This video shows you how to get the hidden melon in level 2 (5-2).
To get the melon send a bird off to the far right side of the level past the LAST umbrella and blow up the TNT. Important, the TNT is NOT visible on all devices (it’s off the screen), but if you hit it you will likely see the explosion. Once you do hit it the explosion will cause a labeled crate to swing down on a chain. Break the chain or the crate to find the melon.
Note, based on a lot of comments we’ve received this melon seems to be the one people are missing most often (e.g. “I only have 14/15 of melons, but I swear I’ve got them all!!! What gives?”). A big thanks to AMslimfordy for spotting this. His advice has a helped a lot of people get all 15 melons.
on the iphone you cannot see the crate on the right at all .. even if you try to move the screen … amyone else having the same problem? i had to see this walkthrough to find the first watermelon …

I had this problem, too. I finally hit the box with the blue birds, even though it was not visible on the screen.
I didn’t know about the crate on the right. I hit the swinging crate with the yellow bird.
Used the ABN video for this level to get the swinging melon. Hitting the right tnt box was a challenge with that inner tube above. I think a piece of debris activated it.

On beach volley 5-2 I didn’t know about the golden fruit but it says I already got it, I don’t remember getting it before.
Weird, that’s an accident. I’ll re-open that and move your comment there.
Anyways, back to your issue. It is entirely possible to get this melon by accident, since debris can go off the right side. But what happens? Does the crate swing down, but with no label?
Yes and I have all the golden fruits for all levels it says in achievements.
Then I suppose you got it in passing.
Ty slim for finding thiz and clearing it up…the commment above the video reaaly helped I would have missed this one..it really stinks that I have to go through all this again. I. Blew the tnt the crate came swinging…I assume I hit it cuz the chain swung back with no crate..does this mean I must have got it prior? Or do you have to break the crate directly, like could it have broke off and rolled off screen without breaking so I don’t get melon? Srry to bother ya :(
If there is no label on the crate, that means you already got the fruit.
I must have got it…I aim at the swinging crate with yb..then the chain swings back with no crate.. I will try again thanks guys!:)
Try again, if you see the melon showing up after breaking the crate, that means you haven’t gotten it prior. If not, you probably already have gotten it.
Nope still has label…it must have broke off chain and fleww off screen…:( that’s not fair above it says if you break chain you get it:( ty for help:)
Try getting the crate to fall and break where it’s still visible, zoom out for easier achievement.
That happened to me once, and it really stinks!
On PC,the TNT can be seen very clearly if you zoom out.
We say “it is not visible on all devices”. The larger the screen, the more likely it can be visible. But this is a precautionary statement for those who cannot see it — basically to establish that they are not alone.
Thanks for the 15th melon tip on 5-2. I was really frustrated. One of the few that wasn’t visible at all.
I am still stuck at 14/15. I have checked all hidden melons have gotten them all including the one in 5-2. Is there another way to find out which one I may be missing without going through each video as I’ve done this 3 times already.

Thanks! i couldve sworn i tryed the tnt before. but i guess i wasnt patient enough to wait for the crate to swing in so i just quit the level and missed it lol
I have looked at this walkthrough and have ALL the melons but my game says 14/15. Any idea?
As the post says, this is the most commonly missed. Restart your device and go through each crate, even if it is no longer labeled.

Beware snapping the chain with yellow instead of hitting the crate though; the first couple of times the chain swung and the loose crate disappeared off screen and didn’t give me the golden melon.
