All aboard the double-decker bus. Our strategy for Danger Above level 7-8 is to loft the first White bird to bomb one or two ice blocks to the right of the baby pig atop the bus. Use the next White bird to blast the mustache pig on the left side. Lob the Black bird through the damaged roof, having it come to rest at the bottom of the structure. Upon detonation, the bus should look like the one from Speed. The score in the video below is 90,510.
Version 2022:
I used the written method above, with a few tips. The second bird, shoot low so he bounces into the bus. Try to get bomb bird to drop down, into the far right stone window, to the floor. More damage that way. Two bonus birds left.

I also switched the first two birds. Same idea as the video above, but with more luck/better placement of the birds.

@e-star Thanks you E-Star for the video. Seeing Kart’s tip in your video put the visuals with the words. The bomb bird hit so hard in the middle section of the bus, to took out both pigs and the middle vertical concrete divider. Seemed to produce more points. Gained over 6k in points.
As usual @e-star, your 5 Star Productions assisted me in upping my score, thank you. BTW I took your advice and came down from the crow’s nest, I was getting seasick anyhow.

The secret is to detonate BBomb before it settles on the bottom of the bus. This got me 4g more in score. :-)
Nothing more than @e-star has already written. My tip is try to destroy by BB the vertical stone plank and detonate bird just before it touch the ground in the middle of the stone cage. 108+ become repeatable. After 2nd place on that level I tried it for 1.5 hour more because of missing only ~500 points more to the top score. It worked well and I really believe theoretically 116000 could be possible with more luck.

Here is goes:
First bird as in the @e-star video. This is the trajectory and a quite good result.
Second bird low on the roof and egg dropped on the square immediately right to the pig. The goal is clear the path for Bomb and if possible to stay here for further damage. Here is the trajectory.
Then Bomb in the gap and detonated before touching down as described by @4lien.

I just scored an amazing 131,490 points. Last night I started out playing the Challenge the same way that @asher wrote back in 2015. For this score, I got what I can only call Great Destruction on the first 2 shots. If the Bomb Bird had gone deeper into the far end of the bus, the score would have been even higher.
The first bird I sent low, to just barely clear the yellow smiley face, and dropped the egg on the pig’s ear closest to the bus. Matilda then moved up to the right, through the vertical wood & concrete pieces, bringing down everything to the left of the upper left little piggy, including the left hollow glass square above the wheel.
The second bird is where I changed strategy. Instead of aiming for the center top of the bus, I aimed for the space where the hollow glass block had been. This took out nearly all of the center of the bus, leaving some of the concrete middle “door frame” pieces and the rear of the vehicle.
I took a screenshot of the third bird to show his trajectory and the amount of debris left over. I aimed the Bomb Bird at the rear tire. I detonated him as soon as he could not go any deeper inside the bus.
Two birds were left unused.
Without the amazing first shot destruction, I do not think I would have gotten my score.

Same approach as @realfish for first two birds but the third one does better if the central vertical stone plank in the centre well is destroyed before bomb bird explodes at the bottom of the well. I think there is quite a bit more in this.
Hi @klamsauce looks like some good Classics flinging. Well done. However, it is customary these days for all high scores to be supported by proof and some indication of strategy. A screen shot of the final tally page showing your high score will do (not the level page). Ditto for level 5-14. White bird just over the smiley face/late detonation to break as much of the left side as possible. Second white bird high deep center to break the glass squares and weaken the wood below to allow for the bomb bird to settle right into the center of the structure. Then it is just RNG as to how much dmg the bomb does.

Classics continues to surprise. I wasn’t expecting this 4 bird approach to work. First two birds as usual, making sure the left hand side is well opened up. Third bird to drop into the central well on the right hand side of the central vertical stone plank. This concentrates the explosion on the right hand side while leaving the left hand side reasonably vertical. I got huge destruction on the right hand side but the left hand side was pretty intact. You have to be quick to avoid timing out but if the left hand side allows good access to its base, its possible for Matilda to exact massive destruction on that side too. 124k and bits plus 10k bonus.

Impressive high score, well done. However, we do need to have proof in the form of a screen shot of the tally page and also it is usual to give an explanation of the strategy used.

I shot the first white bird as close to the wood next to the close pig, this took out up to the second upright rock pillar.
I shot the second white bird as close to that rock pillar and as low as possible, what I didn’t realise was the first bird was still there and the egg deflected off him leading to it going straight into the side of the rock pillar giving it an extra boost that got everything down up to the middle rock pillars
Then I flew the Black bird up to the middle landing inside the middle rock pillars and exploded it before it landed on the ground.
Excellent, thank you @cyno-stelianos. This sounds a bit like @meanguy‘s high score 2017, except that with Classics you can get more destruction.
What I also found interesting is that when I had one successful attempt at pursuing the 4 bird approach, I easily scored 130k without a particularly large amount of destruction. So there may be more to come that way, although 140k is a stretch.
