Our strategy for Danger Zone level 4 is to send the Ice bird into one of the joints of the cross. Launch a Black bird around the other side of the planet and through the weakened structure. If more pieces remain, use the Ice bird to rob them of their stability. The score in the video below is 94,650.

98070. Send icebird over the planet and into the lower part. I then got the next bird under the planet and into the top and exploded him. Structure disintegrated taking all pigs with it.
102200 – 2 shots – 3 stars
http://photoserver.ws/images/bo5y4f6f9d292e0af.jpg
pg150, you can post your scores in the leader board and not in the comments section ;)
But if you want to show a picture, a screencap of your bird’s trajectory would be most welcome, especially when you get high scores… I notice you’ve been garnering great scores in AB Space: thats some nice shooting.
Oh, and if your score was obtained using the method in the video or a previously posted strat, you could just say “like video”… I know for a fact a lot of people would be most grateful.
I had to spend the entire birds for 98710
I think a one-bird is very possible here. Several times I have managed to freeze two areas of the structure with the first bird but it’s never quite crumbled all the way.
Meant to add – the strategy seems to be to fire the first bird as close as possible to the first planet without touching it.
105885, like video … But With two birds, the second bird (bomb) was aimed toward the outer edge of first gravity well, about 2/3 – 3/4 the distance from the first planetoid to the outer edge of its pull
This could be one where you can get the Lagrangian point achievement.
I’m imagining a triangle with the base between the planet (P) and the black hole (B). I found an on-line calculator. http://orbitsimulator.com/formulas/LagrangePointFinder.html
But how to interpret what we can see and define the masses and distances?
Based on size of the circles, the mass of the black hole is, say, twice that of the planetoid. However, the speed of the gravity waves (take that Einstein!) is the same, which suggests that the gravity is the same. figure that out and we might be able to estimate the L points.
Can’t use a black hole for these sorts of equations. The mass of a black hole is not calculable, as its gravitational pull can even “pull” at light, which is massless.
I was just labelling the centre of gravity for the pigs the “black hole”, because it is a hole that I couldn’t see.
So above, read that the mass at the centre of gravity around which the pigs are attracted is the same or twice that of the planetoid. Or asteroid, whatever.
2600 after 2 hours.
Can we agree on “White Dwarf”?
Freeze can be sent to gravity center “pod”. This brings the four outside “pods” to the middle where Black can do more direct damage. From there, it’s up to the collateral crumble gods to smile on you. I’ve yet to string the two shots together AND receive their favor, so no impressive score to share yet, but this approach seems viable.
Don’t know quite what happened to get 113k. Freeze went in and I was about to send in bird two when I saw the score creep up by 50. Waited a few minutes and it went up again and then again. After nearly an hour (sorely tempted to just send in second bird a few times) it all collapsed. Can’t claim any skill involved other than resisting temptation to fire bird two.
Is that right into the centre ‘pod’?
Yep. Between two hollow cement blocks in the corner between two outcrops, it hit a side and rolled down to nestle there. I think the triangular wooden block behind the two hollow blocks cracked and I think vibration then acted upon it until it broke. Must admit I didn’t watch the whole thing (not quite that addicted yet!!)
OK thanks – I’ll give it a go! :)
yep, I can confirm this does work, but took nearly two hours lol! Used the second bird right into the middle – 114k points! Thanks dasa51 :)
Fiddle. Should have kept it to myself for a day or two. :) Think I will wait a while before trying to get back on top….
TBH, now this method has been revealed, I doubt my top score will last for much longer than a few hours! The same happened with me on Cold Cuts 2-1 – I’m about 6k down from top score now! Anyway, best of luck getting back on top! :)
OK, trying your method. How did you avoid going crazy with the snoring pigs? Twenty minutes in so far, 2,930 points on the board.
45 minutes in, seeing visible vibration. Middle pig is now up against the wall. Current score 4,460.
Just got back from a meeting and score had stabilized at 56k, shot BB into middle for a score of 107,790. Time to try again.
