Same as the video, another hit or miss get lucky with destruction level.

Is customary to post your strat (though not required ) when you get a top score though?

Thanks, @Kathy, and apologies for taking your top spot on this level. When I use a different strategy (or variation) to get a top score, I do post. See, e.g., my top score on M8-7. When I follow the only posted strategy to get a top score, it has not been my practice to post. If the etiquette is to post simply to confirm a higher score using the only posted higher strategy, I am happy to do that. In this case, I simply did as you suggested and “kept flinging.” The key for me was to hit the cluster behind the top left piggie, which detonated everything in that area.

I’m about done with this challenge. I thought the mirror world was kinda cool at first. The bird being on the right side is really causing my normally unused right thumb to hurt. I have gotten 10s or 100s of one bird clears but not even one is an 80k score.

Once I had the coordinates for the one bird I decided to carry out an experiment. Using BlueStacks I set up a “Macro” to do the same shot over and over and over and set the recorder. I looked at it from time to time over many hours. After over 3000 flings I only got one score that was over 81k, which is my current best. I am so disappointed that (as usual) there is no post from the 2 +82k claimants with a screen shot. @sglouk and @captrec can you help here? I have no doubt that your scores are genuine but why no screen shots????

Same as Walkthrough. As usual it’s pretty easy on BlueStacks but getting a high score isn’t! Aiming Tap spot at the moment is x 65.76 and y 43. GL. You’ll need a lot of patience.

Well it’s back! I used the same tap spots on BS. I don’t know if this is anything but I have been “activating” red just as it hits the exploding asteroid and within a few minutes I got an 81k and then an 82k good enough for second place. Probably just luck but …

83220 with one bird.

Exact same strategy as in the video. Rinse and repeat a lot, results are varying wildly.

There are three tips posted here for getting a higher score. There is a video with a comment that says to release the bird when the small rocking stone at the left of the screen is at the top of its cycle and starting to move down. I could not confirm the merit of this as I was unable to keep the aim steady while watching the stone to time the release. There is a suggestion to activate the bird just as he collides with the exploding asteroid. I played with and without activation and got several one-birders but could not see any score improvement with activation. Lastly, there is the suggestion to rinse and repeat. While this tip applies to essentially every level, it was the only one that gave me score improvement, even though my current top score of 79k is not impressive. Just not enough time to keep flinging.
