As with any computer program, updating any of the Angry Birds apps has some inherent risks. No matter what platform your own — iOS, Android, Intellivision — when you update an app a lot goes on behind the scenes. 99% of the time, everything works as desired, but sometimes things don’t. The goal of this guide is to help you in the event something goes horribly wrong. In some cases, these backup methods can ALSO be used to transfer your progress to another device. This way you don’t have to start from scratch. That said, as of now transferring progress only really works when the devices are the same (e.g. iOS to iOS, for example).
Universal Precaution: Do not remove (cut) any files! Here and throughout, we always say “copy”, which is what you should be doing: Select the files desired and copy/paste them to your desired backup location.
We don’t know the process for absolutely every device, but we will gladly add information if you have it! Leave a comment below.

General Information
Before delving into the specifics for each platform, we should begin by announcing the stars of the show: the .lua files! These nifty little encrypted files contain all of your progress, including stars, scores, feathers, and unlocked levels. The availability and exact location of these files vary by both app and platform, which is why we have so many sections below.
When manually backing up your progress, the following files are what you’ll be copying:
- highscores.lua
- settings.lua
- {purchases}.lua (if applicable, such as Space and Star Wars)
- highscores_<hash>.lua and settings_<hash>.lua (if applicable via Rovio Accounts; learn more!)
In general, we do not encourage transfers across different operating systems. Between like systems (iOS to iOS, Android to Android, PC to PC) poses absolutely no risk, but between platforms can be risky since not all information is compatible. Many users report no problem, but we are aware of several problems in doing this, so proceed at your own risk. The only 100% verified transfer between distinct platforms is iOS <–> Mac.
Update for Rovio Accounts: A “Cloud Sync” system has recently been unveiled in the Angry Birds universe. This system is called Rovio Accounts and does exactly what most users want: Automatic online storage of your progress! Unfortunately, no system is perfect, so we still recommend manually backing up your data. We outline how to do that in the release post for Rovio Accounts.
iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch
Update (12 August 2014): Our iOS backup & transfer guide has been updated to reflect changes made over the past few years. It’s an awesome resource for any Apple aficionado addicted to Angry Birds. There’s a brand new video which walks you through the basics of backing up and transferring your progress manually.
As always with iOS devices, we encourage you to backup via iTunes before messing around with data files on your own. If you are looking to recover data, we have a tutorial for how to restore your device using iTunes.
Note: Transferring between the “Standard Definition” and “High Definition” versions of iOS apps works perfectly fine, though you must purchase the apps separately.
Windows PC
The following are directions on how to backup the Angry Birds apps from download.angrybirds.com. Again, you’ll want to copy the following files: highscores.lua, settings.lua, and {purchases}.lua if applicable. The more important question is “where” the heck are these files? The filepath may differ a little based on your version of Windows, but the typical paths are:
Windows XP = C:\Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Rovio (or Rovio Entertainment Ltd)\
Windows Vista or 7 = C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Rovio (or Rovio Entertainment Ltd)\
Windows 8 = see below
Some of these folders may be hidden, so typing manually into the address bar should help when necessary. Alternatively, you can change your folders settings so that hidden files and folders become visible.
Once you’ve accessed the correct directory copy the contents to another folder. This will act as your backup. If you want to be extra safe you can also copy the files to an external drive or use a service like Dropbox.
Disclaimer: The data files for iOS and PC are indeed different than Windows. If you try to transfer files from iOS to PC or vice-versa, things may not work correctly. The most obvious reason is that iOS keeps track of things like achievements and in-app purchases, while PC keeps track of whether you have activated the full version or not. These concepts are not inter-compatible.
Mac
The data files for Mac have moved around in recent updates, so we apologize if things have moved again. As with the previous versions, the files of interest are highscores.lua, settings.lua, and {purchases}.lua if applicable. Depending on your version of OS X, the files should be located in the following paths:
On Mac OS 10.6.6, Snow Leopard:
ABo, Rio, Seasons, Space, Star Wars: ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/com.rovio.mac.{app}/
On Mac OS 10.7, Lion:
ABo and Rio: ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/com.rovio.mac.{app}/
Seasons and Space: ~/Library/Containers/com.rovio.mac.{app}/Data/Library/ApplicationSupport/ com.rovio.mac.{app}/
Mac and iOS: You should be able to transfer data between Apple systems without much difficulty. The Mac data files and iOS data files are compatible with each other. If this interests you, the iOS transfer guide has a video at the end regarding Mac, though again the filepath may be a bit different and you should include settings.lua in your process. There may be some side-effects with some iOS-exclusive things, such as achievements and the Mighty Eagle.