Turned sound off. After all, in space no-one can hear you snore :)
Everyone says I have the patience of a saint, now is the time to step up to the plate! ;)
Laurence, I have managed to get the first bird in the center a few times, but my result has not been as good as you! :)
Once you fire that ice bird into the concrete blocks in the centre, watch the score to see if it increases, normally within a few seconds. keep watching, and if it increases again, it’s probably a good idea to leave it running, however, as with mine, it could take a couple of hours! How’s your patience? best of luck! :)
@dasa51 — You have more patience than a saint! Letting it run while I eat lunch. It seems to increase by < 100 pt every few minutes! But wait, a pig just popped! Didn't see it though. The little blue dot in the center has been called a gravity point by some. The region around these points is inherently unstable (wicked thought just crossed my mind), unless the surrounding distribution of mass is symmetric (not sure if it has to be circularly symmetric. There is more about this in discussion about Lagrangian points, which this is not. However, you can get a bird or birds to last for as long as you are patient at one of these points, because it never stops moving.
That said, the level seems to have stabilized!!! Don't know how much patience I have.
Well, my surname is Angell (almost a Saint). I considerd the centres as mini black holes where items of higher density took longer to be broken down than those of, say wood. But then science was never my strong point.
You know, those blue dots do appear like mini black holes. Thing is, with that size, they can’t suck up more than a few atoms per minute, and that’s also why they shine (sooner or later, that pig in the middle will have a hole in his back!).
A black hole with that size probaly has the mass of the whole earth.
Revision –Gave up on the first try. Second try; no change in score during minutes 5 to 40 (gave up). It appears that, at least for all practical purposes, a stable point can be achieved about the central “gravity point”. I am convinced that AB (at least other versions) has variations in starting points, so it may require exactly the right starting point to become unstable.
If you are thinking zero bird, I just restarted, and score is up to 80 without firing any birds. I will let you know how this turns out. I have 2 1/2 hours before I am leaving work, and I have my phone plugged in so the battery will not die.
As I typed this, I am up to 100.
Just about to turn in so may leave my phone on charger overnight if I can get a start. Too many waking hours spent on this one..
Hope you wake up to a happy score :)
One hour in, no birds shot, score at 1,550 several wooden pieces have broken. Still going…
And progress stalled out. Oh well, was worth a shot.
I tried the 0-birder as well, but gave up well before you (only Burbman, I guess). Would be nice to get a high score on this, but I, for one, don’t have the patience. Maybe if I remember to leave it overnight.
Couldn’t get a good overnight score as my phone won’t stay on (energy saving app that can’t be switched off). As I have a few more to go to finish Danger Zone off I shall try again later :)
I am thinking a no birder will take an extreme amount of luck. Even my best attempts have ended with one or two pigs safely enclosed in their stone shells. Unfortunately, ice bird is not very good at clean up, so I have to send in bird number two even on the best scoring runs. Slow grinding damage does result in pretty good scores though.
no-birder update Four hours in, with hourly accumulations of approx 600 points the center of the structure collapsed taking two of the outer pods with it. Score of 66,110 with two pigs still in their pods. Structure is now stable, fired ice then bb for total score of 113k.
I must be crazy! Trying one more time. I know there is a 130k+ score out there just waiting for me. So far an hour and a half in to this one, score is way ahead of where it was this far into the last run.
Still had to fire both ice and bb, but for a score of 117k!
Well deserved with the time you have put in :)
Thx! COuldn’t have done it without your original approach to the level though.
For those wishing to attempt the zero bird approach, here are some guidelines to let you know if you are on track.
The entire structure tends to rotate around the center over time, so I am going to refer to the pods as 1, 2, 3, and 4 referrred to in a clockwise manner beginning at the top of the original structure. In several attempts, I have seen the structure rotate clockwise, counterclockwise, and shift from clockwise to counterclockwise midway.
Upon starting the level, you should see some slightly visible wobble in both pods 1 and 2, points should start accumulating within the first 30 seconds. Points accumulate at an average rate of 10 – 20 per minute, however there can be periods of up to five minutes without any scoring, followed by several in quick succession. Kind of like earthquakes with many aftershocks. Progress can stall out, so if more than 15 minutes pass without a change in scoring, you are probably done.
At about the one hour mark, the wood triangle on the upper right of pod 3 breaks, and at the same time the two hollow stone blocks between pods 4 and 1 shift from a diagonal arrangement to nearly lined up side by side. You should see a 500 to 600 point jump at this time.
