Our strategy for Timber Tumble Level #14 is to wait for the swinging boulder to approach the leftmost structure. The remote is in the extreme right structure; detonate by either sending the Yellow bird above everything or bouncing him off the tire below (Sal went high; Slim went low). Use the Black bird to destroy whatever remains. The score in the video below is 215,330.
Whoa! There’s something hidden here!
Below is Slim’s video, where the Yellow bird goes low. A one-bird clear is possible from this strategy, though the two-bird solution still yields a score of 224,400.
I liked the Slim low approach. 220k and one bird. Key seems to be having the cart spin and land on the TNT, propelling the cart right to the structure.
203,330 = 2*
205,320 = 3*
204k anyone?
204k is 2 stars. 205k is 3 star min. @admins – this is the last one!
Awesome @annach – Thank You!
i ll be satisfied with my effort 205090 !!!! it 3 stars me that’s all i am after be satisfied with that i say ay !!!
Bravo, @dundee !!! As I mentioned below – which includes a combination of what others so kindly suggested, I was just lucky on this one …. & dedicated the score to my friend Stevie – who I { still :-( } miss very much …….

I hope you have as many fun times with ABs as we have had — & still do :-). Best & Cheers :-), Rogue
PS. Just in case you are interested, @dundee , I flubbed the link, above (to Stevie’s pic) — so I’ve added what I *think* works, below :-)

@affemaedsche WOW that’s one impressive score! Care to share your strategy please?
One bird clear using Slim’s strat, got final score of 239,340.
Oops 230,760 is the proper score for #14.
@amslimfordy thanks for the hi-score strat. I followed it exactly and got a 1-birder when the cart tumbled off the edge, fell onto the rubber, and bounced into the middle structure. If more of the debris were destroyed, I may have challenged the top score. I did find that if I waited until the cart moved more than half-way to the left across the top platform before I launced the YB, the cart was more likely to fall off the edge. If I launched YB too quickly, the cart sometimes stalled in place and potential points were lost.
I followed @AMslimfordy‘s strategy, and got a lucky one-birder when the cart fell off the ledge and fell onto the rubber platform. Then it bounced to the right taking out the middle structure. There is a possible 240k if the vases and wood shelves could be destroyed as well.
Very frustrating level, it’s a combination of skills and luck. Here some little addition to @sweetp strat.
When you look at the black boulder as a pendulum – and the vehicle reaches the left side of the middle structure, wait for the pendulum swinging to left. When this movement has start, fling yellow bird as in video #2. All works fine, but … you are very dependent of what the rebounce of the vehicle does. Happy flinging.
Oh boy was it difficult, for me at least, to get above average (no it hasn’t actually taken 9 months, I’m just behind.) It was @bernersenn suggestion to think of the swinging black boulder as a pendulum that finally got my above average 221570 on iPad shooting down. I’m a little thick today as I just absolutely could not get @kelani to work when aiming up.
@justpast40 great you did it. I’m glad that I could help
There’s a trick to getting the high-scoring 1-birder repeatedly, and a few things that must happen along the way. First, the cart must be rolling slowly when it falls. It also must land upside down on the tire to bounce properly. To hit the 2nd structure, the 1st structure must be gone. Now here’s the trick to do that:
When you destroy the switch after the cart passes the big green plant above the left side of the 2nd structure, it speeds up, which ruins the 1 birder. The trick is to shoot earlier, BUT time it so the switch is destroyed at the same time the black ball has swung left of center.
To do this on iPad, Zoom in full and release Chuck toward the tire 1/4 second after you first see the black ball swing into view. Success depends on when the switch is destroyed. This varies, so DON’T adjust your timing. When it’s right, the black ball plows down the middle and destroys everything. This is what you want. Get that, and you’ll get frequent 1-birders. From there, it’s all up to the Rovio gods.
Also, if the 1b fails and you have over 150k, fling Bomby into the 2nd structure. This 2 birder is capable of 220-232k scores.
@kelani great strat for a one birder! I didnt zoom in, but found an aiming point in the tree. Got consistent on-birdies almost 90% of the time unfortunately not high scoring but definitely good for above average:)
Thanks @kelani! On my second pass through TT & your strat raised my score by lots of ks!
@kelani Many thanks and much admiration for the excellent 1-birder strategy details! Saved me…oh..days.
Alternatively, I did notice that bomb bird often seems to cause max destruction when detonated just before hitting the target.
Tweet Tweet!!! Yipppeeee high score! https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/bird-addict/album/picture/10444/ BIG thanks to @kelani for the detailed tips. I think this May have been the fewest flings for a trophy, yet. I didn’t see who had the high score before I entered my own. I just never expect to reach the trophy. But my apologies for the bump.
@bird-addict well, chirpy chirp, and you’re welcome! :) I missed your mention somehow, so congrats on your awesome high score, and I’m glad my strategy/novel helped you get it so quickly.
Now, why don’t my strategies ever do that for me? *waah* :)
Thanks! For high score strategy!
My score improved 9K!
I was just lucky on this one …. & am dedicating the score to my friend Stevie – who I miss very much …….