Android
Update (28 May 2013): We have just published a brand new, extremely detailed and comprehensive guide for backing up progress on both rooted and non-rooted Android devices, valid through the Jelly Bean operating system and possibly beyond! The article is a bit lengthy and the process may be a bit challenging depending on your device, but it’s certainly worthwhile if you need to backup or transfer from your Droid. Click here for the guide!
Windows 8 Store
Unfortunately, no admins here have a Windows 8 computer. In fact, Slim may be the only one who has PC versions of Angry Birds, though we of course support all users. Some users have reported issues when running Rovio’s standalone games (from download.angrybirds.com) on Windows 8 devices. Instead, most games are available via the Windows 8 Store. Backing up your progress here is as easy as locating the data files:
Space: C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Packages\1ED5AEA5.AngryBirdsSpace_p2gbknwb5d8r2\RoamingState
Star Wars: C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Packages\1ED5AEA5.AngryBirdsBlack_p2gbknwb5d8r2\LocalState
Chrome, Google+ and other HTML5 Mini-Games
There are a lot of variants for these directions, so we initially point you toward our Chrome backup and sync guide. That post is extraordinarily specific and comprehensive for backing up Chrome, broken down both by web browser and by operating system. Fortunately, most of the other web apps — such as “Angry Birds Volcano” and “Pistachios” — store their data in precisely the same way. Follow the applicable filepath as found in the Chrome backup guide. Instead of looking for a file resembling “chrome.angrybirds.com”, look for files resembling the web app you are interested in. For a few examples, here are a few filenames for web apps using the Chrome browser (where # means the numbers may vary a bit):
Volcano = http_fazer##-dot-latest-dot-angrybirds-fazer.appspot.com_#.localstorage
Pistachio = http_angrybirds-pistachios.appspot.com_#.localstorage
Important!
Many of the newest web based versions of Angry Birds actually use Flash, instead of HTML5. These versions don’t store your progress locally — or at least not in a way that is accessible. Rather, your progress is stored in the cloud, so no backup should be necessary.
I transferred my .lua files from my HTC (android) phone to my ipad and it works.
It is something I did not expect.
(and it is the same with igo maps)
I have been working on a sort of walkthrough for another Nester here and have succeeded as well. So it is possible to transfer files from an Android to an Apple device :)
The backup for Android can be easily done with an App downloaded from Google Play. I tested 3 apps and all of them make copies of the .lua files on the device that can be accessed without having to install a terminal. Just hook up the device to the computer and the files are there in separate folders in the device folder. Which can be copied to the computer. and after that transfered to the Apple device using iExplorer. The one I used to test it thoroughly was “Angry Backup for the Birds”.
The other way around (from Apple to Android, I know who wants to go back from a Apple to an Android, hahaha), “Angry Backup for the Birds” app didn’t want to put back the Apple scores… The other one “Angry Birds Backup 2 SD” (this one doesn’t have Star Wars yet and renames the files, meaning you will have to rename them as well before putting them back) did accept Apple scores.
The walkthrough I made is finished, but I haven’t had anyone test it other than myself, so I am reluctant to place it in the forum. Don’t want to be the cause of major progress loss here at the Nest :s
@e-star I’d be more than just grateful to you if you put your walkthrough “how to transfer datas from Apple to android”. I have all levels completed on iPad but not on my android phone.
@cosmo2503 I am more than happy to share it with, but I have the walkthrough the other way around Android to Apple finished. Unfortunately I can’t reverse that walkthrough, due to the fact that App doesn’t want to take on the apple scores. But I would be happy to look into it, no problem. Also I need to find a way to share the info. I have a very neat looking walkthrough, but I used html to make a summary and headings, which the PMs aren’t excepting. So maybe I will post it in the forum and put a big sign telling its a Beta walkthrough.
I will let you know when I have it finished. Not home right know, so it will probabely be tomorrow.
Just had a stroll around ABN and there are a lot of backup and progress replacement walkthroughs for different devices (didn’t need them, so I didn’t searched for them earlier). Not sure if this particular proces (Android to Apple) is out there in the different walkthroughs here on ABN. So to avoid confusion I will save my walkthrough and not make a new discussion. But if anyone needs it, just let me know.