Visible damage should begin showing on all wooden triangles at about the 4 hour mark, score should be in the 3,000 range. Soon thereafter the wooden blocks begin snapping in rapid succession, creating catastrophic collapse. The individual pods are very stable however, and anywhere from one to all four generally survive the collapse. I have had scores ranging between 50k and 75k at this point.
At this point usually only stone triangles and the wood struts within the pods are all that remains, and they are concentrated in the middle where it is easy to weaken with ice bird, then blow up the entirety with the bomb bird.
I believe it to be possible to achieve a total collapse with scores in the 130k+ range.
You know what – I’m definitely going to leave this overnight for a few nights! Eventually I guess it should work, lol! :)
Wow using the 0 birds strategy i got 132 730 point omg hahah
I assume you are joking, since you didn’t give any details and haven’t posted your score.
Actually i did nothing but wait like 5 hours, just everything collapsed. I can take a picture if you want, though i beleive it is necessary the registration on this page to do that.
I would say great shooting, but more like great patience! This might be the first 0-birder on this level, and ONLY 4 hrs! Your score would be well above the high score for this level. In such a case, you should send a screenshot to the admins (see Contact under About) in gold bar above. You should also be entering your scores in the leaderboards!
It’s believable, and I don’t think it will stay head and shoulders above the rest for long! I got 120k with a1-birder, leaving the phone on overnight, and then firing ice bird into the centre to finish them off, so a 0-birder can easily lead to 130k+ scores!
All hail the no-bird approach! Five hours after I started the level, everything collapsed and I had my score. The most amazing thing? I survived all that time not playing Angry Birds. :)
I got a 0-birder last night as well, only 117k though.
Ok, it’s silly to even theorize, but do you think since the pigs are “attached” to the structure via the wood blocks it’s their snoring that is resonating through the structure that’s causing it to weaken and eventually self destruct?
I’ve started the process on my ipod, and about a half hour in I’m at 360 points. Really wondering about letting it go… if you minimize and come back later I bet you’d lose your progress though.
Well since I’m running an Ipod 4th gen the game reset – but I did see the stone block break that @burbman referred to:
“At about the one hour mark, the wood triangle on the upper right of pod 3 breaks”
sorry wood triangle broke….
a) you will not loose progress if you minimize and come back as long as you tap the little arrow in the upper left of your screen when coming back to Space.
b) I also think it might be their snoring that causes the vibration, as it can appear to stop until one of them falls asleep again. Probably not, but it could be.
“This is the news. Five little pigs were lost when their space station built out of bricks and wood had a catastrophic structural failure after a mission lasting only 5 hours. It is believed that the little pigs died peacefully in their sleep. So far no Angry Birds have claimed responsibility.”
LOL! Nice Score!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Very good @boo-boo!
This level looks like a model, to me, of the effects of spaces on our bone structure/ bone density. :)
It does a bit, lol! BTW, sorry about taking your high score away…
It was nice being top score! Even if it was only for a few hours! LOL. :D
Looks like you got it back! Congrats! :)
Congrats Kart!!! Way to go team!! :)
Thanks sunshine, really happy for your score. I’m so happy for you! Go team! :)
Haha, we’ve both had it taken away now! That’s a nice score Burbman! :)
Thanks! worked hard on that one LOL!
Well, Laurence & Burbman, a NO bird, 2 hour score!!! ;)
Nice! I’m definately leaving mine running now…….! :D
Everything was gone!! It was a full structure one moment, then the next, nothing!!! :)
Arghh, whine whine, I have 2 iPad running this level for a day now, nothing :(
Keeps stopping at 1760 points! I’m spending one more day at it and after that I going to go along on my your into DZ… shaking like a junkie, can’t fling my birdies, boohoo
E-Star, best to let it run while you are sleeping, that way you don’t miss out on play time!!!!!!! :)
Yeah, it’s like watching paint dry…
@GFish, the pay off is worth it!!! :)
@E-Star – Even when it stalls out, you can get a score in the 115-120k range by firing ice in between two of the pods and waiting again. I have gotten up to 120 firing two birds cause I had to shoot the bomb at the end to clear the last piggie. Best of luck to you!
I knew there was a big one out there somewhere! WTG!
