Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Friends on Facebook Tournament Level #3 Week 17 (this tournament began the week of September 10th, 2012). Our strategy for this level is borrowed from Liam. His strategy was to pull back the slingshot almost perfectly parallel to the ground. Release and split almost immediately to take out the glass beams supporting the bottom and middle-left portion of the structure. This should take out all the pigs on the left hand side (the boulder should fall to the left, but may not detonate the TNT — which is okay). Now use the white bird to finish off the pigs on the right. The score in the video is 87,460.
This is a repeat of level 1 from week 9, so feel free to check that post for additional walkthroughs strategies. You’re also welcome to post new ones here.
Our Angry Birds Friends Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars and highscores with and without Power Ups. If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

looking for a better strategy for this level!
Same strat as last time. I played it so much last time that did it in automatic mode…
a 100k is a bit difficult..how u managed it?
Same strategy as last time: KS+SS blue birds in descending angle destroy lower platform plus one of the rebound to destroy the ice triangle in the middle. If you are lucky, the TNT below will explode. The rest is skill at picking up points with the white bird while bringing what is left on the right.
Yeah, same strategy as mine. As noted below, you can find that video of mine, in Week 9, level 1. This time I did not spend too much time on it. @congo 100k is an excellent score for the level, and it’s a good barrier to break. I got the TNT to explode, and still only ended with 96k.
I tried one old method by Bill(from week 9) and its works. 93000 easily, more is possible.
@congo if u can plzz upload the video of this level… :P
You’ll have to wait because it is not in my hands. I sent it for post-production to Alkazar and music editing to Dthevs…. Guys, when do you think it will be ready?
Oh, by the way, I did it like in Bill’s video, but got very with the fall out and explosions…
Do you find those two posts annoying? so do I. Why make an effort if nobody* else feels obliged to do so?
* Nobody excludes the five or six people who regularly share their strats and/ or post videos or pictures of their scores in here. To them, my utmost appreciation and respect.
I truly appreciate all of the tips and tricks that you offer. I am not near as skilled in bird throwing as most of you and my FB leaderboard is much lower than most of the low scores here. I enjoy finding ways to get 3*!
Hi Congo…I do appreciate all of the videos & strategies that you all provide. Your comment was a little harsh. IF I was good enough, I too would post. However, I am lucky to reach the average scores on only 2 of the 4 levels each week, so I wouldn’t be any help to anyone. So while many of us do not share videos & strategies, it doesn’t mean we are not appreciative, it just means we are no where near as good as the 5 or 6 who do post them and are always the top scorers each week.
@shelly, apologies if I sounded harsh. My comment was not directly linked to the discussion for this level, but rather to the one in the general section for FB.
Just to clarify:
1. I do not think that everybody should start commenting here if they don’t want to. But I do believe that the top 3 scores in every level have a moral obligation to share their strategies so we can all learn.
2. Same goes for the pictures/video. I am sure that nobody is interested in seeing proof of the score that is keeping me in the my 64th place in Level 4…
But that’s just my minority opinion on the issue.
@Congo It’s great for you guys to show your strategies and pics. I’m with you,the higher scorers should help out and it would be proof of their greatness. I always enjoy your, Sheikoo’s and Bill’s help on trying new innovative shots! Thank you
@congo Thank you for clarifying, I do appreciate it and I too apologize if I sounded like a total grump. I would be lost without the videos and strategies that high ranking players post. Most levels I am pretty close to figuring out the “right” way to play the level, then verified when I watch a video, but there are some where I have no clue where to begin and my score usually shows it.
Well THanx @congo waiting fr the video to come..
n R u pointing out at me.. ??
No, I wasn’t. I don’t have a video, but see below.

1 bird, no power ups, just the luck! :)

Welcome to the Nest @marx
Nice flinging! Do you mind telling us how you shot the bird?
Your score beats all the power up scores, impressive.
Same strategy like Congo described last time (Level 1, Week 9).
But without the power-up and only one bird used.
Shot it up where the triangle ice bricks are. Somehow also TNT exploded and destroyed everything on the left. It was happening so fast that I still dont understand it all. :D
@shelly and @marx, I don’t have the means to record video like Bill or Sheikhoo, but these are some pictures that may help clarify the strategy that I used. Again, the strategy is not mine, but from master Bill.
1. First short (zoom out mode): SS+KS Aim in the middle of the left side of the trunk of the three. The birds should be split just when they reach the wall. TNT explodes randombly: between 56-65K. This is the easy shot. Picture: http://angrybir.de/U90OwN
Warning: I do not know if the aiming changes with the screen resolution.
2. Second shot: This is the one that you need to think carefully, because collecting the remaining points may not be that easy. In this case, I was lucky that the little piece of ice stayed as a bridge between the two pigs.so dropping the bomb had maximum impact. Sometimes throwing it down and hitting with the ricochet is better.http://angrybir.de/Pvu6Y
I made 95K in this quick sample, but it could have easly been a bit higher with more luck with the TNT and the debris on the top. I hope it helps, calmed down Congo…
Excellent score Marx, would you mind sharing where you shot your bird, when you split it?
Unfortunately I dont have a video or even a picture because it all happened too fast and I was’nt even expecting so high score. Was aiming more like 94-95K with this strategy. But the strat was like described last time, shot up were the big rock is between two class triangles, split about 3/4 on the way. If I remember correctly and I haven’t got even close to my score after that one time. Lot’s of luck I think.
my performance at link below, i hope to reach 100.000
