To end the season, Summer Pignic level 30 is again quite difficult. Our strategy is to aim the first Boomerang bird downward, bouncing him off the rubber and into the left tower. Arc the next Boomerang bird over the structure, spinning him back into the bottom-right corner. Repeat the shot with the last Boomerang bird, spinning it a little earlier to score a direct hit on King Pig. The score in the video below is 104,970.
Last but not least, I want to extend a BIG THANKS to everyone who has participated on ABN over the past 30 days. It really has been fun to see the same names and faces avatars providing so much great information to the bustling Angry Birds community. Again, thanks, and here’s to the next update.

A small mistake that prove the lie, scores always finish with a 0 so the 9 at the end betrays you. I think max score with 3 birds should be around 105,000. I got 103,090 for now using 3 birds.

I’m at 90 something and two rids up and over aimed at Mr. Big Pig. Has anyone been able to get to the egg patch without clearing the game?

Just a great game. Rovio has done good job.
I’m always amazed at how much people like to complain about Angry Birds, yet they seem to play it pretty regularly anyway. Honestly, I like the variations, even though there are particular individual levels that drive me nuts (lunar lander, anyone?).
When people start complaining, maybe they should think of what they paid for the app–pretty good deal if you ask me.
As I just mentioned somewhere else, I actually liked the tie in of the boomerange bird to the video. Boomerang showed up because the other birds are just too tired and beat up.

It’s gotten to the point where I’m unsure if I’ll download any future Angry Birds games. I’m sick and tired of obviously getting achievements and being denied them for whatever poor programming Rovio is putting into the games.
Like you, I’ve all the achievements except for the score achievement, even though I’m just about 100,000 points over the stated amount.

I have 3,517,000 but my award doesn’t show up, yet.
Got 107,760 by using only one bird! Launched the bird so that it doesn’t fly to high over the structure, then released it between the two medium pigs wearing hats. This caused a chain reaction that destroyed everything.
Tried your method. It really helps not to fly too high over the structure. Still used 2 birds and “only” got 95650, so not 3 stars yet!!!! Have you managed to repeat your step?
When I beat this final level, I got a pop-up screen that said something like
“Have a great summer from the Angey Birds Team.”
And there were 2 buttons on it.
One was a basket I think, and the other was a photo.
I saw the photo and I could see it again when i beat the level again, but I couldn’t get the basket button again.

Are the three eggs at the bottom the key to a Golden aegg? I can’t get them either. The bounce pad to the left of the main structure must be a red herring as I can’t see what it achieves. I too am disappointed with this level and the three-star bonus one
I think the bounce pad is a good part of this level and I use it every time.
If you send the first bird down onto it at a 45 deg angle it will bounce up and
mostly (not a random thing) destroy the long vertical wooden upright. This sends
the left hand structure wood down and often destroys the glass pitcher and the
pinwheel. This usually means a 19K to 24K points.
It does then mean you have to finish off the right hand side and the tricky pig
in the hat with just 2 boomerang birds but it can be done. Best so far is 102770
but will try to squeeze a bit more out of it.
(BTW, I tried to make the bouncy shot my 3rd shot after killing all the pigs on the
right hand side with 2 birds and was on 92K but, unfortunately, the level froze the
3rd bird really fast for 10K before I could ping another shot off)
I tried that at first but never could get the couple of thousand there and still break that tower and then it still takes two more birds to finish it.
Do you spin the bird just before it hits the bouncy pad?
I used the bounce pad a few times, but felt I could get the same results just tossing the bird into the wooden block resting on the concrete.
After watching the video, I think you are supposed to save them, but I wonder about other levels and if there is anything left as far as eggs go? You would think they would have left them later in the levels or added a couple more.
3-star threshhold is at least 90k. Right now, I have 89,530 and 2 stars.

There is highscoretables and the “forum” for all leveles to give tips how to achieve topscore.
No badgerin on this site, please. While I agree that users should post their process along with scores, there are nicer ways of conveying that belief.

can this level really be done by ONE bird only??? i got 101K with 3 birds and virtually destroyed everything, incl the “wheel” and jar on the bottom left (just against the cliff) …. those 2 worth 1K, though not much ….

I dare them too. You can destroy/bring down the whole left structure. But the big fat pig will never ever be destroyed by the falling parts. He will hardly loose his hat and you have to be lucky there too, becaase the stones aren’t and will never ever fall on the big fat pig. No matter where you hit the structure. Best way to clear/crush most of the parts is hitting the bottom pillar and let it crumble and maybe the pig is free to hit. And still with the hat on, he won’t die with a one hit…
At least that is my obervation so far. After 100+ times. And I am really not a bad player, but also not in the top 10. That is my conclusion so far. I have to see it, before I believe it and on which platform.
And what is the point of the right structure if not, to collect more points for a highscore?
While I cannot say I have done this level with one bird ( my best is two birds), I can say I have killed the big pig with his white hat still on with one bird. The debris falling on him got rid of the white hat and then the bird fell on him and took him out with one shot. But that happened to be my second bird not my first. It probably can be done with one bird but it would have to be a very lucky shot.

Whee I’m up to 99,130 now. I’m pretty sure anything over 110,000 would be a super duper player and until I see it, I wont believe one bird can do it.
#1 Hit right below solid block near the base (that should take out most every pig).
#2 Hit a little higher and Mr. Big.

i did it with one bird ! but it was luck the bird just went through to the big pig , destroying it and making the whole structure colapse !
@Waleed: that doesn’t really answer the question that was asked. *How* did you do it? Specifically, I think people want to know where on the structure to hit.
I actually do believe that it can be done, but I am curious about where the one birders are aiming (e.g., just above the sloped plank, or more towards the bottom).. It seems to me that there are two possible paths.
I managed a 1-bird solution but got a little bit robbed on the points (103k total; screenshot had a very small amount of damage left to go). There seems to be a small sweet-spot on the vertical stone piece, because I managed to get the Boomerang Bird straight through all the way to King Piggy. I think using FujiToast’s first shot, then getting this one would result in nearly 110k, but that’s probably the absolute max.

As you can see, it went straight through the stone block, leaving the slanted support beam in-tact.
I used a very similar technique of having the Boomerang Bird hit the horizontal wood plank above the vertical stone block or hit the top of the stone block. The goal was not to obtain a one bird solution but to get as deep as possible for destruction and obtain as many points with the first BB. On two occasions the BB did go all the way to the big pig and hit is hard enough to erase the white hat. The score with the first bird is over 80k. Noticed that in order to obtain a final score over 105k with two birds, the three top triangles have to fall and the wood on the left side gets pushed off (almost like lifted off by another board) to the left taking out the pitcher and pin wheel.

I have to add that you posted a very helpful screenshot. I wish, when folks posted screenshots (especially to prove something) that they would do it with the damage rather than just a screenshot with the high score. I know people probably don’t think of it at the time, but being as ABOCD (Angry Birds OCD–a new diagnosis for the DSM!) as I am, I tend to snap a shot whenever I get something amazing.
I have t add, a bit off the immediate topic, for some reason I have really struggled with the last two levels! I ended up with a great rank, but the last couple of days have been rough.
It seems they forgot to change the titles on the text boxes – mine still says “Easter Eggs”. Rovio’s QA is slipping fast.

Some of us got achievement for finishing + achievement for 3 stars. As far as I know, none of us were awarded the Score Addict achievement.

You aren’t alone. Many people on this site are reporting the same thing. In fact, no one has reported receiving these achievements.

Rovio has gotten lazy, pure and simple.
Much as it pains me to say it, I won’t be buying any other Angry Bird titles until they can start promising I’ll get my achievements.
I don’t think it’s laziness at all. I think it was a simple lapse in coding and an honest mistake. Many users here (and Tweeters) have informed Rovio of the errors and I’m sure they are investigating it. I also believe Rovio is working on their own in-house achievement system, basically so Android / Mac / PC / etc. can join the fun. This is also a MASSIVE game and Rovio is still a very small company. Maybe they’ll tab AngryBirdsNest users and allow us to help beta test. Problem, beta testing on iOS is not easy for a company to do, which is something Apple should really try and fix. Not sure about other platforms, though I presume it’s likely easier since they’re much more open.
Yep, the seasons version is a hobby compared to the main version and Rio. I also don’t thin the summer pignic is any worse than any other seasons levels except for the Halloween levels. They pulled out all the stops then.
Remember guys these levels were already programmed way back when the new Rio and the Main version levels came out.
One thing they said is that they wanted Angry Birds to be the next Mario. If they do the maybe giving us an extra bird for going past a certain score would be cool, kind of like a 1-up.
I feel the frustration too, but lets not point fingers. Who knows what the heck is causing this. I doubt Rovio would just change their Game Center classes in their code. Maybe Apple tweaked something in their API (probably not), maybe some other code block isn’t playing nice, who knows. Like I said, I am frustrated by this too, but I hate pointing fingers when I don’t know for sure. This game cost $1.00 and brings hours of enjoyment. The fact that a single achievement isn’t registering shouldn’t deteriorate that fact.
Wow, seriously? Te achievements are fun and all, but in the end it is a little badge on Game Center (which, many users don’t even get because Game Center is iOS only).
What I like, in particular, is the achievements give me something to aim for. In the end, I know I achieved Score Addict a few days ago, but getting not receiving a little electronic badge immediately isn’t the end of my world. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the levels, and *that* is what matter to me.
I agree. I used to get a little frustrated when I didn’t get my deserved achievements but now, it’s kinda become the norm and not just for Angry Birds either. I wonder if when apple updates GameCenter in iOS5 we’ll see fewer problems. Who knows. But in the meantime, I know I got the achievements so my goal has been met. Life goes on. It’s a great game whether it has achievements or not. ESPECIALLY for the price. Seriously. 1 dollar.
$1 — I know! It simply blows me away how many updates I’ve gotten for a total of $3.96: AB + Mighty Eagle, AB Seasons, AB Rio, AB Lite, AB Free, AB Seasons Free, and AB Rio Free. As hooked as I was after the original AB, I would have probably paid for several updates (maybe even all of them), and I don’t think I’m alone with that. Multiply the number of updates by $1.00, then by the number of folks who would have likely bought some or all of them, and the money that Rovio has forgone by offering all of these updates at no additional charge simply boggles my mind. Don’t get me wrong — I’m certainly not complaining, but wow. Although the failure of some achievements to register and the existence of some major bugs can be an annoyance, all of that is totally outweighed by the sheer amount of recreational time my $3.96 investment has bought me.
Don’t take it the wrong way, I’m not pointing fingers guys, just wondering why it’s happening!
@FujiToast: I know it’s just a badge, but it feels pretty damn good strolling up to your fellow AB player friends and showing them a full list of completed achievements! Much faster too than saying “See I have this achievement, but it didn’t come up. Lets compare how much score I needed. You need…… :)

I got 103,682.25 so far, rounded down to the nearest ten.
Everyone seems to have the same method, so no need to repeat. Still…
BIRD 1: arc it low over the tower, hitting the boomerang when the bird is just about the HEIGHT of (but not as far as) the background sunflower. This should send it back into the lowest braces — ideally the lowest horizontal plank, which extends over the king. Depending on luck, everything on the right side comes down, leaving him mostly exposed.
BIRD 2: arc this one a bit HIGHER than the first, and send it back just a bit earlier. The higher arc is important to send on a more downward trajectory, right into the king. Otherwise it wastes some of its energy and ends up resting on top of him. That bastard!
BIRD 3: a bonus, if all goes well on the initial attack. Sometimes, though, that pig on top remains. Aim into the bounce pad at a 45-degree angle. Takes out the supports, bring debris down on the flower and lemonade. Usually enough points to get three stars.
THREE-STAR LEVEL: 65,280. Most fun way is to just send the bombs into the bottom of the food pile and detonate, sending it flying back and forth. Two bombs should do it.

Yep. Method same but in step one I try to hit the small vertical concrete block which is connected to diagonal wooden support.
Most of time boomerang bird will go through that and right side will collapse almost totally.
Second bird: destrey the left side by aiming bird backwards (about clock 10) and almost immediately tap the screen to turn direction.
Should hit horizonal bar top of two vertical bars.
Third bird: destroy the king bit higher angle than first bird and tap screen like lootcroot instructed.
Got 103100.
PS: now it is time to improve other levels… :)
PPS: the three eggs in the cave can not be destroyed…
And one thing more. I have feeling that there is small area (“sweet spot”) in that small concrete block where bird can go through.
Remember, I just have a feeling, not really sure.

Sometimes it’s fun just to see how many different ways you can complete these things. For example, I figured out a way to finish 1-27 with one bird. The score you get is crap, but the exploration is fun. (Or maybe I just need to get back to work.)
Three star level 66450 with two bombs knocked whatever that tall wobbly thing is up on the hill side. It looked funny as can be. Maybe there is a way to break it and get lots of points but I’m beginning to think these are boring too.
Hopefully the new levels on the Rio and the original version will be complete soon giving you plenty to do.
