I was robbed on this level. I got all the monkeys and had 117K with one bird left, and it didn’t finish. I zoomed out and saw nothing, but it seemed to think I had a monkey left. I had to launch the bird, and I got 122K, but it said the level failed. grrr…

140,990 with 2 birds for this level via a slightly different method to the walkthrough.

Aiming the egg bomb low into the next gap on the right rather than the first one can take out virtually all the towers if the TNT goes off right etc.

I was basically just left with that most elusive central marmoset under very little wood cover. I actually thought I’d pitched the red bird shot short and was about to curse myself when it rolled on and saved my blushes. So 120,990 after 2 birds and then the points for 2 birds remaining completed the score.

OMG!! Just complete luckboxed this screen with 1 bird. 149,590. Previous high was 2 birds and 135K using Habanero’s method. I had tried this level easily several hundred times before I got this fluke lucky shot.

@rocklands @pimpmikedizzle yes, more central is generally a better strategy as you both know. Just try to wait until the last possible moment (also as usual) before hitting to drop the bomb/egg. So many people say ‘once in a lifetime shot’, but this one really was for everything to cascade down just right. I will never try that screen again now (until you guys beat my score at least).

Fun to see so many names from the top score rankings on here! We keep passing each other which is cool because it helps motivate me to score even higher. No catching ZiriaChan though, I don’t think.

thanks Skoldpadda, we do seem to keep passing each other, you better stop playing so I can take a break :-), heading out of the country for 3 weeks so you might have some time to build up a buffer. I have no idea how ZiriaChan manage those scores, he also did it in a couple of days and then never played again, freaky

After stucking at 136k on this level for several weeks I decided to try another approach, because both Habanero’s and skoldpadda’s strategie didn’t work for me.

Just aim first bird at the bottom left of 1st tower, which pushes the tnt into 2nd tower and hopefully collapse the first part of the structure for almost 70k.
There is a chance to topple back tower as well, but that’s nonessential.

Slightly better than Habanero because:
1. more damage in the front
2. more free space to target red bird accurately -> quite easy 2 bird clearance (140k+)
3. it’s probably possible to finish this level for about 145k with 3 birds (I achieved 125k with 1 marmoset and 2 birds left so far)

A good deal worse than skoldpadda because:
I’m just not that lucky! ;)

@higgins thank you for a great strategy, using the bloated bird never occurred to me.
1st shot aim at the lowest horizontal beam, don’t drop the egg, I had about 1 in 10 success rate in bringing down 1st 2 towers. You need to take down the marmoset above & left of the central marmoset to get a clear 2nd shot. Min 60k after this to score high.
2nd shot aim red at the horizontal plank above the central marmoset. He is such a pesky guy & always gives me the most trouble. A lucky hit on the edge of that plank will also knock down the right tower.
I was trying Habanero’s strat, I had a few great 1st shots, taking down everything but leaving that itty bitty central marmoset surrounded by wood & a score of 110k+, but 2 shots the later the wood was mostly gone but that itty bitty marmoset was still there – once he gets surrounded by wooden planks he’s very hard to get. Could never get it to work. Happy flinging folks!

Thank you @karen68 for the detailed post. Especially useful was not dropping the egg. This was a challenging and fun level to play. With the first bird hitting the plank at the top left corner seemed to provide more consistent results.

After seversl hundred tries of Habernero’s, rocklands and skoldpadda’s methods being unsuccessful, I cant get above 129660, ended up using higgins method.

I am just about to try that having given up on habaneros…tooo much luck of the fall in that one;)..ill try to beat you with your own strat lol….hopefullly AA willl be able to come back and improve her score:) ty for help

Hi @habanero nice to hear from you after so long, I wasn’t around the Nest when you last posted but the beauty of this site is your comments and those of others continue to be belpful so thank you. Noticed recently a few ‘old stagers’ have stsrting flinging again. Do you ever get the urge? I seem to remember you featuring heavily in the golden egg levels (hence your avatar?).
Anyway I’ll put my high score screenshot down below.

Well, due to the dismal English weather, I have actually flung a few birds this past week as I noticed lots of ME gaps on my iPad (had completed all of Seasons on an iPhone)
This morning I finished the last ME feather (again) but have to say I did not enjoy the challenge of levels such as Pig Days 3-12, Ham Dunk 1-12 and 4-12 and Tropical Paradise 2-7
I think Rovio either set the threshold way, way, way too high or were expecting 100% destruction to be achieved via Power Ups? The result is just frustration with Nesters flinging for hours, days, weeks on one level just to get 100%?
As I think @Kathy commented, it does not make playing much fun, especially as everybody wants a complete set of feathers. I got there in the end but feel Angry Birds Seasons was most fun during the first dozen or so worlds and before Power Ups were produced. I achieved the Seasons Greedings 1-16 Feather, before it was fixed, so for me to get annoyed with the levels above is saying something. Love Seasons in its heyday though 🙂

Hey @habanero with that name I had you in sunnier climes but you’re right it certainly has rained here with Aberdeen seeing the sun for the first time in 3 weeks yesterday.(I think we saw it in Brechin for 2 minutes last Tuesday).
Checked those levels out you mentioned regarding Feathers and they all gave me nightmares.If it hadn’t been for the Nest video I would never have figured out Ham Dunk 1-12 and if you managed Pig Days 3-12 on the most recent version Admin should mint a special badge in your honour.Couldn’t get past 99% though I did find it doable on an older version(5.1.0 I think)
Must say Seasons was always my favourite game but having a go at Rio just now.You should visit Bloated Pig sometime,some of those ‘old stagers’you might remember pop in from time to time.Traffic isn’t what it used be(more like a country lane than a motorway these days)

My strategy gave me 134290 points.
1. The white bird went it front of the first tower. Release the egg before it hits it. The whole 1st tower should fall. If the 2nd tower falls too, then go to step 3.
2. Then, hit the vertical wooden block to bring down the 2nd tower.
3. Hit the horizontal block over the monkey on the third tower. This should bring down the whole 3rd tower and possible the 4th.
4. Hit the 4th tower with the yellow bird. If the tower is already down, clean up the remaining wood(if you know you will get 10000 point from it).

I had tried all of the above strategies and had gotten to 135k. My score of 147k was achieved by launching the first bird in a steep high arc… traveling down between the first 2towers and releasing the bomb at the last possible second. It completely wiped out the first 2 towers and also the last tower and the upper portion of the mid tower. I was at appx 109k after the first bird. At that point the 2nd bird only needed to knock out the middle marmoset (which was practically unprotected). Presto 147+k!

145700/2 using @habanero method.Couldn’t manage the one birder as @comex666 and others have.Enough has been said about that bottom middle marmoset.I think it was made in a laboratory and spliced with cockroach dna.

Occasionally after Matilda has done her thing you are left with a score around 120k and only the that stubborn marmoset left. Hopefully you can get a clear shot at it and up with 140k+.I reckon with a fair wind behind 150k + can be achieved. I might return after I complete the episode. Bon chance.
