Here is our Angry Birds Space walkthrough video that will help you unlock Centripetal Force (Lagrangian Point) Achievement. You can find info on a Lagrangian Point on Wikipedia.
Update: As of the v1.1.0 (Fry Me to the Moon) update, the Centripetal Force achievement has been fixed and the understanding changed. The concept is no longer to get a bird stuck in a Langrangian Point, but rather to simply pass through one. This is a million times easier. While it doesn’t really need a video, we already have the page created, so why not, eh?
The first level where this achievement is attainable is Pig Bang level 1-5. Simply fire the Red bird above the first planet so that it passes through the overlapping gravitational fields.
If you have a different method for obtaining this that you think is easier feel free to leave a comment below explaining your strategy.
Ok so I’ve read alot of the post on this now and have a thought…probably way of base here and not too knowledgable in physics but here goes…loox and mvnla have mentioned those tiny little blue gravity points/fields, mlvnla goes on to say, and I quote:
“There are several levels on which you can get a bird to stop in the intersection of two gravity fields, or at a “gravity point” (my term for those little blue centers of a gravity field), but once the bird stops, it disappears in a few seconds. There are 5 Lagrangian points (in a 3 body gravitational system), see references above. L4 and L5 would allow the bird to continue moving and therefore not disappear. L4 and L5 are off the screen in the existing levels, and therefore will be difficult to find.”
However, I am in DZ 13 and while there are no over lapping spheres…on the farthest right sphere I knocked out everyhting in it with a blue bird and one of him has remained and is sucked in to the tiny little blue “gravity field”, swaying ever so slowing, hovering over the tiny blue “well” he has been there for almost an hour now with out popping and mvnla says L4 and L5 would allow the bird to continue moving and therfore they won’t disappear…, so if he is indefinately still alive, does this mean he is in an L4 or L5 point? now technically he has not come to a complete stop but my thought was if I waited long enough would he? loox previously mentioned that perhaps the birds wouldn’t work like this because they are not a complete sphere (shaped) but technically neither are the boulders, they are not perfect spheres and they were also moving back and forth at the tiny blue “gravity fields” and after awhile, they did come to a stop. so if the boulders were able to come to stop couldn’t the blue bird too? If he does finally come to a stop would this be what we have been looking for? Now I do realize there doesn’t appear to be a three body gravitational system but perhaps there is? Behind the sphere but perhaps as previously mentioned we just can’t or don’t notice it…which leads me to my next thought.. I also noticed talk about needed two massives compared to the bird or third object or something to that nature and just the sphere is only one but could the “spiked” looking pig thing with a snout and no eyes that’s faded out in the background which is inside the right most sphere on this level be considered the second one?
Again I am by no means smart about these scientific things and am probably way off base here but would appreciate any feedback. Also loox was this a similar situation you were referring to on DZ12 where you left it overnight to see if he ever stopped and if so, did he? What to do…leave it over night but he doesn’t appear to be in any hurry to come to a complete stop? He is slightly moving over the tiny blue gravity well in the center of the bottom right sphere???
Oops! I meant DZ 12…sorry!
@AA Are you really talking about DZ13? DZ12 has a lot of “gravity points.” I don’t see any in DZ13. I think the “faded out things with a snout” are just the normal DZ background, which moves depending on zoom and view. IMHO, this is not going to get you the Lagrangian point achievement, even if you leave it running all night. And the blue bird is likely to stay in almost the same position, moving slightly, all night, maybe forever.
Maybe I should stop discouraging people from trying for what they think might be the LP achievement. After all, I haven’t found it yet either.
I just thought because I found a spot where blue bird doesn’t disappear that maybe it was worth mentioning…guess not…geezz…nevermind :(
My mistake, it is DZ 12 I was referring to. It was past my bedtime last night and my brain was tired, lol! DZ 13 has none of the stuff I was describing above so good catch mvnla…So this is the same one loox was talking about….which means we still don’t know anything.
Perhaps we mean two different things by gravy fields because there are several in DZ 13…I’m looking at one…that little bright blue center of the sphere that he’s swaying over? The boulders are covering the others when they came to a stop…they were swaying before…I can’t look at DZ .12 right now cause I was letting blue bird try and settle on DZ13, but you are the expert so if you say he will not stop ever, I will take your word for it and just go to DZ 4 for an all-nighter…do you know why he won’t ever come to a stop? Just curious?
Has anybody achieved this yet? Or is it a bug rovio is fixing?
Nobody achieved it yet, probably a bug.
That means it will be saved since the next Update. I am right??? I done it in Level 1-10 but i dont get the Arch. :-(
I’m not sure about that. It’s a matter of how it is bugged. If the achievement registering is the issue, then yes. But if its an issue with how the achievement is considered “complete”, then likely no.
But it can definatly earned right now??
No, it doesn’t seem so.
no one has got it (as far as I know) so I’m guessing it isn’t attainable ATM :)
Thanks Slim and Laurence for Information. Than i stop Gaming (to get the Arch.) :-)
Slim Rovio’s has been asked multiple times if bugged, and as far as I know hasn’t admitted it. Cant you convince them to answer re bugged?
I have tried this on numerous levels, it does not work!
I also played for a wile. It dont work :-(
I finally got centriptal force!!!!!!!! Fry me to the moon level 1!! The first pig got caught in it!! :)
<3
Same here :D
Congrats guys!!!!!!! What is fry me to the moon another episode? I still dont even have DZ yet…i hate rovio:(
Another episode, it’s in Google Play! :)
Thank kart:) not for android i imagine:(
Isn’t Google Play for Android? I think the update is out for Android, too. :) Check it!
@Kathy, an Apple update this morning to iPads.
Ty @wrw01..@Mikkor…..no update there for android:(
@Kathy the update is available on Android Market (now called Google Play) and should be on Amazon soon.
Ty slim..i will take @ Mikkor’s advice and try restart:)

“I love waking up in the morning to see the community abuzz with news of a brand new release. Today is one of those days, as the Angry Birds Space Fry Me to the Moon (v1.1.0) update has landed on iOS and Android via Google Play, with other platforms coming soon. This update includes new levels and a bunch of bug fixes, which we’ll delve into below:”
Try restarting your device? It should be there. :)
Just obtained the Achievement for Centripetal Force as sunshine mentioned level 1 of Fry Me to the Moon. Mystery solved.
Much easier than the video… got it on 1-10 by simply launching the blue birds. They didn’t come to a complete stop.

I just earn centriptal force on level 2-19.
Thanks. I’m going to rewrite this post. It seems you don’t need to get caught in a Lagrangian Point, but rather just pass through one. I have a new video using Pig Bang 1-5, which is the first possible level to attain the achievement.
How did you find out this, Slim?
I have my ways ;)
I’ve been doing exactly what the video shows on 1-5 and still haven’t gotten the achievement. Could I be doing something wrong?
@chriss
find what out?
That you don’t need to get caught in a Lagrangian Point, but rather just pass through one.
Well, I must say this is a real letdown, and tarnishes Rovio’s image at least as much as the continuing nonsense with SE. Why couldn’t Rovio tell us the achievement was bugged? How many levels can you achieve this on? When I return to Internet civilization, I may try asking them again, but for Rovio’s Mighty Eagle to say that “Impossible is nothing” and for Rovio not to admit it was bugged caused a lot of us (or at least me) to waste a lot of tme.
Well, let’s be honest, Peter Vesterbacka is not really involved in the development of levels or achievements. He’s a conceptual wizard, and a brilliant one at that.
On the other hand, Rovio’s developers did suggest that there was an issue with the achievement.
Just curious — When / how did Rovio’s developers suggest there was an issue? I obviously missed it.
Well, @amslimfordy did contact Rovio via Twitter and I think they did reply to him saying that it’s bugged but not sure though.
well, seems like all your effort was for nothing ;) how could it happen that it wasnt there in v 1.0.0 ? or was it planned to come out after first update ?
Here’s my guess. Initially Rovio wanted you to get a bird stuck in a Lagrangian point, like my original video. Problem is, the program doesn’t allow this to happen: Once a bird comes close to a stop, the program makes the bird disappear. So instead, they changed it to “go through a Lagrangian point”. Just my opinion.
well sounds logical and plausible.
Its just like go around the planets
Got mine on Fry Me To The Moon level 1. Now all I have to do is get Smash Maniac and I’m done. I’m not sure if I want to put the time in for that.
I wish the achievements for PC!!