I forgot the Android device is lent out to a friend, so I am unable to make the walkthrough Apple to Android just yet. I hope to have it back next weekend and will get on it if you are still interested.
A very useful post, and I’d recommend backing up regularly to everyone! You don’t know how useful it was when I lost my progress on Rio, and then Seasons a couple of months later. iTunes backup worked one of the times, but not the other, so don’t rely on it! :)
Totally agree… I’ve lost my progress once on seasons and almost on Space too when the bugged Fry Me to the Moon update for Mac came out… Backup!
So I finally installed all four games on my wife’s laptop running Leopard os 10.6.8.
The folders for all four AB games are located in ~username~/Library/ApplicationSupport/com.rovio.mac.{app}/
The only difference on Lion os 10.7 is AB Space and AB Seasons. The folders were moved to another location: ~username~/Library/Containers/com.rovio.mac.{app}/Data/Library/ApplicationSupport/ com.rovio.mac.{app}/
Note1: You must access those files from your Home folder (~username~) and not from the MacintoshHD folder on Leopard 10.6.
Note2: To access the Library folder on Lion 10.7, open Finder – Click on “Go” from top Menu Bar – While clicking, press the “alt” button on your keyboard, this will reveal the Library folder in the pulldown menu, which is otherwise hidden.
cc: @BirdLeader and @AMslimfordy sorry for the confusion.
You know more about Mac than I do. Would you be able to edit the post to reflect this?
sure
One important note for PC users: before beginning the process of backing up *.lua files, ensure that your AB games are shut down completely, thus not loaded in memory. If they are running, and you try to copy the files, Windows will abort the process uncompleted, as it considers those files to be in use under that circumstance and will fail to copy them.
This is important since the *.lua are not given system file attributes, the copy failure doesn’t automatically generate the MessageBox alerts in all circumstances.
Question please,,, I transfer all ab from iPhone to iPad 3 and the stars are all good, scores per episode are koi and alleagles are oki…. BUT .. The total score on the games center and some achievements don’t show up at all :( any ideas??
Give it a little time. GameCenter can lag quite a bit
Once I reinstalled Angry Birds Space on my Android because I downloaded it from GetJar.
I backupped ABSpace before I reinstalled it.
When I restored it,it worked!
Now,my father accidentally uninstalled all the games on the Android.
Can I still restore my progress?
i think u should install the game again and use your backup
where is the date .lua? i looked there but its not even visible
Only in Seasons and only if you have played through one of the “Advent calendar”-style episodes at initial release (ie, Seasons Greedings, Summer Pignic, or Wreck the Halls at the episode’s initial release).
I had the problem of Seasons not automatically updating. I will try the manual install procedure. One thing I am lost with….once I copy the necessary files to another folder, what do I do with them once they are there. Are they then copied back into the newly downloaded demo version to make it current and keep my scores?? I am confused with this part!! Any help anyone!!??
Only if necessary. In all likelihood, your update will go perfectly fine and all your scores will remain intact. But it’s always good to have a backup :)
THANKS!!! Did the manual update and file copy and all worked out well. As suggested, everything updated just fine….but it was good knowing the backups were there!
On Maemo/Nokia N900 highscore.lua and settings.lua are found in /var/opt/rovio/angrybirds/
@amslimfordy
Hi, another question-
I’m playing ToT on iPhone at the moment. There’s a particular level (2-6 to be exact) that I can’t get the score I want. I just got it on the HD version which I don’t normally play. So my question is, can I combine this one particular score with the rest of my SD scores using the methods you’ve outlined above? If so, is it ethical to do this?
Thanks in advance
Individual scores cannot be transferred. Only the “lot” of them.
I installed angry birds and angry birds space on my i9100. I then bought the in app ad removal packs. After a while I updated my phone to jellybean and now I get ads in the games, even attempting to buy the ad removal packs fails on me. Any suggestions?
You should contact Rovio directly with as many details as possible. Note that we have had several reports about Jelly Bean and Angry Birds having issues in general, such as exploding levels, but we have no advice to offer besides this contact suggestion. Sorry.
How do I transfer my progress from iPhone 4 (running on OS 4) to iPhone 5? Do I follow the same steps as above? Thks!
Yes, exactly the same. There is no real difference between different iPhones.
