There’s no need to spend money on Jenga mode to earn coins by playing. Whenever you unlock a new TF, the “first try” level (the one where the TF is freed from the carbonite) doesn’t cost you any health. So the trick is to always get killed before finishing this first level. You can repeat unlimited times and earn coins, if you’re willing to spend the time. For instance, the Energon Lockdown level earns well over 700 coins on every try.
The downside is that once you “accidentally” finish the first level, there’s no way to repeat, so you have to be careful to always get killed.
