  • Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-9 Walkthrough @gumby - I had a HORRIBLE score on this level and absolutely hated it the first time around and even more so this time around! As you know, I'm in this Episode to finish the last 7 or so levels that I never got around to...then improve overall. I finally played and entered those ones in...then when I looked at my leaderboard scores...this one was standing out as one of my personal worst! So with that said, and the very limited "Fling Time" I've had lately...when I opened the level and saw which one it was I thought, "Oh NO! Not this one!" Then I read your comment above with @Kathy 's...I was determined to figure this one out! I had a score of 119720 when I started which gave me a rank of #283 here...I improved to 121610 which moved me up to #240 on the leaderboard, oh boy not much to write home about with that, tee hee:-) That's when I really started to try and figure out what was the "mystery" of this evil level, haha ;-) Then I noticed exactly what the "Culprit" was... It's that if you play the usual shots, the very bottom left tnt and stones there, get buried with the ghost blocks tumbling on top of them...making it very difficult to explode that tnt! You need those points for a high score. So...try this; First Bird with his natural arch to go through the very lowest ghost blocks of the left structure...here's a screen of the trajectory: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22446/ Now I got lucky on this shot...normally you just need Chuck to go through without necessarily setting off the left tnt's but he needs to cut through and land on the horizontal wood and break down the middle so that it all falls down and left...which gets most of it out of the way for shot number two... Second Bird to the top right tnt and stones, like this: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22447/ With these same first two shot, I usually needed a third bird to ricochet off the bumper so that it flies back left and ignites the bottom left tnt and stones because they usually don't get taken out with the first bird...when they don't send the third chuck off the bumper and he should ignite them if you've managed to keep the ghost blocks from covering it up. Now I'm up to 141290 and sitting at #4...Yippee!!! GL BFFF's ;-)
  • Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-15 Walkthrough Thanks @gumby - Yippee! Just out of curiosity, how did yours play out...Where did your OB come in at and did you detonate him quicker than you had been? Oh, and did your right tower take extra time to fall? I haven't played this level again yet to see if I could get it to happen again but definitely plan to. Happy Flingin' 8-)
  • Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-15 Walkthrough Wow, way to go @hunnybunny and @gumby ;-) Great Scores guys...You Rock!
  • Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 2-15 Walkthrough Wowsers!!! @knichy Great Find! Thank you for an awesome strat and sharing it with us all ;-) @Kathy - Thank you for letting me...I didn't end up getting a chance to play it last night after all. So I just finished work, just started giving it a try, and after only about 30 minutes or so...Burahhhh!, Yippee! 192400! It was a beautiful sight for sure ;-) Like others have said, if you haven't got it yet..you can and will! Just keep flinging until it hits. You will most definitely know it when it happens. This was the first time my OB hit with that grand explosion. I don't have much more to add for tips, except for this time, OB came in a bit lower as you can see in my screenshot and I manually detonated him quicker than I had been. I don't believe he bounced, and it all happened very quickly. He came in where the platform and the vertical woods meet and was kinda "rolling" on his way to make contact with the stone, so as soon as that happened, I manually detonated him...before my eye could see his actual contact with the stone. Hope that made since, haha ;-D Here is my screey of his trajectory and the remaing debris: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22351/ And the three star score screen: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22352/ As far as the right tower, it was also quick for me, I didn't have to wait and could see that it was already on it's way down ;-) Great find my BFF's :-)
  • Angry Birds Seasons Haunted Hogs Level 1-1 Walkthrough Thank you @Kathy ;-)
  • Angry Birds Seasons Piggywood Studios, Part 2! Level 2-29 Walkthrough Ugghhh! All that and I "typo'd" your name, rotflmao @karen68 :-D))) That is a Big Fat...."Tee Hee" ;D
  • Angry Birds Seasons Piggywood Studios, Part 2! Level 2-29 Walkthrough @keren68 - As promised (finally) here are some details and screenies for the way I have been playing this level...As I said, I don't have a "great" score but was able to improve to #13 with 237630 and now that I've got the 1st shot down...I know I can do much better. As you will see in my screenshots,I got 107210 after the first bird and 217610 after the 2nd shot which ended with the 237630 score. But when I came back to try and find some better tips and bread crumbs to share,I have zeroed in on the 1st shot trajectory that worked best for me and improved the shot with much better and more consistent outcomes. The third screeny shows this when I landed a 120090 score after the 1st shot!!! Too bad a completely flubbed the second shot or I could have been looking at a very nice HIGH score, waaahhh ;-( Oh well...so I have found that