@Burbman, thanks, it’s because of you and Laurence, I became obsessive over this level!!!!!! ;)
WOW sunshine..that’s impressive…Congrats…I kept reading about all the hype on DZ4 so this time I came here before playing level to read all the post…after reading everyone’s post I looked at IPad and my score so far is 370…about 30 minutes have passed…I think I should just clear the level so I can keep playing and do the no birdie over night like suggested so I can continue playing!!!
Thank you to all who have input their experiences!!!
To all: if you stall out fire bird one, let it sit, or shoot two, either way, you will get a good score!!!! :)
Waiting patiently to watch e-star’s video on the 0 birder!
Thanks all for sharing the 0 birder. I now hate the number 1670, at least 4 times it stalled there and a couple of times at 1760.
Sorry to say Skwose, i’m not going to make a video of the 5 hours session, don’t think the iPad can cope with a video of a coupe of Gigabytes.
Still haven’t succeeded myself, i’m going to give for now and go on with my space journey. This level had taken to much of my valuable shooting time already. I will try when i’m finished or at nighttime.
I have a day off coming up, maybe I will take a screen shot every couple of minutes and let my daughter put them together into some kind of time lapse video. I would not have the first clue as to how to post it for public viewing though.
I’d like to see the collapsing, I can skip the 1st 4 hrs 50 odd minutes
So for my first overnight session here are my results:
when I woke up it was at 69720 with all pigs still in their pods but alot of missing wood, etc and I thought that was it but with in about 15 to 20 mins. it then went up to 69930 and collapsed in but two pigs remained in their pods and stayed there for over 30 minutes so I fired ice bird to center and he took everybody out so I ended up with a one birdie for 117015…I will repeat it tonight.
First, I’m not fond of the zero bird levels, I like shooting, not waiting! Second, of course I am compelled to participate in the waiting contest. My first night result was similar to AA’s – launching the ice bird in the morning gave me 118+k. Last night was the winner, woke up to a screen completion and 131+k. It would have been fun to watch the collapse…
Congrats catsnbirds!!! I kinda saw mine, one moment the structure was there, but leaning to the right, a few moments later I looked at it and nothing!!!! ;)
It was your score and descriptions that enticed me into the patience game for this level – thank-you, Sunshine!
My pleasure catsnbirds!!!!! ;) Let me know if I can be of help, always ready to lend a hand, even if it’s just support and encouragement!!! :) TEAMWORK is every important to me!! :)It’s not just about strategies!
congratulations, sunshine! very nice score. I have finally gotten around to updating Space scores and am currently waiting to see what happens here. About 5 minutes in with shooting ice bird and score is now 2690. After this, I am trying the zero bird method, if my patience doesn’t wear too thin. Don’t forget to take a screen shot of your high score for a memento. It’s encouraging when you get stuck on a level :).
Thanks Wanda I will do that!! :) Good luck! :)
I hate 1670! What is the advice now? If it stalls at 1670 for 15 or 30 min, are you done, or should you wait an hour or two or 3 or ???
If mine stalls out, it is usually higher than that. But if it goes a half hour without picking up any points you are probably done. Is there any visible movement in the pods? They tend to rock individually, and when the harmonics get just right, the entire structure begins to rotate. Are you using an iPad or a Phone? It is A LOT easier to see the movement on the larger screen. I left my wife’s iPad running yesterday when we were off to visit relatives and was amazed at the difference. (it came in at 124k)
@ mvnla2, I have had it stall with less point than that, after firing blue, and bomb, I ended up with 127xxx. I have stalled out at 87xxx and after using two birds had a lower score like 117xxx.
When I got the score I have now it only ran 1 hour.
One other tip. I don’t know if it actually does anything or just distracts me. If I think the level has stalled, sometimes I will touch the pause button and go check my email for a minute then come back to space and push the small play arrow in the upper left corner. Usually starts scoring several ticks in a short time after that. Do not open another Angry Birds app when paused, or you will lose your progress. (Thought I was being sneaky once)
where is angry birds danger zone?
thanx muddah
On iOS, Danger Zone is an in-app purchase, though level one is already unlocked, so you can try one level before you chose to buy the episode for $0.99. On PC, Danger Zone unlocks if you pass all 30 levels Pig Bang. It is available for free on Samsung Android devices. As for other devices, only time will tell.
