1971, Sticky Fingers, Rolling Stones. Again, right in the middle of their purple patch of albums. Bit of a dodgy song I’m afraid but great memories of college discos down in the beer cellar where the sweat used to drip off the low ceiling.

Led Zep IV – by broad agreement their best album, again 1971.

Hunky Dory 1971!  It just doesn’t stop. Bowie’s best? 1972 has a lot of catching up to do. There’s more to come yet.