Any idea to restore score in Android Jelly Bean?
For Android Jelly Bean user. Jelly Bean has changed read/write permission. You are not able to backup or restore apps except rooting. Using Android Debugging Bridge (adb) is not working as well.
Also Google has pull off some backup apps in Play Store due to “Angry Birds” name trademark.
ICS how? And using above suggest ‘connectbot’ is ok?
I’ve got good news & bad news for Jelly Bean user.
I’m able to backup & restore high scores in my un-rooted Xoom. Bad news they are only works for AB original & AB Rio. The permission is just denied for AB Seasons & Space Free/Premium.
So I lost most of my AB Space score, & only Pig Bang saved before updated into Jelly Bean.
ICS (for root or un-root phone) shouldn’t be any problem & works for all AB. I managed to restore Pig Bang score into my GS3 (ICS).
Connectbot is Shell program run in your phone, basically same result as ADB.
If your device is already rooted, I found another way:
1. Download root browser lite (or another root file manager)
2. Go to data>data>com.rovio.••• (example: com.rovio angrybirdsspaceads)>files
3. Copy the files to your SD card
To restore your progress:
1. Delete .lua files on the files folder
2. Copy the files from your SD card
I know, this is quite dangerous, so BE CAREFUL for managing these files.
NOTE: to not confuse you which is the .lua files for each app, rename it or make a folder. To restore the .lua files, rename it back to that file’s default name
can I move the .lua ABO higscore file from my PC, to my android device?
No, same warning as for iOS.
ok, thanks
Yes, you can. I do it all the time in all AB games and BP. In fact I have an automatic sync using DropBox between two Windows PCs and two Android devices so I always have the games in sync.
Copy settings and highscores (and bi-data on ABo) and all should work just fine.
As we say in the post, the files do not contain the same information. This should be highly discouraged.
I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be disrespectful, and I don’t know where you get your information from, but Android and PC versions (I don’t know about other systems) do contain the same common information, and the one that is specific to one system (like window position on the PC, for example) is not touched by the other, so nothing is ever lost.
I would recommend copying from Android to PC first, since on your first copy you will lose your registration, but then is simply a matter on reentering your registration code again. After that the game will be the full version (if you have it, of course) on both devices.
But continuous transfers will cause your codes for PC to expire, which will render the process void.
In Angry Birds Classic PC the new file to back-up progress: Check this photo: http://angrybir.de/SOAkDu The file called Bi-Data.lua
Already been reported. We won’t be changing anything here until we figure out what it does. Thanks for the report.
The contents of bi-data shouldn’t be important, it is something like this:
{removed by admin}
Thanks for the info. Indeed, not needed.
AMslimfordy you helped me in this regard once before so I am returning to your AB genius to help again if possible. In Angry Bird Space I have completed every Space Eagle & received every feather, but my Pig Bang shows 28/30 & my Red Planet shows 19/20. Have transferred to an iPad to see if it would make any difference & trigger the update, but ran into the same problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if in the wrong spot. Looked for your e-mail & too much to type out on Twitter. Thanks!
This is perfectly fine Tim. (Though if you every need to ask me something off the record, my email is probably what you’d expect.)
Anyways. Transferring data shouldn’t effect this feather count. Instead, the issue is that there are two sizes of feathers in Angry Birds Space.
• “Small” feather if 1% < Eagle Score < 99%;
• “Full” feather if Eagle Score = 100%.
Unfortunately, the actual size of these feathers are not drastically different — as I think they should be if Rovio wants this sort of system. Nonetheless, check your level selection screen closely to find your 3 “small” feathers.
I feel dumb now, but thank you again for your help.
Oh no, don’t feel dumb at all. Like I said, while there IS a size difference, it’s impossible to see unless you are specifically looking for it.
Hi!
I’m moving to a new PC and am having problems taking my AB progress with me… I’ve copied all of the relevant folders, but can’t get AB Classic and Rio to update.
In Rio when I copy over my old highscores.lua to the new PC, my score is the same as it was, but all the screens (except for the first one) are locked.
Any ideas on how to solve that?
Thanks!
You should be manually copying the highscores and settings .lua files. The settings file is what will lock/unlock levels.
Alright I got one more question. I recently transferred all my iPhone data to my iPad. I followed all the instructions including the different instructions for Seasons & Space. Everything worked perfectly except my achievements in AB Space. The scores all transferred over & even registered in Game Center, but my achievements say 0 out of 42. I gave this 5 days to reconcile before trying it again & still it says 0 out of 42. Any help would be awesome!
