Very similar to video, only I shot into the bottom left corner earlier, just as I was passing over. Was able to get a couple of 110K+ scores for a very early high which won’t last long

I haven’t watched the video, but this sounds like what I’ve been doing too. Aim to hit the blaster droid and shot at the bottom left corner as I was passing at about 45 degree angle over it.

I did like @abcrazy. Got lucky when blaster droid traversed from right end to left end blasting the whole top side.

This approach worked better for me too @kevinhershberge. I couldn’t even get 3* doing it two different ways that I had been working with. I just had the problem was in getting the blaster droid to also tumble around throwing lasers – this time it worked.

For current top score, I made sure that Mace Windu’s rays ricocheted and killed all the pigs as well as ignited the TNT, so all the blaster droid had to do was score damage points.

I repeated the strategy of the video.
It was an angle of the laser ball to be important, but I exterminated the pigs early and did not get a further score by time-out.
If time-out was long in another five seconds, the scores more than 120K were possible.

Aim as in video, but shoot at the TNT when you’re in a good diagonal path to it.
You’ll clear a lot out this way.

After trying all the different aiming points the TNT in the upper right corner as @playdbird suggested is my preference for seeming to return the greatest destruction. However the final score is entirely dependent on how the blaster droid rotates with no apparent way to predictably control that outcome. I’ve tried to fire Mace Windu at the blaster droid at less than full power with limited success in causing the droid to slowly rotate the shots through the battlefield but in the end it still comes down to “luck”. And I’m still looking to score that lucky shot…..

I was fight lower then video, by bubbled pig. Object was to push and rotate Cannon. TNT explosion rotate it again or keep moving alongside. Once I take of almost lowest wall at all.

I’m of course at 1B (116.5K) but my best 3B was 106.3K so scores over 126K will shows sonner or later after a lot of repetition.

I had best results when I sent Mace to bump into the droid blaster like in the video but I shot his lasers straight up through the wooden ball when he was under the center of it. I got tired of it being in the way blocking some of the ricocheting lasers so I decided to eliminate it ;-) Worked out pretty well.
These are some hard levels so far and seemed to be based mostly on the “L” factor with a little common sense thrown in for good measure, lol 8-D

Thanks @lesleyg your strat worked best for me, seemed to last a bit longer aiming at the upper left corner through the wooden ball. Still need to work on this one a bit though, definitley need the ‘L’ factor no whining heyol

PC users: Unless one of you manages to top 118k today, this level is going on the list of potential cursed levels. :) I’m not sure if it’s a shorter timeout, or lower damage, or what, but there does seem to be something score-affecting going on with it.

@kelani– I just finished reading your post. I was playing today’s Challenge, on my PC, a little while ago & scored 123,090. The scores were all over the place. A lot of times the droid blaster gets taken out by his own blasts. On my current high score round, the blaster parked in the lower far-right “pocket”, shooting towards the lower far-left ” pocket” when the tnt was detonated. The wall of blocks below the tnt got pushed down into the droid blaster, turning it enough to send its rays all over the place, doing a lot of damage.
My best score,so far,on my Thrive tablet is just over 112,000.
Happy flinging.

@meanguy wow, congrats on the great score, and thanks for the info. My blaster never went into that pocket until I altered Mace’s blast so one laser would take out the pig blocking the way. I guess there must be a sweet spot hiding out there.. Either that, or your PC learned that exploding level trick from your Thrive :)

@kelani– Thank you. So far I haven’t experienced exploding levels on my PC,which is still running Windows XP,though I have read about problems with Win8 in various forums. I think that some trouble with the Thrive is attributed to the most recent operating system update called ICS. It took a couple of years for Toshiba to provide upgrades for Thrive owners.

After trying the different strategies that have been posted,I went my own way. When I launch Mace,I aim him at the blaster droid. As he passes over the lower left vader bubble,I send his rays straight into the top of the lower right vader bubble, clearing the way for the blaster droid into the corner. Sometimes the blaster droid goes into the pocket, other times it stops just above the pocket. Then I sit back, watch,& hope for the best. I hope this helps.

Nothing new to add to the general strategy of aiming to hit the blaster orb and shooting into one of the corners (I favored the bottom left) but it was kind of satisfying watching all those ricochets.
