There does seem to be a very low bar for what qualifies as entertainment these days.

A you know I’ve never been Wayne Rooney’s biggest fan but his summary of the halftime entertainment nailed it: “It was crap.”

He did the exact same thing after the Club World Cup held in the USA last summer.Infantessimal was trying to shoo him off the stage but I think he’s given up now.

Think that Brazil 0-0(AET) Italy stinker in 94? was worse but at least it didn’t end in gang violence.

Anyway, DJT said the event was four or five times better than anything else. Probably five.

Several French and English players in one of those close huddles together at the conclusion to the 6-4 thriller.

Several Argentina players attacking one Spanish player with fists and grappling of throat at the conclusion to the 1-0 torture.

I think that was the worst World Cup Final I have ever seen.

So we’re not long back from our biennial visit to Alton Towers and had to do it on the cheap this time.Booked one of the on site pods for two nights but they’re very small and with four of us in there it was very hot and sweaty(let’s be honest there’s nothing worse than sweaty pods).
