Angry Birds Seasons: Christmas 3 Star Walkthrough Level 1-8

Our strategy for Season’s Greedings level 1-8 is to work from bottom-to-top. Fire the first Yellow bird just below the first horizontal stone block. While it may be tempting to shoot for the TNT in the center, fire the next Yellow bird through the snow supporting the duo of stone blocks higher up. Arc the last Yellow bird through the snow supporting the top-right pig, causing debris to cascade downward onto the TNT below. The score in the video is 83,920.

Hi, I notice that scores on the Leaderboard for Seasons Greedings have doubled!? (On Gamecenter)

Is this a bug in the game/leaderboard or is there some secret way of getting tons of points on this level I don’t know about?

People have left comments on this site saying that there are “secret” explosive areas in Seasons Greedings. Check out the comments on for level 7.

I saw. But mystery not solved unless all of the secret areas got activated on the seventh day because its a lot of points. Most of the people on the high scores were only about 50 thousands more points than me and now they are suddenly about 600,000 points more than me.

I got 92,450 with 2 birds. First shot was similar to that shown in the walkthrough. My bird had a little more momentum so that the 2 concrete blocks fell down through the piece of wood below them (instead of coming to rest on the bird like in the walkthrough), clearing out more of that section. The second bird was a high arc shot that I accelerated down just after the peak of the arc. He went right through the top-right pig and continued down into the TNT, which cleared out all the remaining pigs and the gift.

Odd. ON my samsung moment I can’t get the same “momentium” that you generate in this walkthrough. I can hit the same spot as the first bird but he only penetrates the board and one snowblock.

I did this with two birds, but with a different method than the one described by Jeff above.

My first shot was like the first in the walkthrough, except that it released the two stone blocks. This caused the wooden stuctures on the left side to slowly come down, along with a high percentage of the snow blocks.

The second shot was a high arc, coming down to clip the corner of the snow block where the high pig next to the cliff is sitting. The bird continued down to the “room” with the TNT.

I’ve managed this several times. Sometimes the present is popped, sometimes not. The score isn’t quite as high as Jeff’s, but there is certainly the potential for the scores in the 90s.

Similar to the above posted strategies, 2 birds
1st bird – like 2nd shot in video, to take out snow under 2 stacked stones. Ideally these 2 stones will fall, destroying cube of ice & coming to rest on top of wooden square over the present, perhaps even breaking through & taking present out, although this is not necessary. The important thing is the wood & stones from the top fall down killing top pig & pigs down the left side & lot of snow, I’ve seen virtually the whole left side go.
2nd bird, angle up to come down to snow upper right pig is on, down into square to blow TNT. Careful with the angle or YB will bounce off the wall & miss the TNT.
Got 91k, with a fair amount if snow left. I’ve also got 89k using all 3 birds & destoying virtually everything. Happy flinging!

Eliminating the 1st shot, using only 2nd and 3rd shots shown in the walkthrough in that same order.

I Shot the first bird higher than the video on top, just over the second pig, taking out the snow beneath the 2 stone blocked stacked up each other. The whole left side crumbled down. Second bird with a high arc thru the snow on the right, sending it all the way down to the TNT. One bird left and I got a score of 93250.

E-Star Thank you for providing the video. Used your alternative strategy and it worked great. Found that the debris fall after the first bird is the key for the higher score. It also opened the back right side up for the second bird from the high arc.

Whoa! Thank you for the vid @e-star :). Somehow I hit that first shot and it took all the piggies down! Lots more damage could have been done but it was still a one birdie. Go figure! :D

I finished this in 2 birds by going through the 2 horizontal stone blocks to get around 62k. 2nd bird – I shot trough the snow blocks to hit the TNT.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean @spongebob when you say you went “through” the stone blocks. Are you getting yellow bird to slice through the two horizontal stone rectangles stacked on top of each other or else wedge between them? Or did you mean the space with wood and snow way up at the top? – between the two sets of stone (square atop rectangle which is above the double rectangles of stone.) Any clarification you can offer would be appreciated – you got a great score!

I think the botto-to-top strategy will stump you, so you should avvoid it. Get the second to top pig out first (he is on the top right, but is not the top-most pig on the structure). Bricks fall, killing the top pig and those on the immediate left. You can do this with a couple of Chucks (name for the yellow bird, right?). Then arc to hit the tnt and obliterate everything on the lower right. I just feel like that first bird horizontal shot does less than what you can do having hellfire rain down and break the wood/snowpack below.

Going for @estar two bird strategy when I got a very fortuitous one birder. Slowish collapse and some debris was blown upwards to take out that stubborn little pig top right.
Trajectory is the same as @estar first bird.

For those using BlueStacks I followed the excellent @estar video and I used the tap spots for the first x 23.22 y 74.92 release in the area of x54.99 y49.5 and for the second shot it’s x25.47 y76.53 release at x65.3 y32.62. Other tap spots are available😂. GL with a Holly Dog
