So no more separate videos/walkthroughs?
@ron14 Yeah. We have decided that doing separate posts for each level is not worth our time when the tournaments last just 3-4 days.
Could you put the time marks next to the scores? That would assist in finding each level
That’s understandable @mighty-red-1, but how will the scoring work now?
I see @dseufert (Makin Bacon) has a score showing, but score to what level?
I’m a little confused, I’m sure others are too. :(
Even more confused now. I just entered all my scores as of now, but listed above, where it shows my score, states level 1-6. But showing my level 6 score.
I’m confused. Are you employed by Rovio? If so,I offer the following; I prefer the level-by-level walk-throughs. Not sure why you made this decision, since everyone seemed to be happy with the old way. Was it to save money (doesn’t seem necessary). Was it to save effort?
If you are Independent of Rovio and posting the walk- throughs as a help, I guess what your followers post doesn’t really matter.

We have indeed done away with the per level walkthrough posts. They were just too much to manage. You can still share your strategies here, just be sure to note what level they are for.
We’ve made some changes above that I think will help. First, the wonky scores that appeared above are gone. Second, there is now a mini-leaderboard included, so you can quickly see the top scorer in each level.
Let us know your thoughts on what else we might do to make things better for you.
Thanks @birdleader! Yes it will take a little bit of time to figure out best ways with new configurations. Hopefully it won’t take that long, should be interesting ride in the meantime. :D
@dribbird – BlueStacks is a mobile emulator, not a cheat. As far as all platforms being equal, they can get closer, I agree, but doubt equal. Why? Because of inherent differences. My Kindle doesn’t work exactly like an iPad or mini, close, but not equal. My laptop doesn’t fling just like a friend’s Mac, close, but not equal. That means I have to use my brain to tweak strategies. To me, that is a good thing, I love using my brain. ;)
Some levels are better with PC/Mac, some with mobile. In the long run it works out I think, just may not seem like it in the now.
@babby – This is a fan-site. As far as I know, the only way affiliated with Rovio, is our enjoyment of the games, and helping others. As someone who now helps make the videos, my take is it really is a lot of time taken up to try and do individual post levels for walkthroughs here. I know when it was just once a week it took a lot of @sal9‘s time. Now with twice a week, just too much.
@Rambleberry – ok, I understand. I love the. site, have used tips from other players for quite awhilei and it always helps my score. I don’t use BlueStacks, but I do use power-ups on my iPad and many, many, many tries. I’ve only achieved the elusive 1st place spot one time. If the game was too easy and predictable I wouldn’t be interested. Thanks for your response; I can only imagine how much time it takes to keep it going so consistently.
“WE” again cannot achieve MOST scores using ANY PC & a few other platforms. This is BS! This is awful. A tournament is supposed to be on a EQUAL PLAYING FIELD! IT IS A TOURNAMENT! The cheaters are one thing using BLUESTACKS & etc… But it is ROVIO who are cheating people! “ALL” platforms MUST BE EQUAL! Many people spend MONEY on Power-Ups for their children. It is easy to see who are the REAL cheaters! ROVIO is! They are cheating parents, their children out of their money! Children came over for the 4th. We bought 3000 coins. Again, the children were outraged. The video’s blows through each level with ease. The scores are unattainable for the most part. PC & other platforms cannot match it. No one has to buy anything. It is anyone’s free-choice to play or buy PU’s or NOT to play. The choice is easy now. NO MORE $ FOR POWER-UPS or getting other people to join/play to acquire power-ups. We have had people tell us. “Gee, it is NOT fair”. It is embarrassing! “WE” are all DONE w/cheating ROVIO!
It’s a GAME, to play at your enjoyment. You don’t have to BUY anything. Gees, calm down ! Life is too short to get all this excited! PLUS! The game is FREE!
Your way behind times. Others & I already said no one has to play It’s principle. Mostly kids. Clue? It’s rigged, ..period. You were so constructive….lol!
After PM chat with Sa9 and Bird Leader recently, it is my understanding that they are revamping the ABF leaderboards and per-level strat-sharing. They need to make it easier for themselves and us Nesters in consideration of two tournaments per week while participation has been dwindling. Let’s all be patient and encouraging of their efforts to streamline and make our experience as players even better than before. You can help, too, by encouraging veteran Nesters to come back and play regularly, as well as participate in comments and sharing strats, k?
I could be wrong–and I often am–but you can still post comments and share strats via the individual ABF walk-throughs. Click Walk-Throughs in the menu bar and select ABF. The leaderboards are still intact for posting your scores. A big THANK YOU, too, to Rambleberry and CampingLED for sharing their video strats along with those from Sal9! –MB :)
Sharing strats would be wonderful! Especially PC strats. You can usually use the PC strats and then apply them to mobile/Bluestacks to get a higher score. TntBomb had some very good PC walkthroughs.

