The best strategy for Golden Beachball level 13 is to lob the White bird not only to bomb between the first and second towers, but also to ricochet into the marmoset atop the middle tower. Most of the level should clear, leaving at most the bottom structure and the right tower. Aim the Red bird to take out the sand blocks supporting the right tower, and use the White birds to release the bottom structure. The score in the video below is 167,060.

Solvable with one bird just like the video shows and some lucky flying bricks after the egg drop, but hard to do and only yielded 163k vs. the 171k I got with two birds.
Used the first bird of the ABN video to obtain the one bird solution but the score was lower than the present score. Used @comex666 strategy of two birds to get the present score thanks for posting. Tried to get into the 175k range but the points just were not available even though all the debris was gone and only a few tree trucks remained. Fun level to play but challenging in obtaining a higher score.
I found a fun way of doing this by accident, which surprised me.
My white bird hit the top monkey and smashed the wooden triangular support but the egg bomb failed to fire. But the white bird’s plump body just dropped straight downwards (funnelled by the vertical concrete posts) through all 9 central sandblocks after which I was left with just 1 solitary marmoset sitting on two sandblocks and a slice of concrete one the screen. An easy target for the red bird and this gave me 167,000 exactly.
Tried the method again (deliberately) and have been able to repeat the white bird trick
a few times but sometimes if things falls too straight you are just left with the left and right islands.
However, with a little luck, a 100% complete screen clearance with 1 bird may be possible this way for around 177,000. Remember not to fire the egg bomb!
168,980 with this method (lobbing untapped egg bird into top) on Rio Free version of BB13. Higher is possible.
Finally got 3 stars using this method! It took several tries and a little luck.
@habanero, I tried the bloated bird as you describe and it works just about every time, but, I’m always left with both of the side structures and have to use 2 more birds to finish, until now my highest score has been 166310. I guess I’ll keep on trying for that elusive 1 bird kill. Thanks. Ciao.
Alternate method– Key points: (1) avoids the difficult 1st shot in the video and (2) yields scores similar to the video. ie, scores above 160k are common.
It is mostly for those of us who have difficulty (as in hate hate hate) lobbing white birds high so as to come down in the narrow space between two tall columns, as in necessary in @fuji’s method shown in the video in order to get the marmoset atop the middle tower . This is a difficult shot on any level, so I found a way to avoid it here:
Short version:
Bird 1- high arc, as high as you want, drop egg between Towers 2 and 3, Mama doesn’t need to squeeze in between towers. 73k is good score at this point.
Bird 2- aim Little Red just above horizontal for a straight shot at the sand blocks below Tower 1, just don’t hit the green leaves. If you miss, reset. If Tower 1 fell already, follow video instead; see detailed explanation, below, for why.
Bird 3- Clean up. Shot varies depending on the particular state of your board, but should be obvious.
Bird 4- 10k as it shouldn’t be needed.
Detailed version:
1st, white Bird– Lob mama white bird high so it flies over the highest tower in the middle (tower 2). Drop her egg in between towers 2 and 3; just aim for the big marmoset hanging out there. No need to have mama bird drop into the narrow space, so this shot should be easy. Bomb explodes and takes out part/most of right tower (tower 3). Meanwhile, Tower 2 falls leftward, taking out that pesky marmoset on top and some of tower 1. And if you only want 3 stars, your score should be 36k-53k and you can move on to the 2nd red bird. This happens every time. Easy peasy.
If you are seeking a high score then, you need to also ensure that when Tower 2 falls leftward into Tower 1, a piece of debris (usually a wooden triange) falls with enough force to break a sand block or two, causing Tower 1 to completely crumble (like in the video). This happens about 25 percent of the time, so it very repeatabe. Done right, you should now have between 60k and 90k, depending on the destruction. I usually have 73k.
2nd, red, Bird– (same concept as the video, only were going for the sand under tower 1 instead of tower 3) so, aim Little Red a small amount above level and shoot straight for the sand blocks under tower 1, being careful to avoid the leaves. Tower 1 falls. If everything else falls with it, you’re done. If not, move on to 3rd Bird. But if you got tower 1 to fall with the first bird (again, not hard to do), then those sand blocks will most likely still be there. However no marmosets will be attached to them. In that case, shoot Little Red over the sand blocks under what was Tower 1 and aim for sand blocks under tower 3… Just like the video. Either way, you could end up clearing everything (not common, but not too rare, either) for scores in the 130-150k range. Add 20000 for last two birds and scores of 150k+ are normal.
