Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-17 was first available on Monday, December 17th, 2012. The strategy on this level is pretty obvious. Send the first Red bird through the snow blocks under the leftmost boulder, bringing the associated structure to the ground. Send the next Red bird through the snow blocks under the boulder next to the presents. All structures should fall to the ground from the dropping debris. The less debris remaining after two shots, the higher the score! The score in the video below is 123,320.
Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-17 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
115360 is 3* 2 birds
1st bird through as many snow blocks as possible in the middle
2nd bird to hit side of uppermost structure
Pretty straightforward, at least for a three-star score. Send the first bird into the snow beneath the first main structure to collapse it. Send the second bird into the middle boulder so that it flies into and breaks the snowblock holding the boulder attached to the top structure, collapsing the rest of the level. I got 119k on my first attempt this way.
I agree. Got 118k on first try. Not sure if one birder is possible, but we’ll see.
Similar tactic: First bird to left supporting snow blocks. Second to far right pig on snow block. Pulls down top tower.
3 Stars – 116,380
Same, but better fallout: 3 Stars – 121,470
Same here, 120010
Wow! I just got 127k with the same knock-the-boulder-into-the-next-snowblock strategy. I think that’s pretty close to the limit for a two-birder.
Good shot sir! Up to 123160 and I thought THAT was pretty near the limit, till I saw your post!
Got 123k, but left the 2 packages untouched and a few small snow triangles. Could have been another 6k. May be 130k is attainable.
I also thought 124k-125k would be the limit until I got my score. There was no debris left sitting on top of the remains of the snow platforms. I didn’t notice how much debris was sitting on the ground, but I doubt it was a whole lot. 123k without the presents is interesting, for sure. I agree that 130k might be possible.
Same for me , 126,640
2 birds, same strat. Score: 117,460
Followup to above: 2 birds, same strat. Score: 122,520.
SWW 1-17, 123500 w/2.. Has to be this combination of shots, mind you the day is young. Collateral damage is the name of the game, how original. Great strat! thx
120220 using this strat. :)
Same strat got 130k. virtually none debris left
Congratulations! That’s a heck of a score. I’m curious to see if anyone can get 131-132k now. Also, based on what I’ve seen, I have doubts that a one-birder is possible, or that it would even cause enough destruction to beat the two-birder. So you may have the top score for a little while here.
129950. Had three small snow blocks and one damaged wooden beam left. Not sure how much debris on the ground, didn’t have time to zoom out and check.
@austinrhl, a 2-birder should maxed-out somewhere around 140-141k (130-131k plus 1 unused birds). But then we all know there’s no way we can break all 4 of those huge boulders as you said above. No matter how technical this level is, luck has its own share. Simply can’t help myself when it comes to numbers… :D
One birder completely possible.
Hit the top most little concrete square.
129,500
Two Birder and I only had the triangle shaped structure at the front remaining.
Try to bounce the second bird on the upper side of the boulder and into the snow block that the little bell is hanging from. Tricky, but if you succeed, all of the top structure is guaranteed to come down.
And for the first bird: aim it at corner of the first triangular snow block. The boulder should come loose from its rope and fall down on the diagonal stone beam and weaken it. Then the rest of the structure will come crashing down and hopefully wipe out the entire lower left snow blocks. Works about once in five when you get the first shot right.
The combination of these two shots gave me 129950.
@f91jsw: Tricky shot, indeed! That bounce to get the snow under that tower is key to high 120s and greater. I got 128550 when that bounce left me gasping for breath. :)
With this strategy, it’s simple to attain 120k-plus points. 125k at this time, hope for a better execution to yield better score.
Even if you don’t and need a 3-birder to wrap things up, the destruction would still easily reach beyond 95% and that’s enough for minimum 3-star score.
I think 135k+ are possible with 2 birds, cause as you can see in this pic
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/cheetaa/album/picture/2330/
I get 130.260 with two birds and 8 snow pieces, 2 stone pieces, the bell and 4 boulders were left for more points.
Yes, but 135k is probably theoretical. Destroying all four boulders seems almost impossible.
I’m not sure – I got 129k and only had the triangle piece left which would only yield 2k if you’re lucky
It also depends on how the blocks fall. You can get different scores for the exact same amount of destruction depending on how the blocks bounce into each other when they fall, since collisions between blocks and with the ground result in points even when the blocks are not destroyed.
@fatboyslick – Did you check how much debris left lying on the ground? Just want to make sure you DIDN’T break the huge boulders (all 4 of them) because that would be an achievement on its own. I’ve got exactly your current score and still have quite a lot of things left… :)
127040- 2 birds
Same technique I think.
First bird hits the snow blocks on the bottom of the leftmost tower and causes the ones on the right to collapse.
Second bird hits the rock connect to the highest tower and causes everything else to collapse.
125710 first try with this strategy…thanks!
Did about the same strategy but hit the stone with the first bird instead of the snow underneath it. With the second bird found that if the bird hit the top of the stone it bounces up hits the upper structure and then goes to the right to hit the snow. It seemed like a few more points. This was a fun level to play but could not get into the higher scores.
