Angry Birds Space Pig Dipper bonus level S-15 is unlocked by 3-starring levels 6-11 through 6-20 of Pig Dipper. One strategy is to send the Egg between the anchor and water on the western planet. Trigger the wormhole below the central anchor. Slowly, the boats will fall into gravitational fields and explosions. If all three boats are cleared with one shot, 3 stars should be yours! The score in the video below is 130,460.
Raft and Anchor Glitch
Current Version Status: v1.5.2 on iOS still allows the glitch to operate properly.
Below is a video demonstrating the “Raft and Anchor” glitch, first noted by @annach and taken a whole new level by @kinkykiwi (just check out her score!). While the video below does not yield many points, it’s a proof of concept that if the raft survives for a decent amount of time, high scores are possible. For reference in the paragraph below, I call the three boats B1 (north), B2 (east), and B3 (south). The “Raft” is attached to B1.
The glitch is a bit rare, but repeatable to some standard. Fling the Egg through the water south of the first planet, triggering the wormhole as soon as it touches the TNT. The key to the glitch occurring is having the raft shoot hard eastward, hitting an invisible wall it seems and slowly falling to the northern planetoid. The most notable way that this happens is when the anchor of B2 pulls the anchor of B1 while drifting into the northern gravitational field. Points accrue by the anchors slowly pushing on the raft. In the video below, I believe points accrue too fast, causing the raft to structurally fail very quickly. With a bit of “Kiwi Luck”, much higher scores are possible.
We encourage you to adjust the viewing settings of the video below. Since the action occurs behind the scores in the top-right corner, viewing the video in full screen and adjusting the resolution to its highest setting (720p HD) is advised. You may need to view the video directly on YouTube to change some of these settings.
Disclaimer: Any score in excess of 160,000 will require definitive proof, at least a comment and a screenshot, but possibly more at administrative request. Any score not meeting these requirements will be removed and, if abused repeatedly, the user will be blocked from the leaderboard. Decided to try the glitch last night – I found the most reliable trigger was to shoot at he north edge of the water so bird jumps out on the southeast soide of the second planet and dives back in along the rocks, then detonate at the last rock under the north TNT. Lower ship goes top lower right world, its TNT explodes on contact with gravity well and pushes middle ship ti upper gravity well and its anchor hits 3rd boat into gravity well and iys anchor whips around and severs the pig on the raft to float down. Then it is luck and persistance getting the pig to circle without getting destroyed. Took an hour or two once I could reliable sever the floater.

well I’m just getting around to this level since the COD level is impossible to rank on and have tried all day to get the glitch just once after trying all the strats and tips above I have nada. this is my official *whine* and additionally an added *bwaahhhah* as my eyes have been reduced to tears trying to make it happen. I think the glitch is *much* harder to reproduce than the length of the thread above would have one believe.
Mucho Kudos to those that have achieved the AA badge *and* stuck with this level long enough to get it!
It took me over a week and thousands of shots – no exaggeration – so stick with it and don’t expect to hit it so quickly.
If it doesn’t go like it did in the second video you probably should reset.
The key is a long slow drop to the surface so the anchors settle before the pig does.

@playdbird I of course suffer from CQN syndrome or can’t quit now for those not afflicted and thus am sitting at 150k and counting finally after almost 30 hours of trying. SO if I don’t screw anything up I have finally made it!

Ok I feel like I should say more about my attempt. It was 1-30am when I posted the above message so I’m afraid bed came first! I really didn’t want to aim for Anchors Away as I really dislike glitches but over in the Bloated Pig everyone & their dog & cat was at it so I thought I’d give it a go last night. I’d been flinging for about 1/2hr and had got it to work about 3 times. The Anchor sliced through the boats rope & the piggie and raft fell slowly onto the top planet. Those 3 times the pig always went anti-clockwise but was destroyed anywhere from 115k to I think the highest was144k which would have taken me above average score but I kept on trying…..of course;) My big final score came when piggie landed & went clockwise around the planet. The points were racking up so fast I thought that for sure he was going to explode! He didn’t & I sat like a woman possessed watching the screen! The points just kept coming but I knew I had to end it. I’ve never run a glitch through the night I didn’t want to risk it. After two hours ……..yeah I know,I’m sorry, my score was at 230k. My gut feeling is if I had left it over night it would have been a whopper score but Heyho. I then realised I’d never practiced the 2nd egg throw:( luckily it worked but I’ve never had such shaky hands in my life! End score 251,290! Please don’t hate me! For all those who have taken hours,days & weeks to get it……hats off to you all,you’re much more deserving:) if I had failed last night I know I wouldn’t have had the patience to return! Good luck:) BTW will my score above automatically turn to 170k when the score is verified?
@jlz-666 We may hate you on one level for your quick success, but mostly we are just happy for you! Congrats! Slim will change your score when he awards the anchor, or you can change it yourself. (And, yes, my cat does occasionally help with the flinging duties by pawing at the iPad screen. He gets bored with it pretty quickly.)