3rd, white, Bird– if needed, and it usually is… Varies, depending on the placement of whats left. Basically, just aim Mama straight into the center of remaining structure. It should be obvious: just look for a nice wide opening/path in the remaining debris and shoot mama straight into it, dropping the egg when it will send mama to the right to take out the rightmost marmoset, who is usually still hanging on. Score at this point should easily be *at least* 150k+
—apologies for the verbose postings. As a patent attorney, prolixity quickly becomes part of our nature.
167980 using this strat. In this case (strategies), verbosity is a wonderful thing. I’m with ya though. I’ve written a patent application as well as spent approx. 10 years doing technical writing. :)
I have achieved 172660 points by dropping the bomb as late as possible with the first white bird hitting deep into the first gap…
I use this method, dropping the egg at the last second to get maximum damage from the white bird. It takes some luck with white falling dead center to take out the lowest support. Had to pick up a spare with red, but got a score of 173,960.
Same method, finally 176660.
I have a pretty reliable new three bird strat for an above average score almost everytime. First bird aim pretty straight arch and hit right at the empty box and sand block on the very first left structure, you dont even need to drop bomb. your bird will roll thru and take out whole left struture and sometimes if you’re lucky it will go all the way thru to roll down the three sand stuctures at middle bottom and glide down with the concrete post guiding it all the way and this will completely cause the whole bottom structure to fall but even if only the left goes it’s ok. Second bird to hit over to far right sand under last structure like in video..this will depend on how its left after first shot. if bottom went to then yes, like video’s second bird but if bottom is still there then just aim it approximately a little above the grass tuff and sand blocks, just as many as you can take out with what you have because even if you leave some and third structure doesn;t fall all the way, it’s ok because the third bird can and will do the rest…aim third bird pretty straight arch, almost same trajectory but a tiny bit higher than the second bird…aim him pretty straight and tap him just as he is about to make contact with the middle stucture if there was some of that bottom left the egg will get it and his body will take out top middle stucture and bobble over to get any thing left on the right. sounds worse then it is. If hit aimed right this third bird will clean up any mistakes left behind from the first two birds. GL!!!
Another fun way is to shoot mama a liitle low so as not to hit the big green fern..release her when under sand with stone plank should take out the whole left side. Then shoot red at tthe triangular sand with the grass on it.lastltly throw 2nd mama into the whole created and release egg..not that high.of score but fun :)
This is another cool method 2 birds 174k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB7AvJ8SGjA
@xebic88 i know you like these kind of shots it works great :-) @misterparon
I did it with 3 birds letting all 3 platforms fall straight down on the trees and tnt.
@misterparon that is a cool vid!
@misterparon great video! I don’t remember launching the white bird quite like that before.
Needed 3 birds for this, the 1st shot has never completely taken out the right side for me so I needed to use another bird to finish off each side. A fun strategy, thank you.
Thanks @misterparon ! Your method isn’t as difficult to do as it looks, however….like @karen68 and @crivit I am (so far) unable to get the 2 birder. 176,930 with 3 birds.
Hi @stocktoad, I’ve been using Habanero’s strat up at the top and that one also claims a 2 bird kill, but I’ve only been able to do it with 3 birds, current score 177790. I was fooling around with misterparon’s technique but it makes me crosseyed, so I stopped. Ciao my friend.
Very cool, and yes, repeatable! Thank you @misterparon!
Thanks! Had FUN using this method. And, I upped my score by 17K!
Wow @misterparon ! This is the absolute coolest!!! I can’t believe I got the shot on my very first try! Of course it took three birds the first time around. I was able to repeat it the very next two tries ;-))) It is actually very repeatable. So far my best is 175280 with two birds. I can get the right side to go but so far I haven’t had the left side go with the first shot. It’s so much fun I think I will have to play until I get it in one ;-) Thanks a bunch for sharing this great fun shot with us and for making your videos ;-D
@misterparon, great vid, used three birds, thanks.
Just a note @birdleader @Amslimfordy or @sal9 I see no difference in posts between regular comments and alternate strat? M
No? I’m seeing the alts as bluish. And if I can see them being rather color-blind, I’m assuming it’s legit.