I didn’t actually read the comments until after I fumbled around a lot, as usual :) , & finally got a score I hoped would be worth a check with the site. Then I read :). Like @bird-addict { btw, CONGRATS & ‘Tweet’/etc.!!! :) }, I was shocked!
{ Pls pardon the bump; as you know, these these things are incredible FUN … & almost always, ‘positionally VERY temporary’ :-) }. My ‘strategy contributions’ are generally confusing (apologies!); however, in this case, hopefully, a summary of what I did will shed a faint glimmer for anyone interested :-). Basically what I’d done for my score
was to incorporate several strategies of others; so, THX to @amslimfordy & @jwgardenwiz [& @hunnybunny for asking :)]
AND @bernersenn & @kelani — since the one birder is what I used – taking the ‘PENDULUM’ effect (crucial) for having the black
ball destroy-all on left (often, I most-unintentionally leave one stone/steel ‘rods’ on the ‘trunk ledge’ – which completely
fouls-up the *bounce* by the lil ‘truck/cart/whichever’). Also, for ‘timing’, I accelerate Chuck/YB right before reaching the
angled “bouncy black tire”….. trying to co-ordinate with the position of the rolling cart … as shown in snapshot below:
06.28.15_AB Rio TimberTumble No. 14 (alt 1-bird strategy w YB acceleration timing).JPG
{ THX, also, to @kathy :-) } …. Best & Cheers to ALL !!! ….. Rogue :)
My prev posted score of 236,220 was removed – as w #5 & #11 :-)…. again, I assume due to Rovio’s DBC NOT being fixed …. sorry :-( . If any of you would be so kind as to view the snap/pic referenced above – & consider hardly any debris left & the strategy used, I think I should be allowed to post/’re-post’ the 236,220 …. I think the score is legit & would very much appreciate your thoughts — if you will :-).
Thanks tons(!), ALL : @bernersenn @peejaydee27 @sweetp @kelani @hunnybunny @kathy @admins et al …. Best & Cheers, Rogue :)
Hi Folks(!),
Once again, thanks so much for all your kind help & feedback; and, after a few weeks of revu, it appears that the score I previously posted
( 236,260 ) is ok after all (so I’ve ‘reposted’ score – pls see above for pic link); i.e., no complaints/evidence that (on this one, anyway) I was a victim of the DBC (Double Bird Count). If I goofed, please let me know! THANKS. ALL!
I haven’t heard anything from anyone telling me that there is something wrong with me playing and posting scores Rovio displays – other than #5 – in TT. Should I be doing something different? Pls advise { OH, & THX! :-) }
Again, Best & Cheers & THX! :-)
Rogue

I employed the second video strategy of @amslimfordy . Yellow to the tire. Time so ball falls in center of left.
https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/wicket182/album/picture/23810/ @sweetp
Went for the low “bounce off the tyre” method. Similar to the method described by @Kelani, but I released Chuck later. Playing fully zoomed in on iPad, waited until the suspended cart was fully in view, then launched Chuck ust as the pendulum started its next swing to the left. This corresponds to the moment when the rear wheel of the cart clears the middle leaf of the large plant on the left of the platform (see screen cap if this doesn’t make sense!). The ball destroyed the left structure completely leaving the way clear for the cart to bounce into the middle structure taking everything down. Took lots of tries but finally paid off. Good luck all.

@sweetp
classic-one-birder.
search a point on top, use everyone the same point.
then activate either immediately or late.
then search the time to start.
i used a double-click, start, when the cart is between the green 1 and 2.
pendulum land and break the middle of the left tower.
cart roll down to tire, cart fly to the right and hit right tower.
the long-stone hit the carton on top, and the top fall down.

here a video with 233k:

Thanks @comex666 for the strategy and the video. Had to use an earlier release point at the top for the yellow bird. Used the area of the left most number of my score with the black wheel of the kart as the release point. Also lined up one of the tips of the yellow bird with the band of the sling to ensure the bird hits the bouncy pad below.
This level was not made for right-handed people on an iPad…lol
I still haven’t three starred it yet and I’m only at 204K.
222170/2
Still no single bird clear
well, I got the one-bird clear but for only 219K… sheesh
https://angrybir.de/3pYtwdg Proof of puppy score, thanks @sweetp.
Thanks also @comex666, followed your video of @slimfordy strat. Got lucky.

@sweetp
237570 with one bird.
Same strategy as in the highscore video but with just one bird as in @comex666 video.
I was a little slow to capture the final result, so here is a slightly zoomed final result.
And this is the highscore screenshot.
All the screenshots are also available in high res here in one set.