Sometimes replaying a few levels can help. Otherwise, an app update usually helps trigger achievements.
Ok @amslimfordy, here is a really basic question. Is syncing my ipad with iTunes on my PC the same as backing up? I have transferred progress between devices using your guide to the .lua files before, but now that I am just using one device, is the sync backing up my progress? Thanks, better safe than sorry.
Theoretically, syncing with iTunes should back up your progress. However, in the event that something were to go wrong, I would not necessarily want to restore my entire iPad to the last point of sync. I play a lot of different games and wouldn’t want ALL of their progress rolled back.
Thanks, Slim, stay dry.
please I need help
i have Iphone and i want to buy android but i dont want to loss my angry birds progress
is that way will work
please advice me
thanks
In general, we do not advice moving files between different platforms. Also, you should be aware that accessing these file locations on Android is not an easy task.
Well, there is a way and I have a walkthrough for getting the Android backup safely to an apple device. No terminal on Android needed. I will post a thread in the forum. But note, that only I (from the Netherlands) have tried this and it worked, but I haven’t had any of the USA citizens try my walkthrough, so I am not sure how timezone/language proof it will be. But I guess I will never know If I don’t post my walkthrough.
I have posted the walkthrough in the forum section
Here is the link to the thread
Again, only tested by myself, so not sure how timezone/language proof it will be. Any feedback is appreciated.
So I just got today my new phone and guess what, it’s an iPhone 5! :-O
No more crying for late Android releases or similar concerns! :P
And of course while I was buying the iPhone the major question was: “How do I transfer my Angry Birds progress from Android to iOS?”
While waiting for the phone to ship, I went through all related discussions here on angrybirdsnest and the foundings where very discouraging… According to what I could find in quite old threads and comments, the lua files where differently encrypted and incompatible. Searching across google though, I was able to find one single android forum thread where a guy was claiming that he managed to do the Android to iPhone transfer without a problem.
…And, what do you know, it seems to work indeed!! The most difficult part is to get the data files from the Android device. I don’t know how easy it is across different devices and different versions of Android and I don’t really trust the backup/restore apps (a lot of malware out there), so I can’t claim that I have a universal solution for that.
In my case I just followed the developer’s way, and pulled the data files using the developers tools (Android SDK), which is possible without rooting (at least on my device – HTC Desire running Android 2.2), given that you know the names and the locations of the data files — and we do thanks to ABN! :-)
In a nutshell:
1) Pull data files from Android to your PC/Mac, using your own favorite backup method.
2) Install on your PC/Mac one of the iPhone file browsers, mentioned in the above guide (iExplorer etc).
3) Install Angry Birds on your iOS device and play at least one level so the data files can be created.
4) Replace the iOS device’s data files with those you pulled from the Android device, using the file browser program from step 2.
5) Restart Angry Birds, enjoy:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– High score restored: 100%
– Golden eggs restored: 100%
– Feathers restored: 100%
– Achievements: Since Android has no achievements, it’s not clear how achievements should be handled. In my case, I got 34/60 just when I opened the app. I read from other comments that achievements are generally tricky after a restore and one should wait for a new update for them to be fixed.
Disclaimer: The above method is highly experimental. I have only tried it so far with Angry Birds Original and Where’s My Water. In both cases, I first purchased all extra content (in app purchases) like mighty eagle and completed one level, before replacing the data files.
I will feel more sure about the results of this method when a future update succeeds as well (cause you never know).
I will now try to do the same with Seasons, Rio and Space and report the results.
PS. If people are generally interested in replicating the above, and don’t feel comfortable with my vague instructions, let me know and maybe I can write down a more detailed guide! :-)
And it works fine for every app! :-)
Apart from the achievements which were expected to be tricky since Android has none, everything else has been transfered with 100% success (or at least it seems so).