I was really dreading having to do the “Wait and See” method, but the rising average on the leaderboards for this level dictate otherwise. Oh, well. *shrugs* I must do what I can to keep myself from going crazy with my obsessive “I must be over average on every level” attitude!! Well, it’s back to the Danger Zone.
LOL, I am the same way with this obsession! I actually write down all the average scores and play each level until I have above average…by time I’m done with an episode, I’ll most definitely have to go back due to the ever rising averages ;-)
First you feel compelled to be above average in all levels. Then you must be in the top 200 for each. Then the top 100. Then ….. Would I actually accept just 3 stars and think I was good if it wasn’t for the nest? Horrors!
LOL, I don’t even dare to enter a score below avarage!
I will enter lower scores, I feel it helps the people like me who get sad when their score is so much lower than average :). My personal benchmark is to try to get in the top 20% of scores for all levels. It keeps you on your toes, whatever you personal goal might be.
I’m with you on that Wanda.
I think my goal is not far from your 20% I guess. I try to keep myself I that top, so I can’t contribute with some good video’s. It’s true that the average then goes up and some people need to improve their scores again, Sorry for that :(
Second try…woke up to 93140… Only one pig left in his pod and a partial pod remained. I messed up ice bird so had to use bomb bird but got higher score of 123010. If I had only not messed up my ice bird shot I might of had a pretty good score with an extra 10k..ugghhh
Looks like a pretty good score to me.
Just wondering if anyone with an iPhone has actually had the 0-bird strategy work? I’ve tried a few times and the best I’ve done is a 1-bird for 117K, never realized the full collapse and I see the 130K scores are all iPad or Android. Thanks!
All of my posts above are based on observations on an iPhone 4. My Android does not yet have Danger Zone, so I am stuck on the small screen.
That score puts you at #11 in the level – certainly a good score. But I’m sure you’ll try again tonight in the continuing attempt to get rid of the “if only…” Good luck!
I’ve tried it 4 nights in a row and haven’t got the 0-birder yet, but will continue trying!
Thanks all and sorry for hijacking your thread AA! Burbman it’s good to know you did get the full collapse on an iPhone, I’ve seen most everything else, from the initial collapse description to the occasional freeze on 1670, 1760 and even 4060 so it seems it’s just up to luck to get the full 0-bird score.
For what its worth, I have had zero bird scores come in lower than your current score. 117k is a pretty respectable score.
Wow, really I had no idea…thank you for letting me know…and yes I will be trying again tonight to satisfy the “what ifs”…thank you!!!
Ice would not have destroyed as many of the stone blocks. You probably got a better score using bomb than if he had sat that one out.
Well that makes me feel a little better, especially since its coming from you…one of the experts on this level!
That’s me, an expert at doing nothing! LOL
This morning I have been letting the level run and taking a screenshot every five minutes or so. It has been four and a half hours and the score is up to 4690. Hopefully I will be able to string all the screenshots together for a time lapse video of the gradual decay. No way I will be able to capture the collapse though.
That’s great…good luck! I hope you get the shot…you never know, it could happen.
Just collapsed, but left one pig. The joys of DZ4!
Eagerly waiting for your video. My non-Irish luck is continuing to hold. It seems to me that once you have significant collapse (at least taking out all wood triangle and center pig), the level becomes stable. I guess AA would say I’m just too impatient. So far I’ve had it collapse from 3+K to 40 or 50K, but then it stabilizes. Would really like to see the 1 hr, 136K score. Ah, well… I did see it collapse from 3K to 40 K: even if you are looking right at the screen, it all happens so quickly, I couldn’t tell what started it.
@mvnla… Lol!!! I would never say you were impatient…I am the one that only plays it over night because I don’t have the patience to watch “The grass grow” or the time. But mostly I don’t want to tie up my iPad and not be able to continue on in my zone ;-)
Maybe, but you said you waited a while after initial collapse, and got more points. Will have to try that. I’m letting it run during the day while I do other things.
True…I’m good for about 1/2 to an hour..is about all I can handle, lol. I Wish you lots of luck my friend! BTW… I left a comment in the L” point” link you provided under achievements I think it was…hope will reply and please, no laughing….I am physics challenged, lol;-)
Are any of the >110K scores obtained without waiting for the grass to grow? For me so far, the luck of the non-Irish rules.
