Not only is this useful as a reference, but when applicable each update below will link to the respective article that details the update. We intentionally left out a lot of the older releases, so if you want to see those just click here. If you notice an error or an accidental omission please feel free to leave a comment.

Just finished level 30 on the death star – it wont open levels after that just plays a short film and says the end ? can see others over the levels and does state 68/90 stars ?
The Star Wars 2 update for today says “IOS and Android”
Is that a misprint about android? Can’t find the update for my android phone.

Sorry to butt in, but I think nothinggold is referring to the way in which the update is presented on the log itself, as in, under name, the update title description states “released for ios”, yet under platform it states “ios, android”.
For previous updates where ios has landed before android, the enteries for ios and android release dates appear to have been listed seperately, rather than together as is the case here, so it’s understandable that he/she should be asking if the android part is a misprint, right? ;)

GP have an update for space 2.0.1, I think is bug fix that for some user unable to launch app.
It’s been four months since ABO 4.1, and the PC version still hasn’t gotten this update. Has Rovio simply abandoned the PC format?
@samsonkj Well, they released Rio Blossom River in 2 weeks, and Space Beak Impact in 1 week, so I guess they still care somewhat. With that said, the long delay on 4.1 is beyond ridiculous. Either it’s been repeatedly back-burnered, or there are problems with it. I just hope they’ve not been using that time to add in nag screens and powerups.
Guess it was none of the above. They were making everyone else a whole new episode. Lovely.
Anyone else get the Epic update? Looks like the Level 25 limit is gone! Not sure if there is a new limit or not, but am on the way to level 26.
Didn’t notice any other changes so far, but I haven’t been back to the fourth Cave yet…

Never mind my idiocy… I think the update was just bug fixes.
When I logged into the game after the update, though, I must not have been properly sync’d to the server (yet it let me play). So, it let me keep leveling up.
I achieved level 26 just moments before the game crashed, and when I went back in it said it had sync’d up. I am still level 26, but now the experience bar says “Max. Level” just like it did before at 25.
Please return to your regularly scheduled programming…

On July 23, 2014, Rovio released a Space update for Mac users that was supposed to fix the problem that I first complained about on July 1. Starting with the second group of Beam Impact games, my computer completely froze up when I let it go to the total score/stars page, forcing me to hold the power button down for five seconds for a forced shutdown. It doesn’t happen if I restart the game before then or let it go to the “Game Failed” page. This problem infected all my other Space games, all the way back to the beginning, but not Original, Rio, Seasons or Star Wars. The fix didn’t do anything for me, but maybe some others have been having problems that it will cure. Rovio says “we have now reopened the investigation and we will hopefully get it fixed in no time at all.” Of course that’s what they said on July 10, too, so we’ll see.
@amslimfordy The update that I reported still doesn’t appear on the list. As I said, it didn’t help me, but may others.
@admins epic 1.0.12 released for android, not for iOS yet, it contains 2 new caves, (20 new levels!?)

You are either a master tactician (well, it isn’t hard to be better than me…), use a lot of potions, or borrow big birds from friends if you are into Cave 6 and not even at level 25 yet!

After the update I am once again able to gain experience (no max at level 25).
Are you seeing that, or did I just get a wonky, un-sync’d startup after updating yet again (it happened last time, too)? With two new challenge caves (and assuming they are of a higher level than cave 5), I was thinking maybe they upped the max level?
Either way, I don’t care — I am going to level up all I can before crashing/restarting because I am tired of getting destroyed in Cave 5 unless I burn through a massive about of potions and cakes — and that’s with having decent golden pig gear (including a couple epics) and having Elite headgear across the board…

Makes me feel bad because android get new content update, while no signs of iOS update. I play on different platforms and would like to take opportunity to purchase some lucky coins while they are on sale, but I can’t because I am affraid accounts wouldn’t be synched. i haven’t updated game yet, although I am eager to give new caves try.

Why was the release date for iOS and Android combined on ABEpic v1.0.12? The Android version was released a week earlier on 07/29/14 and for other games different platform releases had been listed separately. Just curious for the sake of accuracy and consistency towards a well-documented and often-referenced list.
It’s easier that way, especially when sending notifications.
I don’t have the “Hidden Harbor” update for RIO 2. Has it not come to android yet. I got “Timbler Tumbler.”

