Golden Droid #5 (aka, Golden Egg) is located on Level 2-33 of Angry Birds Star Wars Death Star. The Golden Droid is above the main structure, well protected. Use one or two Hans through the small gap on the north side of the level, shooting the Droid and its enclosure with his blaster. Once you hit the droid, you’ll immediately be transported via a hyperdrive to the level. Anyhow, if you need help, the video below shows the location of the Golden Droid on level 2-33 and how to pass Droid level #5 (D-5) with 3 stars.

Thanks for the location and the video – I couldn’t find this one and got it quickly with your strat!
The key to breaking 60k on D-5 is destroying most or all of the tower as well as launching the Rube Goldberg machine.
Here’s how: Launch C-3PO at the lowest possible arc to clear the planet. At the cloest to Moustache, detonate. This should pop him to set off the chain, as well as pop the sand block to drop the tower. Depending on how well you do this, you’ll either have the tower completely destroyed or parts of some metal blocks remaining.
10k bonus for R2-D2. :D
Nice work @brave1966! I wasn’t sure I’d even get above the average at first, then I scrolled down to do a bit of reading!
Thanks @TruckDriver! Time to see if I can crank out a few more K. :)
Nice. Couldn’t have done it without ya!
Actually the angle you shoot does not matter that much. Where you explode C3P0 is critical. You will see a small sliver from him continues to the middle of the tower. If it hits the wood block you will likely get full distruction. If it hits the ice block…maybe. Any other block will not.
In 10 minutes I have gotten at least 5 scores in the 64380 to 65040 range using angles from right against the planet to probably 30 degs above it.
Thanks @brave1966:) i couldn’t know what to do my video wasn’t working yourstrat got me above average:)
WTG @Kathy! Now I need to work on boosting my score! ;)
many thx for details @brave1966
here a video with 64k:
https://youtu.be/XBnGpiowHpw
Thanks @Brave I couldn’t work out how to get the tower to go!
You’re welcome @mumsie42! That one took a lot of trial & error to figure out. :)
64540 – it also helps if some of the cog teeth on the spinning orb get broken by falling debris.
Yes, it’s true. Twice time I sompletly cleared a tower on left planet: 65.370 (#2 :) and 63,5K.
First part (2-33) I made with one shoot by ricochet inside Droid box.
if you shoot a bit later, closer to the first pig almost past it you take out the tower my score was 63560
Thanks!I have try, try, and try before, but now it doesn’t work. But now i can thanks to that video.
To kill d-5 droid how do I get Hans to fire after they’ve bounced off the structure as the video shows?
Hans’ ability can be triggered very shortly after impact with a structure.
Worked on 2nd try. Thank you!
But once the Han Solo bird hits any surface or object, he loses the ability to fire. So if he bounces off of the planet… Done. I don’t see how you did that. I mean, I see the evidence, but it cannot be duplicated on this end. Maybe there was a change to the app?
“once the Han Solo bird hits any surface or object, he loses the ability to fire”
Not entirely true Mark. You can still trigger the birds ability shortly after impact. A split second really.
Thanks Brave1966 – I managed 63680 thanks to your strategy. I don’t know what I’d do without all the extra help from this community.
@sepi1 any hints on higher score? I can’t get past 64380 seems to be a stuck score? Any help appreciated:)
Kathy, I’m sorry, but I don’t remember how I did it. I do remember that I got the score on one of my very first tries and was astonished that I did so well. Just a lucky shot, I guess. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
Thanks for reply @sepi1 nice score you got:) i ended up doing o.k :)
I would have said its due to breaking the spokes on the round thing along with breaking the entire “wall” but once again this level is a whacky one with points! I got a higher score when I had a pane of glass and a few blocks left and some spokes missing and a lower score when some spokes were gone and only a couple blocks were left! I give up! I’m taking my score and moving on!
Aim very slightly higher, at least as far as I could see, and I got d5 with the first bird, for those of us who have type A personalities. Hmm, wonder if type A personalities refers to the A in angry birds…
Oops, typo meant el droido on one bird
Replaying Star Wars and I was stuck in the low 65k’s on this level for days. Then tried something different. I launched C3PO on the same low trajectory, but activated him before he even reached the usual trigger point – at about the 2:30 position on his route – such that a piece of him fell onto the spinning cog in the center of the four planetnoids. Another piece hit the trigger pig, and a third piece bounced off of the left planet into the brown cube closest to the surface. Took a few tries to get that tower to collapse, but when it did, that plus extra damage points caused by the piece of 3PO that hit the cog gave me 66k – at last!
