@chirpy43 that is an amazing score! 30k more than closest competitor. Is there some glitch, or fluke 1-birder? Thanks for the screen shot. Would love to hear how you achieved it.

With the same first two shots as the video, you can get some interesting results by going underneath to the hollow wood blocks for shot 3.

This is how I got my best score. On the the downside, this 4th bird shot often leaves the rightmost pig alive. On the plus side, there are a bunch of points around those three hollow blocks that you’ll never claim with the video strategy’s 4th shot.

@stocktoad,@samsonkj try all four birds straight ahead w/5th for bonus points. The first 3 leave a bridge for the 4th bird to bring down. With luck, the right side crashes down to destroy the wood blocks. Can’t get much value from Stella this way, but when she goes to the top, the bridge collapse seems less effective.

Thank for posting @Vuelva , using your strat, no glitch, i managed to grab spot#5 , great tip on sending the 4th shot to the hollow block! tough shot but works great when you make it 🐣

139670/4 with a minor variation on this. was playing the first 3 birds to break three (of the four) vertical glass pieces (for the next shot it’s better for the fourth to lean a bit like \). sent the 4th to leftmost square hollow wood activating when it bounces up. then the tension in the structure should cause the left and right sides to slowly give way (for this the 4th glass vertical is instrumental). hope that they really do, and that then the pumpkin explodes in the thick of it. got a 130k+ score the first time i tried this, and got several 137k+ scores before getting the 139k score after an hour (with several k more in it).

btw i have no problems with chirpy43 ‘s amazing score.

Thanks for posting this strategy. It worked fine but it told some practice. The right side pig was the challenge. Learn that I needed to wait a 10-15 second prior to resetting because the right side took a little time to fall to the left.

@vuelva Thank you for this most excellent strategy! @wrw01 Thank you for the tip about waiting prior to resetting. I had only succeeded in breaking two of the four glass verticals, so when I threw Bubbles to the bottom, the top section of the structure just hung there. I walked away for about 5 minutes, and when I came back, I had this result!

@chirpy43 we see your picture. Thank you. What we really need now is your strategy, i.e. How did you get such a fabulous score? Us flingers with lesser scores need to know. The good thing about the nest is sharing with others. It makes us fling better! And you find friends….

I flung the red bird at the tip of that first brown stick and the whole structure just exploded and collapsed. Like how sometimes the physics engine flips out when there’s too much tension on a joint against an unmovable object.

I used to use angrybirds-score.com for logging my scores.
Go look me up and you’ll see that I’m the #2 highest rated Android player and #8 highest rated overall. It was not possible to cheat because the app uploaded your highscores file and was also able to differentiate between scores achieved using power-ups. The site is no longer active but you can see here. http://angrybirds-score.com/classement.php (click Extra > All Games).

I answered above. I can assure you that I’m quite opposed to the use of power ups. I only entered this score because it was unusually high. I’ve been a member of this site for many years. I didn’t just decide today I’m going to enter 1 fake score.

Thanks for the explanation of why you only have 1 score entered @chirpy43 , as a long standing member, you should be aware that typically a single score entry is suspicious , and usually removed.
i am not an admin either. I’m sure Mighty Red will consider this.

In answer to everyone’s question whether glitch scores are allowed, the answer has always been no. The reason being, that it is not fair to all of us other players that would not be able to duplicate these freak occurrences.

Sorry, I know it’s not the answer you wanted to hear, @chirpy43. But we’d like to keep the friendly camaraderie growing in the Nest, and not have a bunch of disgruntled, frustrated Nesters beating down my door!

Something else I wanted to address as @kathy mentioned above. It does raise red flags when only one score is entered within an entire episode on the leaderboards. Could you please enter the rest of the scores you’ve acquired so far in Hammier Things? Thank you.

Regarding glitch scores not being allowed…what about that exploding Santa hat glitch from years ago? I’m still annoyed that those scores were allowed and that I will never be able to achieve average score for that level.

I’m totally opposed to those santa hat glitch scores as well. It’s basically pointless for anyone to go back and attempt to make a run at those leaderboards. You can’t have some glitches being ok and others not. Glitches are glitches. They shouldn’t be allowed.

I don’t think this is a glitch, I think this level just self destructs or partially self destructs on occasions, I’ve certainly seen a partial collapse when hitting the tip of the brown stick, and there is slight movement of the glass verticals, and the last glass vertical on the left structure has a stone block underneath that wobbles. It will be interesting to see if someone else gets an amazing score and vindicates this high score
I just hope it’s me!