Looks pretty difficult at first but you’ll see on closer inspection that the structures are attached to the rocks via thread.
1. Using a near horizontal shot, aim for the bell – it will take out the three/four snow blocks where the first boulder is. This will drag the structure down and take out the below presents and triangle shape. The bird, hitting the bell, will continue to take out the pig nearest the bottom
2. Birdie goes to the snow blocks to the left of the far presents – the one on a snow block with a tiny pig. My shot took out the far presents and drew down the top structure ontop of everything else. Alternatively, the boulder will swing and take out the presents and the bird will drop onto the below pigs
This got me 129,500
Got 127210 with 2 Birds although the second present on the right was not destroyed. But all the rest was completely blown away.
Good grief the ones in the boxes are remarkably resilient – one from top structure bounced down and broke his box on ground but survived! Twice now!
Potential ONE Bird solution:
Hit little piggy-in-a-box in top tower. If tower debris and bird fall to the left, there’s a nice cascade. If it doesn’t, second bird to supporting snow blocks at left for 3 Star – 115,170
Yes, I’ve been trying to get that one-birder for a while. I’ve managed to collapse all parts of the playing field but never on the same run, so it should be possible.
A variation is to bounce the bird off the slanted beam on the first structure, but still no luck.
I had two One-Birders this way…both ended up with a bit over 122k…but there was a lot of debris left..so potentially much higher score possible
Minor variant – most flings seemed to leave some or most of the bottom left “triangle” intact. I find that by bouncing the first bird off the top corner of the sloping stone beam in that section so it goes upwards and removes the triangular snow block under thestone boulder, for some reason this can lead to more “bottom left” destruction. Well, it does for me, upped my score by a few thou to 126390
@Bikkit: I came across this alternate on my iPod touch, and have had little luck replicating it on PC yet.
This is an extreme skill shot, and you can flip that diagnoal stone bar up or bounch Red off it to take out the left-most snow block on the left tower. Not for the faint of flinging heart.
Agreed! But, as per an infinitie number of monkeys eventually typing our the works of Shakespeare, you can get there in the end…
Raised +290 :) to 124.830 by @bikkit “bouncing top corner of sloping stone beam” works. But at the moment – nothing more. 1B is a case to study.
ANOTHER aiming point for buncing! Wait on rolling stone stop or even do this on the run. Aim at top left corner of that stone (ideally 10 o’clock positon). RB goes sometimes stright vertical. On the way down it will crash a tiny white triangle corner protected by of the sloping stone beam!
2nd shoot by double boucing – like film way but more effectively. I called it Pachinko Way. I see some potential at this type of shoots.
Exactly what I did for my score @bikkit and for shot two I actually aimed for the little bell which dropped all of the top structure.
128650/2
thx to @bikkit for tip
here my video:

There is a 1 bird solution. I was just looking for weaknesses and not really concentrating. I threw the bird to the top of the tallest tower, I think just above the pig in the box. The tower toppled right bringing down that side, the bird dropped down to the left taking out a couple of snow blocks on the main structure, triggering a collapse. Only 117k and I’ve not been able to repeat it yet.
(@jshfire)Same method & 123,310…..Not too bad for one bird?? Saw your comment & noticed exactly the same thing happened with me, & I can’t repeat it since either…..
Yes, before checking here at the nest. I had a one birder fall.( on the ipod) I hit the pig in the box in the tall watch tower. The top part fell to the left and took out the pigs on the left below. The bottom part of the upper tower fell right, there were about six-seven pieces of white and wood left. Have tried the method over and over could easily get it down to one pig. Using the second bird, the highest score I got was 117k. My score on the one birder is 121,880. Now I will try what most everyone else is doing, as the higher score lies there.
Fresh entry with 124.540 (2B / 3*). 120-122K repetable.
1. Wait for a moment when stone in the middle shelf is rolling and shoot under them as close as possible without touching it! In some shoots it’s moved middle stone and things placed below – all of them. Or without R down shelf or middle shelf survive.
2. At middle level right shell sits small pig. Shoot under it. If first shoot was not sufficient clear – shoot by bounce with middle stone to the R.
120760 with 2 birds.
If there is a one bird strat it will involve striking the topmost structure. I’ve within one piggie of a one bird.
Thank goodness for one that’s fairly simple … YAY!
So far my best score is 124,260. Avoid cutting through the ropes! With 2 decent shots gravity will destroy most everything. I have come close to needing only 1 bird and I strongly believe it is possible. 1st shot aim for the triangle snow block under the round stone. Even though your shot will be on a downward angle; try and keep it as straight as possible. Try not to hit the stone. The stone will pull the wood structure, it is attached to, down and the ensuing chain reaction can annihilate everything on bottom row. If the stone ball on the right side of the large platform remains; try to place your 2nd shot slightly above it’s centerline. Your target is the snow block supporting the little piggy and the stone ball attached to the tall structure above. Anything remaining will be destroyed as this structure collapses. The little piggy inside the wood box is, what I believe to be, the biggest hurdle to a one bird level.
Finally, if anyone out there wishes to edit the above…I would be grateful. I know a succinct instructional paragraph is in there somewhere.