Congratulations @jlz-666, I am glad you made it. I have to say you wer brave watching screen, I just couldn’t do that. Instead I closed cover and only few times I just squint to see if screen went black or application is still running. I didn’t check score until time I woke up and went to work. My morning score after some 7 hours was already over 400k at that time I didn’t know that some people reported that game crashed for them at some point otherwise I would end it. I was surprised when I returned home at 8 p.m. and saw game is still running and points wer accumulating pretty fast at certain positions on planet and a bit slowier at sout side of planet. at the end I want to go to bed and have nice and strssless night so I ended level at over 1,5 million.

I’m pretty sure it would have been a very high score but I would also have had the awful job of throwing the 2nd egg! I’d much rather screw up a 200k score than a million;)

Just an FYI, I tried the glitch on my Mac and for what ever reason the Pig and the wood are a lot weaker there. Just hitting the anchors pops the pig. So I am not sure if I gave up to early, but I think the glitch doesn’t work there.

Wow that took forever. I’ve been working on getting the glitch for what seems like weeks. Finally got it, though after reading all the posts about challenges and crashes I was nervous. I kept checking my iPad ever hour or so and after about 8 or 9 hours when I checked the screen was blank. When I unlocked the iPad it was on the home page and I was REALLY afraid it had crashed and I’d have to start over. I was relieved when I opened ABS and went to the level to see my high-score had been updated. I’m guessing after the level self-completed it eventually crashed afterwards.

OK, I have to share a somewhat related story. We have a son who turns 3 late spring. He watches my play Angry Birds and sometimes likes to try himself. With all the time I’ve spent playing this level I tried a few more times after the glitch-score and he wanted to “help”. Wouldn’t you know that he beat my OLD high score with a lucky fling? He doesn’t even know how to aim and I detonated the egg, but it was just over 146K. In all the times I tried to get the glitch I never broke 146K. So funny.

Thought I’d try this level again on account of my disappointing score last time.
Started it off at approx 12:30am this morning…after many failed ‘glitch’ attempts, two low score glitch results, and a south landing piggie in raft (which I ended reluctantly as neither score or piggie had moved in ages; probably a wise move though having read comments regarding low scores)…anyhow, the bf had let me loose on his iPad in view of not having anything to do this evening, my score was nearing 1.75million before this, and when I next looked (I had it in mind to end with a second birdie), my home screen was staring me right in the face…..yep, the game had crashed! – GUTTED! :(
Awww @leggy, I feel yoir pain! Did you try to turn of the internet connection? It worked for me on my iPad after 2 crashes overnight. Best of luck if you are going to attempt a better score!
@E-Star – yep, I had Wi-Fi turned off… didn’t stop a Rovio news flash attempt to my browser within the first 3 hours mind, but hey, I bypassed that okay…also had auto updates turned off, screenshot at the ready, charger plugged in, was checking every couple of hours or so, even took photo’s with extreme caution so as not to disturb my tablet using my phone camera on route to the biggie….and yet, through all my preparations, patience, and anxieties, it still crashed!…oh and I forgot to say this before, said crash happened between 21:00 and 21:30, so it had been running near on 21 hours!
I will try again, but whether tonight, tomorrow, next week, or next month- who knows!…I had some bad news today and to have gotten a better score would have boosted my moral somewhat, instead, I am left feeling incredibly low, so not surprisingly, I’m not really in the mood for playing just now.