I clearly see a difference between the two
:-)
@Amslimfordy must be my phone I wasn’t questionings the legitamcy just the difference between posts and alt strats..I can’t see it. Asked bf to check..I don’t know doesn’t really matter
Got one lucky shot !! 178770
I had a pretty bad score on this level (something like 155k), but now I started trying the method in the video. First I managed to get 163k with two birds and then finally 173k with one bird. I’m going to keep on trying ’cause there just has to be a 180k for me :D
Keep going at it – I am only 50 Points of 180.000 with a one-birder like the first bird in the Video.
wish i could remember how i got my score….. starting from scratch again, lol
i’m almost positive i didn’t do it in one bord
and i think i attacked the structure from the bottom,, but not sure
Actually it seems to be pretty much impossible to get over 170k with two birds, ’cause when I got my score I used only one bird and there wasn’t much debris left and when I used two birds I couldn’t get even close to 170k. I’m not saying that it can’t be done, but I really doubt that you’ve achieved your score with two birds :)
hmmmm… well i can/t say for sure, but ive played this level about 100 times (maybe 50) this evening…. and i haven’t kept close watch like i normally do and sometimes see how much i can get on a level with using all the birds (you HAVE to use all the birds)…. it’s just a side thing i keep track of… anyhow, i’ll play a bit mroe and see what i come up with
but it brings up a point I hardly ever see discussed which is weird considering this is a score-based game…. forgive me if you already know this but it took me quite a while to notice it, but you get different points for the same things… even pigs…. i thought all pigs were a flat 5000… but they aren’t…. :)
i guess my point is you can’t go solely by remaining debris…. i used to think you could too, but i’m pretty sure there are ways to get more points…. not saying it’s “random”, that would be sorta dumb…. but i think i’m correct…. anyone have any thoughts on this?
an obvious example is a rock that rolls down a hill…. the rock doesn’t get damaged, but you get points for that elevation change — in the end it looks like the same debris except one rock is higher
Haha, I was actually going start a discussion about this in the forum, ’cause I’ve noticed too that the points aren’t always the same. A good example is that one ABSW level that was the daily challege some time ago. Someone posted a screenshot after getting a top score, When I got my best score, I had left exaclty the same object than the other player did, but still my score was lower.
I’ve been trying to find out what’s the exact value of the objects but it’s not so easy, ’cause you need to have that object separated from others so you don’t accidentally hit anything else.
But yeah, I’m still pretty sure that you can’t get above 170k with two birds :D @tmax – My meaning was not to offend you in any way, I was just doubting :D
@lisko misterparon’s video above shows a 2-bird score of 174k but the 1st shot is tricky & of course requires luck. I’ve come close but haven’t been able to duplicate it.
Amd you’re right, there are impact points, the way things crash & grind together can really affect your score. I’m pretty sure though that a pig is 5000k no matter what.
Nice score with a 1-birder, congrats :)
@karen68 – Oh, I didn’t see that video! Ok, so it really is possible :D
I also think that the value of a pig is 5k, but usually when you kill a piggie it hits some other object and that increases the points. :)
It would be nice to know if there is some absolute max. score for every level or is it just about luck how the score ends up :D
well…. 151230 using all the bird…. so far, you are right :) happy flinging
Here’s a pic of a one birder
http://angrybir.de/17NN0yp
I’ve gotten close with a two birder but not very
I managed 170k with 2 birds using the video method. I didn’t realize at the time it was a bit of “beginner’s luck” as I haven’t come close to it in my last 100 attempts :/
Last night, I was able to increase my score to 173+ (with a very, very lucky one-birder) following the excellent ABN video method. Like @bonneypattycat, I tried the same strategy too many times today and didn’t get close to that score again. So, after reading the comments, I started playing the very creative and “fun” strategy posted by @misterperon, to attain my current score that I had to use three birds to attain (still trying for the 2 birder). Thank you @misterperon!
I’d love to know how @pdiddy28 and @robbery1701 were able to get their high scores of 183+.
I just tried @misterparon ‘s crazy shot, and to my surprise, it isn’t so crazy! Three times in 10 minutes I had two 170k scores, and one 171k score, almost as much as my current 171k using the official video that took me hours to get. All three scores were with three birds, with almost no debris.
@misterparon, my apologies for misspelling your name. Thanks again for the excellent strategy!
here a video with 2 birds and 172k:
