To end the season, Summer Pignic level 30 is again quite difficult. Our strategy is to aim the first Boomerang bird downward, bouncing him off the rubber and into the left tower. Arc the next Boomerang bird over the structure, spinning him back into the bottom-right corner. Repeat the shot with the last Boomerang bird, spinning it a little earlier to score a direct hit on King Pig. The score in the video below is 104,970.

I just got 106870 with two birds… And yes only found 2 golden eggs with the 3 star basket.

I flew the first bird as low as I could over the tower, then hit the boomerang just as it drew level where the tower bcomes 2 sections wide. This meant the bird hit the tower just above the blocks, smashing through the angled wooden support on the way. This caused most of the tower to collapse. Flew the second bird the same which finished the tower collapse and hits the king pig. The remaining tower pieces also hit the king pig, enough damage to destroy it. Of course, I can’t seem to hit it quite the same again… (the old ‘luck’ factor!)

102980 3 birds. First 2 on the right structure like looscroos explaines. 2 small pigs remained. Third birds straight forward into the structure witch killed the remaining pigs and the items below on the left side.
106970 with 1 bird. Anyone know if it’s possible to smash those 3 white eggs?

My only explanation is one boomerang hit right above the concrete part of that support beam. Of course it was mostly accidental and I am sure I wouldn’t be able to do it again, but I promise you I am hardly about to lie about an iPhone game. ;) I can take a screenshot of the score if you’d like.

I can confirm the one bird hit. I hit just above the concrete part of the support beam also and was able to get it with one bird. My final score was 104290.
107690 with 1 bird! Just shoot above the solid part at the right of the castle. Thankalots for the trick, i tried a lot of times before to obtain it this way

106000 with 1 bird. It was a fluke. I think it hit just above the concrete block on the right side and went straight through and killed the big pig. I was very surprised when it happened as it had been taking two hits to kill that pig in all my previous attempts to get 3 stars. Doubt if I can do it again.
I got 105,160 with one bid as well. I just did a high arc and when I hit the boomerang, it went all the way through just above the concrete blocks and it all came down. I haven’t been able to do it again though…
ONE BIRD?!?! Ya right! I can’t even get 3 stars on this one! I can’t take out the right side with 2 birds, I have to use 3. This is impossible! I’m getting so frustrated!
Weirdest thing just happened to me…I got three stars earlier today using two birds. I came here to see how others were doing it out of curiosity and saw this post about doing it with one bird. Yeah, right, I thought to myself as I flung the first boomerang bird again. It hit right there, above the concrete support of the lower structure on the right hand side and brought down the big pig and everything else. 1 bird = 104860. Sweet!
I got 104410 with 1 bird also. I was so stunned watching it all come together, I couldn’t tell where it hit on the right side. I labored a long time just trying to get 3 stars.

Any one else hate these green birds? I have enjoyed Pignic for the most part, but the green birds are just evil. :). Now that these are finished, I can concentrate on finishing off the rest of Seasons! This has been a fun 30 days. I actually like the boomerang birds, but I know I’m probably in the minority here. I actually like the video explanation of the boomerang bird’s appearance–all those other birds are just so darn tired!
I liked the boomerang bird when he first unlocked, and still like it on some levels although often it’s useless. The little cartoon made me feel for the little guy.

So near and yet so far from a 108K just now. Had King Pig bruised and rolling with 93K scored showing and a 1 bird credit left. He refused to pop and so I was scuppered, but here’s the method as you may be a bit luckier.
Basically aimed the first boomerang bird at the base at the right hand side but as the right side fell it sort of
cantilevered off some of the wood on the left hand side too. So was at 88K to 90K after only 1 bird. Then as mentioned, the 2nd boomerang did not quite nail the big guy, but I saw that 108K was definitely possible.
Nobody will better Fuji Toast’s score for 3 birds in the walkthrough as that was just a Mighty Eagle clearance, bravo, so only a lucky 2 birder can ever top that score in my opinion… (not sure a 1 birder is possible or would do enough damage if it was possible)
Some now says they had a one bird hit with directions. Its like that spinning flower on the next level. It may be there.

I like the birds but everyone taking out this level with one bird means there is a lot of luck involved in this level.
As the video now show I’ve managed to do it this way to but still at 99k because I couldn’t break the two cement blocks in the rear. You can also do the very same thing shooting the first bird backwards and tapping the screen. Some how he managed 25,000 with the first bird. I might get 1000 points more but I’m not sure you can score higher this way than using two birds but 105k or so seems the limit unless someone does it with one bird, which doesn’t seem possible.
Yep, for me 102110 using the method of the video but I couldn’t get those two cement blocks to break on the left side above the picture of tea. Bird Leader, I think you have the best method. It worked pretty much for me. It gives you a few thousand over the two bird method or flinging the first bird back and over more easily. So now I’m stopping and going to look at the egg crate video unless some can post how they did it with 1 bird and got a lot of points. I almost got Mr. Big with one shot on the second bird per your video. With a lot of luck $115K is possible.

I didn’t start playing until after Season’s Greedings, so this was my first level-a-day update and I really enjoyed it!
I now think I know why it says “Easter Eggs” when you 3 star level 30. I found a spinning flower in the basket but I don’t know what caused it. It also happened when I crossed 69k and had on bomb left. I also saw a glass of tea appear on the left for no reason since there isn’t any tea in the basket level that I can see. So it may mean there are “Easter Eggs” as in hidden programs within the basket program.
So there is something to look for and not a one shot method of destroying this tower.
Scratch the tea it’s there already, but that spinning flower is no mistake after you 3 star this level of course.

FOR LEVEL 30 OF SUMMER PIGNICS
So, this is what Rovio left for us to celebrate the last level of Summer Pignics with three bloody boomerangs. Great.
109,900 using two birds.
Bird #1 (Useless and Broken Boomerang): WITHOUT tapping the screen for the bird to go into reverse, aim for the very far right edge of the bubble paper trampoline thingy. The bird will bounce and drill through Google Chrome’s pinwheel (for bonus points) and into two vertical wooden support planks on the upper left of the black platform. Once the planks are gone, the whole upper left structure will stumble to the left, killing two pigs. A lemonade pitcher will be destroyed in the process for bonus points.
Bird #2 (Useless and Broken Boomerang): Aim the bird over the structure and as soon as it’s at the spot where two planes meet: 1) horizontal wooden plank on very top of the structure and 2) left side of the yellow sunflower (in the background), tap the screen for the bird to go into reverse. The reversed bird will drill into a wooden block on the upper right of the second pig up from the ground under a wooden plank. It’ll go through and kill the big pig and through another wooden block on the lower right of the tiny pig. It’ll kill the tiny pig as the tower collapses straight down, killing all remaining pigs. The last pig is a little hard to get because it has hard helmet on. The more debris to fall on the pig, the helmet will be destroyed then with a little luck, a wooden plank will crash into the last pig to kill it.
Note: Don’t bother beating yourself up trying to get the eggs because they’re only 500 points each.
Bird #3 (Useless and Broken Boomerang): 10,000 points bonus if done correctly.
Yup, my prediction is correct: no golden egg in this level. However, if you got three stars for each one of all 30 levels (including this level), a 3-Star bonus level will be unlocked (in the level selection, swipe the screen to the left, you should see a big picnic basket with three stars on the side). Expect to see Oh, Those Summer Nights and Summer Pignic – Total Destruction achievements after finishing the last level. If you have a score of more than 3,398,000 points total, you’re supposed to have the Summer Pignics – Score Addict achievement, which is bugged. Report your complaints to Rovio about this bug via Twitter, FaceBook, and/or email..

FOR THREE STARS PICNIC BASKET LEVEL
Note: This level can be unlocked if you 3-starred all 30 levels.
Ah, just something we needed: an assembly of three SR-71 Blackbirds to blow everything away.
66,140 using two birds.
Bird #1 (SR-71 Blackbird): Simply aim for the white egg on the lower left of the food tower. Just before crashing into the white egg, tap the screen to set the bomb off. This will push the food tower to the right, destroying the kite, all flowers, and some grass patches on the black hill on the far right. Most likely the flowers on the ground level won’t be destroyed just yet. The blast force wave will destroy the picnic basket and throw the lemonade pitcher to the left, killing the small pig and destroying two flowers (red and pink). The pitcher will be destroyed after destroying the last flower on the far left. Most likely the pigs on the right side of food tower won’t be killed just yet
Bird #2 (SR-71 Blackbird): Repeat the step as shown above. This will break the food tower to kill the last two remaining pigs on the right and destroying the two last flowers on the ground level on the right of where the last two pigs was.
Bird #3 (SR-71 Blackbird): 10,000 points bonus if done correctly.

Of course, it is totally your prerogative to keep a low profile, but I hope you do understand that your unwillingness to give out your gamecenter screen name and your absence on the leaderboards here only fuels the speculation that your posts are not entirely legit. I mention this primarily because I seem to remember you getting your hackles up a bit when people questioned your credibility. My own personal opinion on the credibility of your posts is irrelevant, as this is not my board and it is not my job to hunt down, point my finger at and/or eradicate suspected trolls.
I agree ChaosTsar, and I used to be one of Joe’s supporters. His continued sarcasm and “I’m better than the rest of you” mentality has really led me to question his scores even more. I know he posts screen shots and diagrams and all that, but his attitude toward the rest of us is really insulting. I guess it’s like the old Chinese proverb – “If Joe gets a score on AB and no one is there to see it, does it really happen?” I guess Joe thinks so, but it’s not up to us to judge.
There is a spinning flower in that pignic basket. Im not sure how to make it happen again but it spun in the middle of the screen dead center and turned 69k into 71k. It may be one of the flowers from below kicked up but it spun faster than those and appeared larger dead center of the screen.
If someone figures this out I would really like to know how it happened.

The pinwheel has Chrome colors to it. I’ve been calling it a Chrome pinwheel as well.
I think you all take this a little too seriously, Joe’s methods are GREAT – this is a GAME – there is so much luck involved with a high score on this game. you can fire a bird one hundred times to the same spot and get a different score each time… Just relax and enjoy … and remember you are questioning someones credibility about a GAME… good grief.. get some fresh air.. hug your kids .. hug your mom and dad… live a little…… and thanks for this board …
Um, got eggs. They can’t be destroyed, but maybe they out to let you destroy them and take away points for killing the good guys.
110140 with 2 birds. first bird hit the uppermost grassy rock from right to left. a fluke hit causes the structure to collapse both right and left; the 2 rocks on the left may get pulled down too. most of the pigs are gone so with second bird hit the boss pig.
I got 110110 this same way… not that I can do it again!
alright every level completed, every level 3-starred, whats next? i guess probably nothing until Rio is out on dvd and we can unlock those bonus levels, eh?
Yeah, pretty much. At least the Rio DVD is due on August 2nd, which is about a week and half from now.
After Rio’s secret levels? I don’t know. Buy Siege Hero HD for iOS device as an alternative.

I agree. It was impolite of me, not to tell how I did it with one bird and got 108,360! LOL. BUT I Don’t know how. I just used the green bird as normal. It realy came as a shock. I know I hit the structure close to the big pig. And boooommmm! I am not a super player, therefor I am very happy. And the video! Worth an Oscar.

I have loved playing the summer picnic game, HOWEVER, it has been very frustrating for me because it has locked up or crashed on me so many times and I’ve actually had to uninstall and reinstall now 3 times. Each time, my data is lost (for the entire Seasons series!!!) and I’ve had to start all over. 29 levels, 3 stars each, go to open level 30 and… BLACK screen. Gone. Every game in this series is back to 0 stars, 0 points and I’m feeling a little bit insane for even attempting to build it back up again because I’m convinced it’ll just crash on me again.
Anyone else having similar problems? Any idea about a fix? I love Seasons and hate to discard it, but really… I’d be nuts to keep building up stars only to have to start all over again… and again…

What type of phone do you have? Can you keep intermittent backups that you can restore in the event something happens? I definitely would.

If you play on an Android phone, there are apps to back up your scores. You may have to find golden eggs again, however. I have had the same problem several times, only with Rio. I will personally be very grateful when the angry birds sync is here!
If you play on ipod, iphone or ipad, I am sure there are apps for backup, as well. I just don’t use any of those devices.
Just got 83360 using three birds on three stars Picnic basket level.
There was somekind of “spinning” egg that came lose from the food tower, and destroyed alot of the food.

Yep a big thanks for that. Those spinning things look different every single time. It’s hard to do twice because the level ends as soon as the last pig is killed although it will wait until an egg falls. If the spinning thing gets really going the level wont quit because there is an egg I know for sure in 9 out of 10 of them that I manage to make.
Folding the tower on top of itself is the most likely way to make one appear. On FT’s video the level gave him time after the pigs were destroyed. I haven’t figured that out unless doing it a second time makes it harder.
Has anyone else noticed with the latest updates many levels end when the last pig dies and wont give a collapsing structure time to collapse in mid collapse?

This last level absolutely drove me nuts. Couldn’t get that last pig with the hard hat until I read Joe’s description of when to tap for the second bird. Finally finished it, though.

I know a lot of questions have been asked about the “bonus Rio levels,” but I was wondering the release date for Victoria, Australia, and also how I know that the DVD I’m buying has the level code inside? Will they all have the level code, or will it only be out for a certain ammount of time? Only reason I’m asking is I CANNOT miss an oppurtunity to play 15 new levels!

I’ve been trying to get over 100K for more time than I care to admit. I finally got 103190 with a slight variation to the first bird. I kept trying to get damage with the bounce move outlined by Joe, but I only once got the stone blocks to fall. By flinging the first bird backwards and tapping immediately, it goes breaks the wood blocks such that the stuff fallling from above stacks up on them and tumbles them over the edge. MUCH more reproducible.
Now I just need to try to find the secret place for the one-bird money shot in step 2…
104,180 with 3 birds and LUCK. Did it exactly like the video, but got more destruction with the 2nd bird … only had to smash big pig and 1 long board with the 3rd bird.

Nope, been wondering that myself. They could obviously extend the existing episodes (i.e. more levels of Trick or Treat, Seasons Greedings, etc) or maybe the’ll do something new. Regardless, I hope they continue building upon Seasons.

I’ve been thinking about this as well. Maybe (although this isn’t really a season) they will make an AB Seasons pack based on a 1 Year Anniversary of Seasons?
I mean, if I were trying to make a successful game like Seasons which, as it is, doesn’t have as many levels as normal AB, I would like to continue making levels, and there isn’t really any more seasons to base levels on… And an anniversary level pack be-it for AB or AB Seasons would be interesting, plus feels more “season-y” than not ;)

I, too, was able to do it with one bird by hitting the sweet spot right above the concrete on the far right. Score was 103,900. It must have to do with the exact angle and speed that you hit that spot. And luck, of course.
I got 105170 with the same basic method as the video. Just got lucky. I find the 106000 scores a little skeptical as well. I played this board SEVERAL times to beat the video score and don’t see how 106… is possible.
Anyone able to beat 111360??? Done with one bird, complete fluke as it was about 7k higher than my previous score!

Yep, you don’t have to bounce it off the pad. You can fling it backwards and then tap it to make it go the other way. Some have reported more points this way. I don’t think it makes too much difference either way.
I want to get it with one bird. When I get time I’m going to try again.

Pass all the levels with 3 stars then pass the Big Basket level.

This level is rather challenging but it has not been changed. High scores are possible, but a bit rare.