I got 112k without the “glitch”
@mvnla2, yes I was able to get 112 k the old fashion way!!! Sent ice bird into the center pod, in between 9 and 12 (if you look at it like a clock), then send bomb bird into opening, one bonus bird left!!! I hope that helps! Good luck! :)
Hello sunshine, I know I already congrats you on top score but wanted to add, I’m so proud of you for your top score and it looks as though it will stay for you… I hope ;-) you deserve it with your patience and helping others with your input! WTG girl!!!
Thanks AA, because I’m starting to feel bad for causing commotion over this level. I had started trying the o-bird, after reading burbman & Laurence’s comments. I thought I would help with a little research and see if I could support that theory. After all, theories and hypothesis need to be proved and replicated. We wouldn’t have the medicines, devices or procedures, that help keep us alive today without it. Once again, sorry, and good luck everyone. Very good scores can be obtain without waiting. Burbman has clearly outlined how to, in above comment! :)
If you injure a pig, he other doesn’t go to sleep, or it takes a VERY long time. Additional evidence that it is the snoring that causes the destruction.
I agree…one time they were all snoozing and about 15 minutes passed with no activity and I pressed pause like burbman said and when I hit the arrow to return they all woke up…pretty funny, except this caused no further activity so I restarted the level, lol ;-)
Congrats Burbman nice score!! I just got another total collapse for 132730. I was taking pics, but had to run out, and missed the end. On the slideshow of the 38 pics, however, you see a lot more movement then the eye catches. I know you took pics yesterday, did you watch them in slideshow?
Gaah! How can you get 2 total collapses, and I can’t get any? How many times did you try this? I’ve given up for the time being. Is there some hideous secret, like you have to have the sound on?
Key to this one is persistence. I have had way more runs end with a stall out or a collapse that leaves a few pigs than the dozen or so total collapses. I have also had total collapses end with 105k points, now that is a disapointment.
I never play with sound!! :) This was the fifth or sixth time, I only wish I didn’t have to run out before, the collapse would have been great, because, what I have is interesting, at least to me. Thanks for this comment mvnla2! :)
Yes, I did watch the slideshow. Structure rotated to the right, then stopped, then left, stopped, then right again. Unfortunately the one I took pics of left one pig standing after the collapse and I had to shoot two birds in for a 120k score. I noticed that the score increased more at the times when the rotation changed direction as it was probably trying to pull itself apart.
I ran it again overnight and woke up to the nice score. Makes the day a little better to find something like that waiting for you.
My pig in three o’clock spot total spun around in his pod, the same right and left observation noted. I just thought it was cool to watch after all of that time. I noted the same thing when you use the birds.
@dougwo, I have had two total collapses, on the ones that have stalled, the movement slows way down or stops. You will still get a wonderful score by shooting bird one and/or two!!!!!! :)
Is there a slideshow posted somewhere? I can’t find it if there is. Sorry if I’m being a pest.
I have to get my twelve year old to teach me how to post it. I have 57 screen shots of a gradual collapse that leaves one little piggie. Sounds like Sunshine made a similar series.
@sunshine – yes the pig in the three o’clock pod starts with his wooden cross firmly wedged square to the main structure, then shifted suddenly, just before the first wood wedge disappears.
I don’t know how to post it either, will work with friends to get it done!!!! :) You are not being a pest! I want to share! :)
It just shows how we think we see something and something total different is going on!! :)
I have tried for 8 consecutive nights. I get the wobble and scores dribble up to about 1600 to 1700. Then it stops. Every time. Has anyone else gotten this to work on an iPad?
I believe @sunshine (current highscore) uses an iPad for the DZ levels :)
That is correct, Laurence, I am using an iPad. :)
Hmmm… I got 101K+ with 2 birds, but the one-border has me stuck. I do get some ticks within the first 30 seconds or so, then across the first hour, then nothing more. Is this common?
I’m up to 4900 after three hours. I guess that is still on track?
As long as the points keep going up. ;)
Up to 5040 now.I guess this time it may work. About when do collapses start to happen? (points-wise I mean, not time-wise)
Holy crap! Center just collapsed and now I am at 45790. This is fun!
Keep with it, it is fabulous, when you get a total collapse!!! I’m cheering for you! :)
Looks like it stalled at 45800. No new points for two hours… Piggies are asleep. Guess I’ll attack it and start over.