seems to have been weeks of complaints and reasons why the participation is getting less
So tournament 3 215-B I do and use everything the power up video shows about 20 times so far now and my bird does not go no where near as far as the video? What’s up with that??!! Using the same sling I just paid for no less?? I’m about done with this for good it’s all scam when you can’t come anywhere near close to the score using and doing the same things.
@jon – what platform are you playing on? If you are playing on a PC you aren’t going to get the same results as the videos, unless it’s a gaming computer, or you have very good/great graphics. Those videos are on a mobile device. If you are using a PC you can download and install Bluestacks which is a mobile emulator. http://www.bluestacks.com/ You will need to create a Google account if you don’t already have one so you can download ABF from the Google Play store.
I appreciate all the work that is done on this site with the videos. I find them very helpful. I did stop entering my scores since I do not use power ups .
I didn’t even know fully about the power ups, for about the first 5 weeks I played, , and STILL got high scores!
I fully appreciate all the developers of this site, and the players. Makes it fun and interesting!
Oh, and for those players that find so much to complain about, , let the rest of us know when YOU develop

Just a question : are the diamonds and stone blocks inside the cave in level 1 destroyable ? I have tried most possible ways without any luck so far. I am not interested in the strategy, just to know if i can take them off, so i can keep trying – Thank you
A couple of times when the the exploding can fell backwards it hit that ledge and took out the diamond on ledge and one inside. But that was less than handful of times. As for the rest in the cave, I think they’re lost cause. Would be nice though! :D

I appreciate the effort involved in managing the website, but as you can see, there are now no posters contributing their strategies anymore. I hate the 2 tournaments per week. It’s too much to keep up with in our busy lives plus it makes me spend twice as much money on coins. And obviously for you guys it’s too much to manage the website. I wish things didn’t have to always change… :(
I sort of agree. ROVIO PURE GREED! Of course 2 per week…MO-MONEY! They lowered coins for the same amount of money. Plus they knocked off the $49.99 amount completely. Enhanced sites should have their OWN platform. People who say they are NOT enhanced sites are dreamers! Is BLUESTACKS & the rest of those sites playing on AB regulation site? NO! I rest my case!…take care ;-).

Ok. Then fix these issue’s! People spend $ for PU’s for their kids or kids orgs in recreation computer rooms. You cut back the efficiency of PU’s & many cannot match/duplicate what the PU WalkThrough’s can do! It is a competition. Even the kids are fed up. I understand your concern so please understand ours. ;-)….

0) BQ to bring down everything (this level eats a lot of BQs before everything comes down);
1) FLW+Bone (or Golden) fairly straight forward to mop up as much as possible (often the wooden balls stop the FLW cold–frustrating.

Level 6
iPad Mini with PUs – 2 birds for 234946:
1) Bubbles+KS+Bone (or Golden) to wipe out most everything on far right tier;
2) FLW+Bouncy to lower platform. Should bounce back and get pig and debris in the lower left pit.

Level 1 on PC
Gold/Bone sling, KS, Wingman straight down into 1st pit
Scope, BQ, PP, sling Terrance towards the engine of the vehicle just as the front wheel runs over the pig (or just as the front wheel lifts up). I have had varying results depending on when I release Terrance.
I got 285K+ after about 10 attempts. Now after several more attempts I have a score of 292,273.

Just curious if anyone has found a way to get the diamonds in the cave on the first level of this tournament. They’re taunting me!
LOL! No. I tried. Actually, I got one diamond in the cave when I use the balloon bird when one of the objects hit one. Lord knows I have tried . ;-)… ..
I see people with thousands of power ups and their slings seem a lot more powerful (Watching the walkthrough) I’ve tried doing the exact same thing with mine and it’s not even close to being the same. What is going on?