,
I think the strategies in the long thread started by @austinrhl are better for high scores. I don’t see any way the level can be 1-birded by attacking the triangular snow block. There’s no way to get to the snow block with the boulder on the right side with that strategy.
Note: I believe the key to the repeatable 1 bird level is taking out as many snow blocks as possible on your first shot. This is why I indicated to try and keep it level.
126K, got everything but the two presents on the right hand side. It’s above average, so I should be happy with the score, but when there was an easy extra 6K that I missed, all of a sudden I feel like I should keep playing to get those extra points.
Note: After reading the above paragraph back to myself, I think I might be an angry birds addict.
@leelee0927, you THINK you might be an AB addict? I don’t know but it sounded wrong somehow… :p
@bballjones — Congrats on top score! Care to share how you got it? Was it a 1-birder, and if so, where did you aim? Of course, we would all want to use your tips to beat your score, but that’s what ABN is all about. Cheers! : )
Pretty standard really. Got a lot of destruction on the first bird with the lower left snow and stone destroyed (lots of bouncing around seems to get more points). Then the standard second shot. Almost everything was destroyed.
I got my top score this morning before the kids went to school, and now I cannot even get close to 120K.
Yeah, what is it about getting an above average score without too much effort that makes you think it should be easy to score even higher? Haven’t been able to match mine either, and hope it stays above average.
Not a strategy specific level, do it as on video and hope for a fantastic fluke to carry you above the stars, or shoot anywhere and hope for a fluke.
None of the above mentioned strats are consistently repeatable, so that leads me to believe that Lady Luck has more to do with scoring than variations of initial shots do. As far as our high scoring friend goes, he must have a Giant Rabbit’s Foot hanging around his neck.
Another rinse and repeat level. Lots of times going up and getting a one birdie, but a low score. So back to the 2 birdie and finally got 127440.
Here is my video.

Details for Nook Color:
“Shoot the bells method.” Zoom all of the way in.
Unfortunately there is no background detail to line up with, so this is going to have to be purely descriptive. Pull the first bird so slingshot straps are straight and horizontal. Get out your reading glasses if you need them ☺. Then pull down another five or six “clicks”. Fire from there. Bird should consistently pass through the snow blocks and hit the large bell which triggers collapse of the left side.
Second bird. Pull him down until the first white trajectory dot from bird one is just above his head like a winter hat pom-pom. Release from there. This should launch the bird across and it will hit or pass just under the little bell and trigger the collapse of the right side.
Of course as everyone else has mentioned, the pattern and amount of destruction varies. Even starting from the exact same locations each time will not guarantee complete destruction. It’s your typical try, try again scenario.
@skowse Pellystar since you both are the only names i recognize close to the top 10 , do you remember Anything of which strat you may have used to get 130k?
I really don’t see 132k being possible with the amount of remaining debris?
I’m flinging like Estar video but haven’t been able to acheive my previous score :( if not , no worries ,,i know it’s been a long while!
Thanks for any help you can offer:)
@kathy I hit the first concrete ball and bounce back to maybe damage the structure with the oblique concrete plank on it. Doesn’t matter if it doesn’t as 2nd shot can often clear that area. Second shot I bounce of concrete ball in the middle to hit snow cube above it. If all goes well it can clear lots.
I just got a 128 this way so assume that’s how I did it last time as there was considerable debris still available.
Awesome @skowse Thanks for the details And the verification that a decent score can still be acheived! and for the quick response :D Really appreciate your help! you’ve renewed my faith lol!
do you think 132k is really obtainable, i ask because i don’t recognize anyone in the top 10, which is unsual for these older levels?
@kathy, I think 132k possible, there’s big points in the concrete balls hitting each other
Oohh thanks @skowse ,i didn’t realize the boulders hitting each other gave points:/
Well back to the slingshot lol, appreciate your help: D
Daily Challenge.
Using Bluestacks on Win 10 Mac Bootcamp, as iOS needs too much luck.
First bird co-ord X=20.47 Y= 44.47
Second bird co-ord X=19.31 Y=46.49
Wait for first boulder to roll back then fling first. I find it better to fling the second quickly so that the second boulder doesn’t roll off. Second bird should bounce off it and upwards into the bell-like object and the snow blocks. Fairly easy to get mid to high 125k almost all the time but to get 130k required some luck and persistence. Good luck maybe someone will get a puppy.
Hi @steviep147 you have lost me. X. Y etc
Haha. Sorry @ixan57 . I play on iOS almost exclusively but a lot of high scores, throughout ABN, are being scored on this platform and I was curious. Bluestacks can be downloaded on Windows and once you get the hang of it it’s easy to play any level to a degree not possible on iOS. You can line up your best shot(s), save them and keep repeating until the desired result is achieved. It’s not a coincidence that some of the highest scores on ABN are from this platform. Once the aiming point is set up and saved it’s then possible to see or alter those co-ordinates it to the nth degree. They can also be shared which is what I have done.
Thanks @steviep147
Thanks @steviep147
Between us 😂 Bluestacks is a permitted power up!
133040/1 Hitting the closest boulder and then…some luck. Pictures in album