if you send Stella to go through the coins within the left pot of gold, on the higher side, she should roll all the way to that last quarter pane of the horses "arse" right up to it's tail. The further the better seemed to work best. When she bubbles up, it is more reliable for the stones to get picked up so that they don't go too far right because you need one to cut the second dangling string up high enough to leave room for your second bird...but more importantly, it also allows one of the stones to drop down and ignite the bottom tnt and clear out the bottom. I had better results when the stone dropped then kinda rolled a tiny bit on that "very hard to see" black piece which is attached to the pig with the head phones on. It should squeeze through on the right side and work it's way down to blow the tnt there. Here is the screen for the 107210 1st bird result: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22203/ For the second shot with Matilda, I don't have much to add except I did noticed that if you drop her egg closer to the left side of the metal section of the bridge, that her "not-a-carcass" or even debris lands down near the right horses "arse" it can cause it to make it's way to the right and fall off the ledge a bit quicker as it kind of helps give it a much needed push. Otherwise, hitting it towards the head works ok too. If Matilda lands in the center and kills the pig sitting on it right away, then the level likes to time out too quickly. There usually isn't enough time to allow for the horse to twitch and walk itself off the ledge which it almost always does. It's one of those "Hurry up and wait" things that we hate, tee hee :D I also noticed that if it walks off to the right you can get a few more points out of it because it can land on those boxes down below for those points but also helps break up the horse. The points you get out of the horse can very drastically. Sometimes only a few thousand but other times 9K or 10K. Here is my second shot ending in a score of 217610 for the final score of 237630: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22204/ And here is an awesome outcome after the 1st shot, played exactly the same (higher up through the coins): https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22202/ So yeah, I definitely blew that opportunity, haha ;-) I hope some of this helps get you and others some extra points...I see that genkik used 3 birds for his awesome score. I haven't had that kind of outcome myself but I guess it is the way to go. Good Luck and let me know if it helped ;D
  • Angry Birds Seasons Back to School Level 1-8 Walkthrough Whoo Hoo! Just got a big improvement with the help of my BFF's ;-) Went from 113K something which was #302, now 120150 and moved up to #51 here, hahah:-) Congrats on the Trophy and for holding on to it @karen68 :D
  • Angry Birds Seasons Piggywood Studios, Part 2! Level 2-31 Walkthrough Here's the screeny with the 336840 score...take notice that my previous High score was 336260 and that screenshot looks pretty much identical and I played it exactly the same way ;-D https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/lesleyg/album/picture/22174/ I realize I don't have Top Score or anything...but just thought I post here to help some fellow Nesters maybe improve their scores ;D
  • Angry Birds Seasons Piggywood Studios, Part 2! Level 2-31 Walkthrough Ok so here is how I have been playing this level and how I have improved from #60, to #50ish, to #40ish to #23 and now #22..Whoo Hoo!!! I realized that to get a high score you need to use all of the birds, especially Bomb Bird and as @philsey mentioned above...there isn't always a good amount of time to do so. It took me some time to figure this one out but I managed to see a pattern that worked for me. Here's how it went: First Bird: I sent the blues down to the bottom left vertical supports as if aiming for the bottom horizontal metal piece and split about 3/4 of the way...The whole left structure may or may not collapse. Most common is "Not"...My goal was to have that gap open up...mentioned above by @dronnord. Because we need to use all the birds here anyway, and buy ourselves some time for higher scores, the whole left structure doesn't need to collapse with the blues as in the video...but any Left-side points help here ;-) Second Bird: I sent through the gap which would be just above that "wheel" so that Chuck hits the tnt...sometimes he even "Breaks on through to the other side" (as Jim Morrison of the Doors sang so finely in 1967 ;-)) Regardless... Third Bird: Send Matilda in similar path depending on how things were left and drop her egg on any remaining debris left over on the left hand side of the level so that her "Not-A-Carcass" flies up to take out the cloud thing and ricochets into Bomb Bird, (Not necessary) Fourth Bird: Send Chuck in to the right TNT...I found aiming he ignited the TNT more often if he came in slightly on the high side rather then level. Then Bomb Bird...You will need to be quick here so the level doesn't time out but aim him towards the back, far right remaining debris! This general strat worked well for me several times in a row to increase my score from 325K+ to current 336840...The over all goal was to make sure you have cleared as much as the left as possible, which all times I used Matilda to do so and then the last Chuck to the far right TNT and Bomb Bird to the back/far right! I'll post a screeny of my 336840 score to show trajectory and remaining debris incase it can help anyone;D
