Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine Level 1-30 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine level 1-30 is to launch Obi-Wan through the southern hemisphere, aiming for the first pig-trooper. Initiate the Force upon impact to send blocks flying towards the remaining pigs.

Managed the high score of 50,810 following the video method.

Congrats @gsherbon! I wasn’t able to get that much destruction. I got spoiled with the preceding levels having several ways to score high. Not so on this level, at least that I can find. I followed the video on this level.

I too, followed the video method, although the results are never the same, so I keep on truckin’.

The trick seems to be to keep as much debris in the gravity field as possible.

Best aim spot is almost level and use the very top slightly tinted blue arc to launch obi.. then use forsce clicking top right trooper at the moment of impact… this fairly consistently yields 47k scores

Did almost the same strategy, I aimed right on the Trooper on the bottom right, let Obi dig in the structure as far as possible, then used the Forced with the crosshairs on the top right Trooper. Gave me a score of 48k. :D

Did this and aimed at the pig farthest away on the planet and got 48,830 after several tries. I’m sure I could get a higher score if I keep trying it this way. Make sure Obi goes deep and breaks into that clear middle section. I also aimed above that farthest pig on the planet halfway between the pig’s head and the edge of the atmosphere.

I improved +2,3K to 48.170 on the run. Try to beat it but made only 48.000. Not moment for this work now for me. Taping force point deeper.

I tapped much deeper too..

Here’s a neat trick: aim toward the outer boundary of the gravity field, so Obi stays in orbit but doesn’t impact anything on the first pass. He’ll do one complete orbit of the planet, then bear down on the debris. Release the force right upon impact. I got 44240 with this, and it’s neat to watch.

I noticed that if you’re lucky enough to get any of the three asteroids to drop to the surface you can get a little more destruction. It’s not easy to do – pretty random, but it helps.

Combined @lord-elrond and @kartflyer to consistently score 45k+, but have yet to break 48k. Specifically aim Obi Bird’s dotted tracer such that the arc just penetrates below the outer (third) blue arc of the planet. Let Obi penetrate as deep as possible then activate the Force centered on the Pig Trooper that is outside of the Gravity Field.

Wow @justpast40 it’s been a while since I played this one & I’m in a weak internet connection location. I’ll see if I can remember what I did. Obviously one hint is my reply to a comment earlier. I’ll see if I can be more specific than that.

Without actually flinging, just looking at the walkthrough video, I’d say I probably aimed Obi pretty much the same. My comment above means that I directed the force much deeper into the structure pile than the video. Generally I find that his force is more effective when you direct it in the direction he is looking. Timing is also crucial though I can’t be more specific than that now. I hope this helps! Have fun & good luck!

@justpast40, I flung a couple of birds this morning to try and remember what I did. As best I can tell I did this…… Obi’s trajectory was such that he ended up in the hollowed out area of the structure. Wait until he is at the north corner to activate the force. Force activation point was the two stacked triangles next to the upper pig. You may have to adjust this a little to ensure the following happens. Clearing the debris means nothing on this level. Stuff that flies into space scores no points. So that being said, you want some of the debris to smash into the asteroids while some hits the left and upper pigs. On occasion the debris will send an asteroid crashing to the planet (this is where those really difficult seemingly impossible few extra points come from). It’s really just a matter of repeating the same shot over and over till something good happens. I managed a couple of 50’s using this method this morning.
Hope you find at least a morsel of useful information that can help you.

Thanks @abcrazy & @wicket182. Last night when I managed 49700 on iPhone the larger asteroid had fallen. I’m losing too much debris, so back to square one it is.

@abcrazy, I don’t know. Lately I’ve been playing a bunch of “their” daily challenge levels while hoping for new ABSW levels. It’s kept me from being bored but I much more enjoy the ABSW.