OK I finally got it! After Weeks of trying!! Here’s my scary sad tale, I used @Bird-addicts strat (thank you, after days of trying yours kicked in best! ) got him going anticlockwise and he went Sloooooowly points came sloooooowly but somewhat steady start time 4am Saturday morning, at 2am ish that next morning I had just barely enough points to hit the second egg! I shot it and the little ice thingy was missing so the shot went wild and hit the Wrong rock planet!! Now I have 1 egg Left!! Sunday I ended up bed riden with the Flu so didn’t even think about the glitch (tells you how sick I was!) this morning I got up to start work, remembered my iPhone glitch and checked it out, Still Running!!! now it’s been running a total 2 days 10 hours you’d think it’d be in the Millions right!! Nope remember that slow and steady?! I’m not kidding!! OK there’s no bloody way I’m doing this longer!! I have 1 egg left so e-star had written me of the best spot to aim at and I did it………..oh noooo it went to far, I missed the bacon bit, I blew the shot!!! BAM All of a sudden stuff starts flying!! Bacon bit explodes!! I DID IT!! :D
296860 is the final score with No eggs left!! Now how sad is it that you run it for almost 2 1/2 days and come up with a score that lacking?? Leave it to me!! But I have the points to get me badge and that’s what all the frustration and hours of flinging were for!! Thank you to Everyone that had amazing tips, tons of support and encouragement!! Send the first egg around the south grav field of the first planet so it swings up around the top of the second. A good shot will catch one of the icesteroids to turn it around and/or slow it down. The explosion will wreak havoc on all the boats. :D

Shot 1) A variant of @E-star‘s first shot: Use a half-power shot to send the first egg just above the center of the first planet so it touches the TNT on the lower side of the second planet, and let it self-trigger after it rolls back slightly. This should trigger the requisite destruction and soft landing to trigger the glitch.
Shot 2) When ready to cash out, send the second egg just inside the south grav field and watch it slingshot to the northern planet. Self-trigger. :)

To add to the behavior needed for the glitch to work: Not only does the B2 anchor need to pull down B1’s anchor, but B1’s anchor needs to sever the raft chain at just the right time to get the raft going hard eastward to that invisible wall.

TaDa! Houston, we have CONTACT! Alert the Media! I was just going to update my previous post but it was removed…that was on my start and fail for the glitch 2 days ago. This time I got it! I did not post the start this time because I didn’t want to jinx myself again.
Anyway….I got the glitch again yesterday morning, after I gave Ole Murphy the boot and made him take a long space walk to infinity and beyond! Hopefully he went well beyond the AB Space Universe. My score did not run as fast as @misterparon for his whopping over 3m score. I wasn’t able to use my phone (put it in Airplane mode this time) for just about 37 hours! (7:30am on 12 Feb to close to 8:30pm 13 Feb) The little piggie popped on his own between 8:00 and 8:30 tonight. I walked away at 8pm and just checked around 8:30 – the screen was black….I was so worried that it had just crashed…I carefully swiped the unlock and WOW! It finished with a final count of 1649350! Yeah…I need a drink tonight!
It was a very unnerving day at work yesterday and today. I just left my phone plugged in by my computer and did not take it anywhere with me. Yesterday afternoon I had a slight shock when I checked the progress….I noticed that somehow I accidentally launched the 2nd bird straight up (there went 10k up in smoke)….so I couldn’t take a chance in trying to stop this with the 3rd bird. I just let it rumble along.

Still no luck for me. I must be the only top-15 scorer without it! Arrrgh. Still trying though.
What pace does the glitch occur? When I get the 10 unit clicks starting they occur about 2 per second on my iPad. But they always stop before one complete revolution. I had it much slower once but still died before one rev. Arrrgh!
Hahaaa @dougwo it varies for everyone!! Mine was the slowest and longest so far on record here and got me a sad score for the 2 1/2 days it took!! If you can get the glitch to go past 160k or round about there usually it will stick, but mine was sloooowww x 1000!! Just have to keep at it until it sticks. Good luck to you :)
I don’t get a feel for any particular ‘pace’ @dougwo…I tried several different power flings (all the way, then scaling back to half etc)….it is the angle of where you toss the egg and where it ends up; along with the activation of the effect. My primary device is the iPhone, but I’ve worked this a little on the PC version, my daughters iPod and on my hubby’s iPad. Keep alternating between shooting OVER the first planetoid just grazing the top of the water line under the anchor, which will send the egg over and then dip to jump UP and go the the right side rocks and TNT; OR going the south bound direction UNDER the planetoic as described by @kinkykiwi; which will have the egg hit the left TNT.
I kept playing with both of those possibilities until I finally got it with the OVER the planetoid shot. What I’ve found with the PC version of AB Space so far on S-15 is that the piggie on the raft seems to descent a LOT faster than on the iPhone. I haven’t quite hit the slow descent which seems to be the marker for resting right on the side of the anchors. Don’t give this one up. You can get it eventually. Just go back to S-15 periodically – then give it a rest for a while and go back later. Good luck!

