Angry Birds Seasons Mooncake Festival Level 2-15 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Mooncake Festival level 2-15 is to fire the White bird high and bomb between the first two towers. Lob the Yellow bird and speed through the two pigs remaining on the left side. Finally, fire the White bird over the whole structure and bomb the last piece of paper art on the right side. The score in the video below is 68,340.

I encountered a super weird glitch in this level when I completed the level a picture is supposed to pop up right? Well I saw the picture and I revisted the level the next day to three star it. When I three star the level instead of getting a picture button at the as usual I instead got a roll of film(probably from trick or treat.) that replaced the picture . I first I was excited because I thought I discovered a super secret ending movie or whatever. When I tapped the film my game force closed instantly! Puzzled I turn on the game again and when I beat this level the picture returned at the completion screen and the roll of film was nowhere to be seen. Weird huh?

With the same method in vid, I was lucky enough to take out more pigs with the first egg drop… so the second bird managed to get some more of the structure on the way thru. Final score: 69640.

I like levels like this; not a lot of distance from 3 star to high score. It makes me feel like a great player, when I am so close to the top scorer! I’ve spent the last few days trying to improve my scores on Mooncakes. Now onto Summer Pignic and maybe another crack at Season’s Greedings (if I want to feel frustrated :) ).

There aren’t a lot of secrets here. I used the video’s strategy, but with much better destruction. I had around 31k after the first shot (almost all of the debris rolled off to the side nicely) and almost 45k after the second shot (the yellow bird broke through the bottom horizontal plank for some extra points). The video’s third shot then very reliably earns 20k, which makes for 75k when the 10k for the extra bird is added in.

On the third shot, I feel like it might be possible to arc the bird into the tiny gap between the middle and right structures and do an ultra-late detonation to get both pigs and lanterns while destroying significantly more wood. I haven’t been able to pull this off, but I think it would be worth considering if you were going for a top score. It would require extraordinary precision in terms of both aiming and activation, making for a seriously daunting task when the pressure’s on after a good first two shots, but it’s the only way I can easily see to potentially reach 80k.

Used the techniques that @austinrhl mentioned with the scoring estimates as a goal to increase the score 7k+.
A few extra tips:
1. Land the White Bird’s egg just a tad to the left of the second lantern from the left. This helps push the wood pile to the left to obtain extra points and take out the two flowers on bottom left.
2. Land the Yellow Bird just to the left of the second base vertical post. This aids in destroying the remaining wood and getting the flower between the two vertical base posts on the left side.
3. Try to land the egg of the second White Bird on the horizontal wood plank just to the left of the last lantern on the far right. The two remaining pigs become vapor. If one has luck riding on their shoulder, at least one/two of the flowers below get destroyed.
These are challenging shots to make them correctly and have only succeeded in the task three times. Dropping both eggs has provided the challenge but increasing one’s score is obtainable. Finally above average.

Same as the video on top, but like @austinrhl mentioned there is room for improvement. I had the exact same numbers after the first 2 birds as Austin and ended up with a score of 73850. Guess the third bird could do with some improvement for me.

Thinking I have been flinging all day with the only 3 birds…

So, Matilda 1 to third lantern, around 21k. Chuck 1 same trajectory, accelerating on the descent. 33k possible after it.
Then the first two shots are the classic ones.

I had several 85k+ scores in minutes using this.

Anyway, here is the final result

First bird high arc to 3rd lantern, take out 4th as well. Leave central structure intact. Weaken plank above final pig on right. 21k.
Second bird high arc to 1st lantern but also break through small bit of horizontal plank. The 2 pigs will die and wood will fall left. Aim to get above 45k.
Third bird high arc to 2nd lantern. Release egg late. Matilda needs to flick off the planks to her right and break through the weakened plank to kill final pig on right. 77k plus 10k bonus. Reasonably repeatable. 90k possible I think with this method.

@sweetp, puppy score. Proof in album.

Well I did try it and it worked! Thanks @desperatedan. First shot is the money shot detonate as late as possible and sometimes that far right pig gets lamped if Matilda stays within range and bounces on him
making scores around 90k a little easier.