Hi there!, I’m just new to this site and I’m an AngryBirds Game fan also. I just wanted to ask if Rovio will no longer release updates for PC platforms in any of its AB games? I haven’t receive any update since ABSW2_v.1.5.1? T.Y.
PC is certainly still an active platform.
We must be getting close to a new update for the PC as it’s been about 2-1/2 months since the last update back on 06/13/14. Since then there have been several new levels issued for the other platforms which one would presume will also be released for the PC:
Seasons “South HAMerica”
Rio “Timber Tumble” / “Hidden Harbor
Star Wars II “Master Your Destiny”
So Take Heart Patient PC’ers ~ we just may have an active last several months of 2014 spent flinging birds on some new levels!

@uncle-b welp, I guess that kills my last excuse for not playing Seasons. :)
What do you base this on? ABO for PC still hasn’t gotten the March 2014 update. When I contacted Rovio a couple months back, they were non-committal on whether any more PC updates were coming.
The normal delay for updates in the past seems to be 5-15 days. Short Fuse, and Rio Timber Tumble/Hidden Harbor being the recent glaring exceptions. Since both of those releases curiously involve integrated powerup birds (Shockwave/CTF), I’m just hoping the delay isn’t because of a powerup capability being added to the platform.
Looking at what percentage PC is of Rovio’s customer base, it’s understandable why we’re clearly not a priority. Still incredibly annoying, though.
Do RMF in original AB will have new levels or not? It is incomplete as two eggs are still with king pig in that episode.

Looks like Stella was released this morning. Tired to load it to my iPad from the App Store through the Search function and it did not find the game.
Then started to play AB Free and an advertisement came up saying to “Play Now” and it loaded through the App Store without any problems.
@birdleader @AMSlimfordy One thing I can tell you is that Windows Phone 8 got Space Beak impact on 13 August. Which is cool. What is kinda surprising I assume, is that that was the first time ever that Windows Phone also got DANGER ZONE!!!! I am super stoked about that, I have been wishing for those episodes for a long time. AND ARE THEY DIFFICULT!!!! :)
Of course I meant to say “Ï have been wishing for THAT EPISODE for a long time” – meaning Danger Zone. My English can let me down badly some times. Hahahaha

@admins – I just wanted to let you know that those of us that have the original iPad can not download the new Stella game. I tried and it said it is incompatible with my device because it requires you to have a front facing camera. I just thought you might want to note this somewhere.
@lesleyg I discovered the same thing last night. It’s the same with Go & Epic, you need iOS 6 or later.
Too bad, the original is only a few years old & already out of date for a lot of the newer apps. I feel like a bit of a dinosaur, still using my old faithful 1st gen. :)

I had no interest in Go or Epic any way and I think the new Stella is more like those games and not like our original game play ;-) ABSWII was pushing it for me, but I just played the levels with out swaps or telepods. Except to unlock the characters. I have a feeling you feel the same ;-)
@lesleyg no, not at all. The game is totally slingshot based, all levels :) only there are new powers and birds (which are awesome)
It’s like they stuck Rio, SW2, The Matrix, and a pile of Disney movies in a blender, and turned it on.

@Admins, there is an update to Stella for Android v1.0.3 released yesterday (10/01 on Google Play) that “addresses some minor issues to improve the user experience…” Please add this to the Updates list. Thanks!
Also, an 1.03 iOS update came out today. Same description, but I can confirm it makes Level #5 the same on both platforms. So, the score cap needs to be raised.

I’ve been seeing youtube videos that titles have Angry Birds Epic on PC. Is this true?
@angrybirdsrules In all of those videos I’ve seen, they’re using a screen mirroring app, like Reflector to show their iOS screen on PC. It’s not an actual PC version.

Haha, @sal9, it’s not that I’m impatient, it’s just rather unusual that there is no post about a new update within 1 day on the best Angry Birds site in the world.
I know, we’ve been rather busy with the new games, updates, and the advent levels :)