You’re kidding right? This is a random, weird glitch that hardly ever happens and the requirement is that you must let it run for 24 hours or it doesn’t count? Proof that it is running and well past the limit isn’t enough? OK. But it may be several months before I can afford to let my pad run that long again… :)

Your final score must exceed 170,000. It’s like logging any other score on our leaderboards: Sure, you could exceed your previous best score, but if you haven’t popped all the pigs, it won’t count ;)

I truly empathize. It’s a terrible terrible loss. But, in the words of someone with a good mentality but bad grammar, “Rules is rules.” I haven’t gotten any great running of the glitch yet myself, and it’s bugging me…

Wow! Three flings later and it is running again. It appears as though the method described above where you go just inside the outer edge of the north side of the first planet, then under to the SE of the second planet and land on the big boulder in the center of the two dynamites before engaging the egg is pretty consistent. I do it with iPad zoomed all the way out. I can get a glitch started at least 1 out of 3 times this way. Of course, not all run their course.
Up to 120K and still running now so with any luck, in about 10 mins, I’ll fling the second egg to complete the level. New LOW coming! THEN I go back to work. :)

@dougwo I believe you made one very critical mistake. You designated something other than running this AB glitch as the most important thing in your life at the moment. Congratulations @kathy. I hope we will heear your glitch strory as everybody’s else (here or in Bloated Pigs). As for screenshot, you should upload photo from your phone in your album, which is under your screenname (when you draw mouse over your name). Click there and you would find it.
I sent screenshot to my mailbox from iPad and saved it on PC. It might be possible to send screenshots from phone directly to internet but I don’t know how.

Took me about an hour to get it going then i set phone overnight , anxiously peeked at it for an hour our so till i finely feel asleep when i woke it was on pause screen to my horror..i treated my phone like an egg and slowly, anxiously hit the back button, then the play button it was still going i took my chance and fling egg into the upper atmosphere, held my breath and ta da!!

I feel like I’m going to faint. After weeks of trying, I finally got it. Used the method where I shot just a hair under the water on the first planet and wrapped around the top of the second planet. Let it run about 18 hours before getting scared and flinging a second bird above the planet with the anchor. Final score: 1,392,680. Could have gotten a lot more, but my sanity is worth more than the remaining points. :)

Yesterday i got about 600k and my device crashes. Second time i don’t want to have the same probleme again. No Risk :-) Maybe in future i will try again for higher. No i Need a break for two weeks because of the S-15 Glitches :-) It’s only for the Badge. I hope i will earn it soon :-)
More than 24 hours of waiting and hoping the littl’ piggie on the plank would self destruct but it continued to merrily row around the planet with no end in sight. Glitch successfully utilised last night. Over the first plantoid, under the second to nestle in the rocks. Raft grazed ice asteroid on right and slowly descended. Points racked up slowly ending sometime after I found the land of nod. Woke up to 521670.

After clearing the screen of the 521k I took one more shot and lo and behold it took off again… After four hours it has just passed 300k and is clicking on about ten points per second. Tried for three days and then two on the bounce :)

Hi @dassa51, once I got successful glitch I’ve never tried it again. What’s fun in looking into iPad screen while points are accumulating and not being able to play other levels, games or whatever. Once it took me 25 hours and never more.

Second, I use the strategy just like the video. But the strength is lower than it.
You know, when I play it, I found that it is harder than it look. I fought hard, tried hard, but it didn’t paid off. I just wanted to give up.
One day, I looked at my album. My father pointed one of them and said, “if you give up at that time, maybe you won’t happy anymore. I know what he is talking about. Three days later, I finally made it. Thank you dad!
