  • Princess, Canoneer & Marksmen

This is a very effective combo that works extremely well against enemies without a dispel ability. Their effectiveness is increased a huge amount with sets like BEEP attack and Scissors, but even a good weapon like Candy Bomb will significantly increase its effectiveness. I’ll discuss the strategy you can use for Star Reef Castle below.

    First through forth waves
Have Princess attack Pyropig to make them concentrate on the Canoneer. Have the Canoneer cast Counter on himself and have the Marksmen cast Ambush on the Canoneer. This will make the Marksmen counter attack every enemy and make those targets suffer extra damage with every attack. If the target is still alive after the Marksmen counter, then the Canoneer gets to counter at 40%, but because of the added damage from Ambush he is doing a tremendous amount of damage from his counter for all 3 of his attacks. If you have a set like BEEP attack or Scissors, then those will add a huge amount of additional damage to the enemies. Princess will heal the Canoneer and attack as needed to make sure enemies always attack the Canoneer. This group is so effective that you never need to use your rage chili, but go ahead and use it however you see fit. Just remember to make sure the Canoneer always has Counter and Ambush cast on him until you get to the forth round where the enemies have a 2 or 3 round charge attack. It isn’t necessary or advisable to cast Counter or Ambush in the forth wave just remember to always attack with the Marksmen first.

    Fifth wave
Attack with Marksmen then attack with the others. After Wizpig casts his Power Up Shroom, use the rage chili on your Marksmen to dispel, stun and damage Wizpig then have all birds attack until WizPig is dead. You should be able to finish him off before he gets the chance to attack you.

Note: I haven’t tried this yet, but this group might work well against ninja too if you equip the Marksmen with a weak weapon to be in the sweet spot. If the Canoneer is using a set weapon that is the same level as him, then his weapon is in the sweet spot if he is Mastery level 5.