Here’s the breakdown:
AB Original:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– High scores: 100%
– Golden eggs: 100%
– Feathers: 100%
– Achievements earned: 34/60
AB Seasons:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– High scores: 100%
– Golden eggs: 100%
– Feathers: 100% of those available on Android right now (Year of the Dragon)
– Achievements earned: 30/58
AB Rio:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– High scores: 100%
– Trophy levels: 100%
– Feathers: None since Android has no feathers on Rio yet
– Achievements earned: 52/65
AB Space:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– High scores: 100%
– Golden eggsteroids: 100%
– 3 star levels: 100%
– Space eagle levels: 100%
– Feathers: 100%
– Mighty eagles purchased on Android: 100% (Not sure how legal is that — but I spent $20 on them, pity to let them rot)
– Achievements earned: None yet :-(
Bad Piggies:
– 3 stars restored: 100%
– Skulls: Not sure yet, will find out in the next update
– Contraptions: 100%
– Sandbox levels: 100%
– Achievements earned: None yet :-( (iOS version has a separate data file for achievements not present in Android)
Hi !
I just bought Angry Birds – Star Wars HD and i want to know if is there a way to keep my Angry Bird – Star Wars (not HD) progression ?
Thx :)
It depends on your device, but I believe your question will be answered in the relevant posts above.
I just had to replace my Kindle Fire(unrooted) and was trying to find a reliable app for backing up my AB scores. I found an app called “angry backup” on Google Play-the developer is Whitney Champion. I had to sideload the app onto my Kindle by installing it onto my phone then transferring the app to my laptop. I connected my Kindle to my computer and copied the app onto both my old Kindle and my new Kindle. It worked perfectly for all 4 AB games (not an app for Star Wars, yet). You have to register and then you are good to go. You can use the same user name for all of the different apps.
It was actually pretty easy to do, just took about 30 minutes from start to finish for all 4 games. It was definitely better than months of playing all levels from scratch.
One thing I discovered- after playing a level on your new device, be certain that you close the game before attempting to download the scores. I didn’t do that on one game and nothing transferred.
I have tried a few other back up apps, but never had much success. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. You can store backups on your sd card and also online.
I hope this helps someone :).
I can locate the .lua files for the first four AB games, but not for Star Wars HD. Using ES File Manager, I can search for and find everything EXCEPT the Star Wars files. I can’t even find a folder where the SW files might be stored.
I’ve downloaded the app Angry Birds Series Backup, which says it works for Star Wars, but the app can’t detect that the Star Wars app is installed on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-T989, Android 4.0.4).
Any thoughts or insights on how I can locate the SW .lua files to back them up? Thanks.
I want to move the installation from drive c:\ to drive d:\ in order to save some disk space in c:\
Can anyone help?
I would say a Google search for directions may be more beneficial. You will likely find results there that are more universal.
I use Samsung Galaxy S Advance, on the menu go to Applications -> My Files -> On the folder named Android
Thanks, Dewanto, but the Samsung Galaxy S2 doesn’t work that way (assuming you were responding to me).
Please remember to use the “Reply” buttons to keep threads in tact, you two.
Sorry, I must need new glasses. Didn’t even notice it. I’ll do better in the future!
S II with S Advance not same and different version on Android OS
S Advance ( I-9070 )using Gingerbread Version
S II ( I-9100 )using Jelly Bean Version
Try this apps, Angry Birds backup 2 sd, i use this for my new device, space only work for free version.
Can share the link for download?
My Android is getting older now and I’m planning to go for a newer iPod Touch, so I’ll need to switch platforms. From what I’ve read (not quite in-depth yet, but scanned over) it looks like Android to iOS should work OK, which is a great weight off my mind :) I don’t mind playing through the levels again but that’s about two years of saves I’d be ditching, and that hurts xD
Mac to IOS should – I hope – work much the same way (logically more chance than Android?) so I can lump Star Wars on the new device too.
If this works it’ll be so awesome. I’m going shopping!
Can someone please answer this question:
I have seen the Android back-up method above but other than backing-up my scores(my sister’s scores actually), can i back-up space eagle purchases? There are 1045 now(she bought the 19.99$ pack). It would be nice if along with scores and feathers the number of eagles would also come back after I format her phone and reinstall Space.
Yes, there is such a file. It should be in the same location as the highscores and settings files.
What do I need to type in Connectbot to retrieve the purchase files? Thank you in advance.
I don’t understand your question.
He say to copying the file by Connectbot.
Actually i mean just like we have to root our Android device, and there is a reference above to use ConnectBot. Then we have to type some commands(written above) for the high-scores and the settings files. What I am asking is what command do we have to give in ConnectBot so that we can get the space eagle purchase file. I mean there should be a specific syntax, I just need to know the syntax of the command. Thank you for your time.
