into destruction (destroying the structure below). best score i’ve had 56k. that’s rare (for me) but 53k+ is not infrequent;
2nd) high arc (bird just touching the sling stand). accelerate late for the bird to break the wood remain there on the stone, to make the top of the structure roll on top of the bird to the left into destruction (destroying the structure below).

changed from the 2nd in the video or through the wood as described in other comments, into the 2nd described above because it seemed more consistent and also to get better destruction (on average). in case of my current best of 108k, i had 54k after the 1st and although the 2nd got good destruction it didn’t get the cake, so 112k definitely possible.

Thanks @vuelva, this was a particularly difficult level for me to exceed 102K but with your tip for shot 2 and a whole heap of determination, frustration and muffed second shots, it all finally came together. Instead of improving, I think my accuracy is getting worse, it must be old age or something!

Thanks @vuelva for the sharing the strategy and postings. Getting the correct angle on both shots proved to be challenging and that is what makes it fun.
I play on an iPad and zoomed in for the second shot. To get the second shot to work had to touch the base of the sling almost to the point where it automatically goes back up for a “soft launch”. Basically it is the same strat but had to really “touch” the sling’s base. Hope that helps another in their quest for a better score. Improved from a 3-star score to 104k.

@vuelva thanks for the alternate 2nd shot & thank you @asher for the screenshots below. I went lower over the structure than in asher’s pic & had 53k after the 1st. Then used the high arcing shot described here as it does tend to give better destruction. Both shots are pretty tough, my best after the 1st was 56k, but most often when it worked I was more in the 52-54k range.

Almost as in the video, with @vuelva twist for the second bird.

I got almost 58k on this attempt, and it was the only time I got that high.
In fact, below 54k you should start over.

From here the second bird was a high arc, and I thought I missed it and did not accelerate at all because it was so close to the structure.

I guess a little more is possible, because I got 109k twice with a cake intact, but that will be all for today.

Unfortunately this has been another day where I haven’t been up to the challenge. After hours and hours on this challenge my score has not been increased by even one point……so, off to sleep once again broken and beaten hoping for a different result tomorrow. Goodnight all, happy flinging.