Thanks to everyone for their help on this level. I have been trying without any bird for a few days now… that’s on a new iPad. I get stuck pretty often at 1670, but got up in the 50s once, and the 60s once (that’s how I got to 115,860 by using 2 birds). Now I’m stuck at 85,220!
So I gave the tip to my wife (loizelle). The first time, she starts it on her iPhone 4S before going to bed… and wakes up with 127,860!
Then she tries it again yesterday night and wakes up this morning with 145,240!!!

So, is the zero bird trick platform specific? Hey I was just looking for a good reason to get an iPhone 4S.
Post your score !! Congrats!!
It not mine… I only wish! She (loizelle) posted it.
I wrote Rovio about this level, this is the reply I received. :). Congrats again! :)
thanks for contacting us!
Level 4 of Danger Zone is just a structure the Pigs built in a rush. They aren’t the greatest or the most careful engineers out there.
Best regards,
@sunshine that’s awesome! I have often thought that while Rovio wouldn’t truly design unstable levels on purpose they might have that exact thought when it turned out that way!
Haven’t tried the let it run approach yet, but will tonight. If my iphone goes to sleep, does the game continue to run in the background?
Oh and not sure this is the right place for this,so you can delete this post if you needs to, but what does that little sombrero mean next to my avatar that says “Rank: Deputized with 185 points.” Other avatars have other little images next to them. Is there a link I can go to that explains this? Thanks.
Yes: Badges & Ranking
I use an iPad, it stays on the whole time, don’t know about the phone. Give it a test run now and see what happens. Good luck!! :)
Does the iPad get any screen burn in leaving it on the one screen for so long?
Haven’t experienced any problems and I am trying for the gazilionth time know… But I don’t give any garantees
I turn my brightness waaaaaay down just in case
Thanks for the replies guys & girls….Brightness has now been turned way down :) So far sitting on 1620 and not really moving much :( …. I am soooo close to getting the Dangerzone Achievement it is not funny :(
I started with a couple of 1670, didn’t get much result. But now i’m pausing every 15 minutes to save the video and i gave me better results. Don’t know if my theorie has any truth to it, but i’m starting to think that pausing the game every now and then helps. Didn’t get the total big bang, but went fron 112k to 122k.
@E-Star, I have had three total collapses without touching a thing, I think it just helps us feel better. :D
Ah, I want one of yours! So shine a little sunshine my way and I can put this thing behind me ;)
3.5 hours in, 127990 !!!!! 0 birds!!!!
@E-Star, take your pick, always willing to share. BTW I think we should send you a plan ticket to New York, Kathy and I will pick you, and we will start the road trip!! Lol. :D
@ chucky, congrats on your score!! :)
That snoring has something…
I’ll let iPad and iPhone try the 0-bird overnight. But I think I switch off sound.
It worked on both at second try (restarted after realising that it was between 1500 and 1900 for over an hour and did not increase).
On the iPad I got 125000 points, but on the iPhone whooping 143470! :-)

It was fun.
How do you find out such things?
Congrats!!!!!!! Nice score, well done!!!!!! :D
Burbman and Laurence figure this out, Burbman has an eye for the 0-bird level!! :)
thanks sunshine :-) You have a great score too.
Burbman must have a lot of patience to figure such things out.
I think patience is the word!! :)
I’m up to 3930 after 4 hours but it is still ticking upwards… fun to do this at work. :)
Keep with it, I know you will get a 0- bird soon, I feel it in my bones. :)
OK. 77630. Is that the end when they get this high? There is one piggie left and 4 un-collapsed rings. Will it continue or is that it for this try?
It’s been about 5 hours.
Many of the little triangles are all crinkly which means they are close to collapse. There have definitely been points taken from them. I’ll hang on. The 0-birder in Rio was much more fun. :)
I would hang in, you have waited this long, I’m surprised it is still count without any pigs. When I have had collapse the screen goes black.
There is one pig left! But he is wide awake and not snoring so he must have sustained damage. I wonder if that means there won’t be any more collapse? (According to Laurence)
If you have no more movement, send in ice bird, I think you should have two bonus birds. But you have waited this long, what’s a little more time? Good luck!!! :)
